About the author

Beth Cornelison started writing stories as a child when she penned a tale about the adventures of her cat, Ajax. She received her bachelor's degree in Public Relations from the University of Georgia and after working in public relations for a little more than a year, she moved with her husband from Tennessee to Louisiana, where she decided to pursue her love of writing fiction.

Since that time, she has written many more stories of adventure and romantic suspense and has won numerous honors for her work including the coveted Golden Heart prize for unpublished authors awarded by Romance Writers of America.

Beth is active on the board of directors for the North Louisiana Storytellers and Authors of Romance (NOLA STARS) in Shreveport, LA and stays involved with her sons Boy Scout pack and her church. For fun, she loves reading, traveling, playing Pokeno once a month with friends and spending down-time with her family.

Jules Bailey , Chemistry PhD candidate, has put her schooling on hold and moved to North Dakota for her sister’s sake. A sister who suffered a mental breakdown after being stalked and followed by the stalker from one location to another. Now she’s getting treatment in the best treatment center Jules could find.
Working in a convenience store is not her end goal, but it’s a job near her sister.
When Jules discovers a body close to the store, she meets the handsome sheriff, Callum Colton. She’s an intriguing woman with a wall of protection. When he finds out her reason for her current life, he wants to help. Even is Jules has lost faith in law enforcement after they seemed unable and unwilling to help arrest the stalker.
As the danger increases, these two are fighting the attraction. Neither trusting to give their hearts as they likely will be hurt.
This engaging suspense romance will keep the listeners on their toes. The listeners will be hoping that justice is made and that the two of them realize that taking a risk might lead to happiness.
The narrator Chloe Ryan brings the story to life.

I thoroughly enjoyed Colton's Deadly Evidence! Beth Cornelison delivers a fast-paced romantic suspense that is completely captivating. The characters are interesting, and the plot kept me hooked—I just couldn't stop reading.

Chloe Ryan's narration was fantastic and really added to the tension and emotion of the story.

A solid 4-star listen!

Colton’s Deadly Evidence by Beth Cornelison is a romantic suspense. This is my first book I have listened to by this author and it won’t be my last. Narrated by Chloe Ryan. Great character development. Jules is trying to catch the guy who was stalking her sister and getting away with it after her sister had a mental breakdown when the guy keeps after her. With the help of the small town sheriff, can they finally stop this stalker. Thank you to #NetGalley and #Harlequin Audio for this Arc. This is my honest review. Releases July 28, 2026

An opposites attract romantic suspense. I love a good tight knit family dynamic in a story! The narrator did a fantastic job bringing this story to life!
