Wow... exceptionally impressive book. I truly enjoyed reading this captivating and quite loving story that depicted humor, growth and development. The storyline and concepts of this unpredictable novel were terrifying suspenful and outrageous volient at times. There were alot of high intense physiological and anxious situations in this fascinatingly detailed story.

I admired Suzanne dedicated to her students well-being as well as their mental health. I love how supportive and fiercely protected Seth was in helping her. I respected his dedicated to raising his son, Sammy, in a nurturing environment. I really enjoyed and love ❤️ 💖 Sammy and his dog, Lucky. He is incredibly supportive, caring 💗 💖 and genuinely relatable.

This is the very first time I'm reading a Carla Cassidy's book, and I am proudly recommending this extraordinary talented author to everyone ...❤️ (p.s. However, I did not like the ending of this story)....

Trouble in Kansas
Widow Suzanna Michaels immerses herself in teaching third grade in a small Kansas town. When one of her newer students needs some extra help, she volunteers to tutor him at his home without hesitation. The only complication – she finds herself attracted to the single dad farmer, Seth Daniels. Then her life is threatened—twice—and Seth is the only person she fully trusts.
Ms. Cassidy presents a good story, easy to follow when starting part-way through a series. Can you guess the Scarecrow Killer?

Spice: 2/5

This book annoyed me with it's repetitiveness. It was like almost every other page that the MMC or FMC was reminding themselves of why "they didnt want a relationship". Meanwhile, they kept kissing eachother and going out together " as friends"?

A thoroughly enjoyable read though Seth was a bit of a lunkhead for the longest time.
