4.75 ⭐️ His Devotion is a short, fast paced dark/stalker romance that will have you giggling to yourself in the middle of the night lol I had so much fun reading this! There were a few errors that’s why I rated it a 4.75 ⭐️ but overall it was really good! The characters were likable, Tom the dachshund was definitely a great add 🥰 the ending felt rushed but being as it was a short read I guess it kind of needed to be. Otherwise 10/10! Mae super kind and nice, I enjoyed speaking to her! I’m grateful I won her giveaway for this book because it was a fun read & I was in a slump for a few days so this got me out of it!
Dark romance…thriller…HEA?? Sign me up! I absolutely devoured this book. I loved that the author didn’t drag on the unknown stalker trope. It felt more realistic this way. I love how determined the MMC was to get the FMC to fall in love with him. If you love stalker, dark romance then this book is for you. If you love a thrill then this book is for you. This book was 🥵 It is a quick, easy read that you will devour and love.
ARC Review. This book would be perfect for someone just starting to read dark romance. But someone like me that isn’t new to dark romance I wanted a little more. Sometimes it felt like the book was written in a hurry. I just wanted more from the characters in the book. The book also has a lot of typos that made it frustrating. That being said I do see a lot of potential in this author and will try more from her if she writes more.
I normally steer clear of books with the whole stalker trope, but I decided to give this one a chance when I saw the author’s TikTok. I really enjoyed this book. I really liked the characters and the story line. When I learned that the dad was about to be released from prison and possibly come back I couldn’t put the book down. I had to know what happened next.
