The silent count is all about trust. No snap count, no signal—just instinct, timing, and the kind of connection that can't be taught.
I was locked into this season—focused on the NFL draft with tunnel vision on my future. But then my psych class hit me harder than any linebacker, and suddenly, I needed help.
Chelsea Sullivan was only supposed to be my tutor to keep me eligible. She's quiet, brilliant, impossible to read—and the more I learn, the more I know she's hiding something.
My dad says she's a distraction. He says her past isn't worth risking my future. But even with everything on the line, I can't stay away.
Because when the crowd fades, and it's just the two of us, she's the only one I need.

Cute cover, check. Great premise, check. Promisingly favorable reviews, check.
The problem for me? Insta-love. Period.
I jumped into this book without knowing there would be insta-love vibes between the main characters and y'all knew how much I hated that trope. There was no friendship establishment for the couple as they had been kinda friends already before getting more alone time together due to the tutor thingy. I gotta say the prologue totally got me hooked as I wanted to find out how that tragic event affected our female main character later in life or what happened when her "boyfriend" found out, but with the slow pace of the story filled with lots of redundant descriptions, I simply lost interest. I didn't think I made it to the grand revelation of that moment I'd been waiting for and the rest of the book was just...blurry for me.
I wish I could enjoy this one more because it got great potential from what I read and from all those raving reviews on Goodreads, but sadly, at the end of the day, this book just missed the mark for me.

This YA Romance hit home like I never expected. The blur/trigger warning page should have given me a better understanding of what to expect (not that the author didn’t explain it); but more like my brain read it and I thought it would be ok; I was more than marginally wrong. The storyline may not resonate directly to me (but may to many others- and for that i am deeply sorry) but I do resonate with the FMC’s feelings when it comes to “love” and relationships.” This story shows that even the darkest of pasts can “heal” with lots of therapy and help, but certain scars stay more present and take more time and effort- and that’s ok. The growth depicted of the FMC is so real, it felt like Sutton really tried to make a love story for not just love between two characters but for the FMC herself; Self-love and Self-trust (IMO)
I absolutely love this series and I’m SO happy we are getting more books!! I knew Bo’s book was going to be so good because I loved him in all the other books! Chelsea is a tutor and Bo is the quarterback who needs tutoring. What happens when Chelsea’s past catches up to her, and will Bo stand by her or let her go? I was swooning and kicking my feet through this whole book! I love an MMC who knows what he wants and goes after it! I highly recommend!🏈❤️
