Ethan and Michele have his as the couple of focus in Wandering back to you. Michele is cedar ridge well Ethan left if behind nine years prior. But these two waders through the past to find the truth about what their future is meant to be and how it affects each other. The plot is exceptional and well developed. The characters narratives for Michele and Ethan drive this store. The pacing of the character development is slower side and take so time but the plot is fat paced. The slower pacing of the character development is important because it helps to build up the relationship between Ethan and Michele. I highly recommend picking up wandering back to you by Etta Lane. Her newest book is well worth the read. If you’ve not read this author this book interconnected stand alone in a series I’d recommend reading wandering close, wandering in the dark then picking up the newest wandering back to you. Character development occurs through out the other books for Ethan. Check out Wanderland series today.

I’ve been a fan of Etta Lane’s ever since I got my hands on Safe With Us, and she quickly became an auto buy author for me. This Wanderland series is absolute perfection, and Wandering Back to You (the third book in the series) did not disappoint. It’s a slow burn, but it’s done so beautifully.
The connection between the MMC and FMC is so strong you don’t just read their emotions, you feel them. And let’s talk about the MMC… a hot, devoted fireman who will do anything for his girl? The groveling is chef’s kiss, unapologetic, and completely swoon-worthy. Book boyfriend material through and through.
If you haven’t started the Wanderland series yet, what are you waiting for? Grab book one and experience the journey in order so you can fully appreciate the relationships and growth along the way. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

Truly loved this book! Firefighter, second chance romance. Ethan knew Michele was his end game from a young age. Now he’s back and determined to win his girl back. The groveling was A++. And who doesn’t love a man who’s willing to do anything and everything for his girl!

Wow. I’m absolutely speechless. This book absolutely blew me away and I loved every minute of it!

I was crying during the prologue so I knew that this book was either going to destroy me or heal me. Turns out, it did both. I laughed out loud, I blushed, I yelled, and I sobbed. I can’t ask for much else in a book.
Ethan embodies what every woman wants in a man. Someone who is incredibly masculine and sexy, but who isn’t afraid to show their emotional side and submit to their significant other. While Michele is what every woman wants to be. Strong, successful, beautiful, and surrounded by people she loves who love her just as much.

I have been waiting for their story . Michele and Ethan’s love story was bittersweet. A second chance romance with high school sweethearts , one woman that built walls so high to protect her heart while there’s one man willing to fix what he has broken and began tearing that wall down . Brick by brick . By doing so all the painful wounds of the past are displayed in the open , truths and secrets come to light .. and it may damage the place they’ve found themselves to be in. But this time Ethan is staying and is ready to fight for her love.
They had eachtohers first in everything .. First love , first fight , first heartbreak .. But Ethan is ready to make her his only girl. His one and only . Both navigating their relationship in the present while having the pain of the past attempting to sabotage their love .
After 2 books where Michele is broken I did have to hate on Ethan . I’m a girly girl after all !! But after a lot of grovelling , I adored the way Ethan took control of the situation. He was ready to push away all Michele’s worries , insecurities and anxiety of their past and her feelings of self worth . She asked for actions not words and he surely did deliver !
Their story was raw , passionate and very heated . Can you let someone you once loved back in to your heart and hope they don’t break you for a third time ?

This book was absolutely amazing!
Wandering Back To You is everything I love about this series turned up to eleven—deep emotions, second chances, and characters that feel like old friends.
Michele and Ethan’s story is pure heart. You can feel the weight of their history on every page—the love that never faded, the regret, the longing, and the growth that happened while they were apart. Ethan coming back to Cedar Ridge with all that guilt and determination? Swoon. Michele standing strong in the life she built without him? I loved her strength so much. Watching them circle each other, clash, burn, and slowly find their way back was incredibly satisfying and emotional.
One of my favorite things about this series (and this book especially) is how alive the friend group feels. The group text chats are EVERYTHING—I love them so much. They add humor, warmth, and that found-family feeling that makes this world feel so real. The history, the inside jokes, the little details about this friend group just make my heart happy. These characters are so well developed that I feel like I know them.
Etta Lane continues to deliver masterful storytelling—beautiful writing, emotional depth, and characters you can’t help but root for. This series has my whole heart, and Wandering Back To You might be my favorite yet.

I absolutely love this series and its characters. Just when I finish one, swearing it is my favorite, the next one comes out. LOL! I wasn’t ready to feel all of these emotions, but I was so happy I did. In book two, I disliked Ethan, so I was prepared for his redemption!
The next book has been set up nicely, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it!

Ethan and Michele have been best friends since Michele was 7 years old. He then became her boyfriend, the love of her life, her soul mate until he moved out of town with his parents when she was 17. 15 years later and Ethan finally returns home and back to Michele. Michele never got over him and Ethan never got over her. She is his other half. He moved back home to finally claim her as his and never leave her again.
I loved how Michele could finally be herself when Ethan came home. She always felt like she had to be perfect because of how everyone she ever loved has always left her.
When Ethan finally came back she could finally breathe and stop being perfect. Though she made Ethan work for it. Oh and he sure did work for it!
Ethan would do anything and everything for Michele and I loved reading every second of it.

Etta has done it again. This third book in the series completely wrecked me in the best, most healing way. It’s a story of first loves, heartbreak, and the kind of growth that only time—and the right person—can bring.
Michelle and Ethan… wow. Their journey felt so raw and real that I caught myself aching for them, rooting for them, and celebrating every step they took back toward each other. Michelle deserves the world, but what I loved most is that Ethan does too—and Etta gives them both the endings and the dreams they truly deserved!
This book is emotional and heartbreaking, yet somehow soft and soothing at the same time. It pulls you apart then puts you back together with that perfect, chef’s-kiss kind of magic. The character development, the tension, the payoff… everything just worked.

This was a sweet read if you truly love a second chance story. And it truly is a second chance because Michele has been without her first boyfriend, Ethan for several years and it’s been a hard pill to swallow finding him back in their hometown.
And he’s back with every intent to get her back. And following this guy as he tries everything to win her is a rollercoaster. One of my favorite aspects of the book is the spectacular friend group supporting these two. They are what I envision a good friend group should be.
Secondly Ethan is just this gentle soul trying so hard to make up for lost time and for what he put Michele through.

Etta Lane has done it again. my favorite part about Wandering Back to You is the way she describes the feelings Michele and Ethan had/have. you could feel the deep gutteral pain and the great amount of love and adoration they have for each other. the flashbacks were very necessary, so kudos for the backstory!! obsessed with these characters bc all of them are included throughout these first 3 books in the series. all previous characters are mostly still major players in each book, but do not overshadow the MMC and FMC arcs in each book.
I would say this is the slowest burn of the series and maybe fewer spicy scenes, but the story does not get stale in between the hot stuff! once again, I've also learned some things about bedroom games🤤

“Until my last dying breath.”
The way I squealed and gasped when I first read that! I am not okay. That phrase has altered my brain chemistry because that’s all I’ve thought about since I finished this book.
Ethan and Michele are such a good couple and they have such a deep connection that I can only wish to have one day. I love how Ethan was determined to do what ever Michele said or do what ever he had to in order to redeem himself after all this time. I also love how Michele made him work for it, grovel for it even. The support both of them had over the years just proves that this group of friends are 100% a family.
I lost count the number of times I cried. Michele had me all in my feels with her. This is probably one of, if not the, most emotional book I’ve read all year. I adore Ethan and Michele’s story so much. It’s beautiful, messy, spicy, deep, emotional and other things I forgot to mention. I didn’t realize how much I would connect with Michele until now which could be why I think this is my favorite book of the series….so far 😉

I lost count the number of times I cried. Michele had me all in my feels with her. This is probably one of, if not the, most emotional book I’ve read all year. I adore Ethan and Michele’s story so much. It’s beautiful, messy, spicy, deep, emotional and other things I forgot to mention. I didn’t realize how much I would connect with Michele until now which could be why I think this is my favorite book of the series….so far 😉

This was such a beautiful + raw love story! There were so many moments that I absolutely adored. And of course, a hunky fireman who would do anything to earn his girl back?! YES PLEASE!
Also really really loved the friendship circle-the texts, the dinners, the support...goodness it was so sweet to read! Good laughs too!

I'm not usually a second chance kinda gal. This story and the way that Etta Lane has written it now gives me hope for the trope. I've read other second chances where they're sappy or just miss the mark and oh my gosh that is NOT this one.
The strength of Michele and the way that Ethan has to work to come back to her, to prove that he's not leaving again, and that she is in fact his end game..... with his dying breath. OH BOY that hit me so hard! Although the groveling and the way that she had him begging and that he wasn't afraid to do whatever he needed to in order to prove to her that he was there to stay for her... for them.
Where's the next book? I NEED the next one now please.

This story is what second chances are made of. Never letting go, never moving on…the yearning and the pining, the redemption and reconciliation. Ethan and Michelle were each others’ everything in high school, until Ethen moved away to pursue his career. Now a decade and a half later, he returns to town and is determined break down the walls Michelle has built and win back her love. A second chance romance that was worth the read. It was spectacular and I loved Ethan and Michelle as a couple. Michelle personally guarded and walls built so high it’s hard to bring the down, all from being broken and burned in her past. But Etta did a fantastic job with bringing the reader to a front row visual seat of Ethan’s determination and groveling to Regain the love of his life. Such an amazing story that I was able to cross off my TBR.

This is the third book in the series and the third amazing opportunity I received to read the ARC.
I have really enjoyed getting to know these characters and this world by Etta Lane. You can certainly read this as a standalone, but I highly suggest reading the first two as you get to know the whole group and also see a little bit of buildup as to where these characters go in this book 3.
In the first two books in the series, we learn that Michele and Ethan have a history, but we don’t know what. All we know is he left her. This book brings the whole story full circle.
Now Ethan is back in town and his mission is to win back the love of his life: Michele.

Some kinky action 😉

WOW!!! I absolutely loved this book!!! The way it had me sobbing at one point!!! 😭😭
Michelle and Ethan have been best friends since they were 8 years old. Then they became high school sweethearts and each other’s first loves. Then circumstances broke them apart and they were apart for 15 years!!! Now Ethan is back in town and he is determined to get Michelle back no matter what it takes!!!
The way that Ethan shows up for Michelle in every way is just beautiful. You can feel the love, the yearning, the angst. I went through so many emotions while reading. And the saying “Until my last dying breath!” Oh my gosh!!! It did something to my brain!!! The love and the devotion are hard to put into words.
It is a slow burn but once it gets there it is pretty spicy but the spice doesn’t deter from the story at all. Zero complaints from me! This is the third book in the Wanderland series and I can’t wait to read the next book.

I was lucky enough to be an ARC reader for Etta again, and this book did not disappoint.
This is the 3rd book in the series, and normally with series I get bored by the 2nd book, but this group of friends have kept me hooked.

Now that I’m finally done crying, OMG this book! I just love the way Etta writes because she just makes you feel every emotion of her characters. AND….the spiciness! HELLO!!!!! I was hating on Ethan….I’ll just leave it at that. Such a great book!!!!
