I unhinged my jaw and swallowed this book whole. Another five-star banger, as if I expected anything less. This one felt so different from other books I’ve read by HB, which just proves again that this woman has serious range, she can truly do it all.👏🏻
The opening scene had me fucking gaggggeeddddd. That power dynamic? I was literally kicking my feet. The moment she pulled out the gun and straddled him, I said, “Oh, this is gonna be my motherfucking girl,” and SHE WAS. 🤭
This book was ridiculously hot. The tension was too damn good. The push and pull between these two is straight-up addicting, the chemistry is unreal. The way they’re going back-and-forth stealing orgasms from each other. FERALLL. Jessica steals a one from him so of course he has to steal one back while he’s driving his $3 million car. WOOF WOOF
I love a poor/rich dynamic, especially when the FMC is from the wrong side of the tracks. They’re always strong-willed baddies who don’t take shit from anyone. Jessica is playing hard to get and I was cheering her on because the harder she plays, the harder Kane falls and I was eating it up. MAKE HIM BEG FOR IT SIS WE LOVE TO SEE IT
Kane, Kane, Kane… let me tell you about my new obsession. This man radiates big dick energy. His expressions, the way he moves, the way he talks, the way he literally leans against a wall the control, the confidence. THE LIST GOES ON. And don’t even get me started on the fact that he races cars, has money, and is a total softy for his mom. Like, are you kidding?? The total package.
( he also has a couple nicknames for her which I love because why are we just settling for one?)
And the tropes?? Every single trope I love ( I’m a little rat for primal) AND we threw in a secret society? I was fully fed. I flew through this book. I was thinking about it all day. I couldn’t put it down and literally sped home just to finish it. I genuinely don’t know if I have the strength to wait for the next book. Besides the plot and the spice being literally immaculate, I just have to talk about how good the pacing felt for such a short book. I was invested from the third page. This is the definition of a binge worthy book.
Also, the side characters?? I’m digging every single one, and I’m already so intrigued by several of them. I need this to become a whole world. This might be one of my new favorite things. I LOVE IT HERE. Usually I take a minute to gather my thoughts and compose a put together review, but I hope you guys can tell from how chaotic this is that it’s just genuine natural excitement after JUST finishing it.😂😂

The first few chapters were FIRE!!! (Reversed) power play, a gun, calling him a good boy?! Wow I was sat! And the story flew after that. I just love a man obsessed!
There wasn't much plot and I haven't learn much about anything yet. And I can't wait for the next books.
Also, why was the ending so abrupt?? The book is only around 160 pages and it would make sense to make it longer and give us more of the story.

My weakness is Secret Society dark romance. Add in a girl from the wrong side of the tracks who’s a total baddie? I’m sold. This was a whole lotta fun packed into less than 200 pages, and I devoured it. I can’t wait to see what else this new universe, Harleigh, is building has in store.

Jessica is from the other side of town, living with her drunk father, her sister and older brother, their mother is in a hospice and they are struggling to make ends meet. Jessica, comes up with a plan however, she didn’t expect getting caught and by none other than the owners son. She doesn’t back down as he tries to corner her. From here on out we are drawn into the push pull tête à tête which leads to some conflict of interests and 🌶️. What will happen when their two worlds collide?

I went into this expecting a quick dark romance hit, but I was hooked from the very first chapter. Jessica is a fierce, determined heroine fighting to keep her world from falling apart, and Kane is the dangerously magnetic heir who should be her worst mistake… but absolutely isn’t.
Their dynamic is everything I love in dark romance.. forbidden, tense, unbalanced in the best way, and full of power plays and heat. The chemistry between them crackles off the page. Kane, in particular, had me blushing and laughing in equal measure with how bold he is.
For a 120-page novella, it packs so much: corruption, tension, street-racing vibes, primal energy, and a world I instantly wanted more of. And that CLIFFHANGER? I was not prepared. I already need the next book!!!
If you love fast-paced, addictive dark romance with a strong FMC and a MMC who is one step away from feral, Fatal Collision is a must-read!

I genuinely don't know who I wanted to be more. Jessica definitely put Kane in his place multiple times (this woman got him off WHILE HOLDING HIM AT GUN POINT, need I say more?). Then our baby Kane, that man has me so down bad it's not even funny. All I need everyone to read chapter 8 and you will get it. 🤭
Even tho it's short, it's such a a great introduction to what's to come. Harleigh is an auto read author for me and best believe I will be first in line to the next one. 🖤

Why am I so in love with the broken men? Kane is hot as asphalt in July on the equator. I love how he gets handled by her in the beginning. Having an FMC that is so fiercely loyal to her family and just trying to survive. I am so excited for the next book this was a wild adventure. Also Kane’s dad made me feral with anger. That guy is a special brand of evil. The dagger OMG I am dying to see how she will survive this one. You have awesome tropes with secret society, rich MMC and FMC from the other side of the tracks. ARC BOOK REVIEW
Wow. I literally binge read this so fast!
It was hard not to put down!
The tension?! The push and pull and their banter?! YES PLEASE !
The FMC is a total badass. I like her and she is definitely not a damsel in distress!
The MMC. KANE RAVENCOURT😍😮💨 loved him! “He’s tall, 6’4”, with styled hair darker than the night and cold blue eyes.” He’s definitely cocky, handsome and an asshole. Perfection 😅
This is only the beginning and I can’t wait for the next one! It leaves you WANTING MORE!

Wrong side of the tracks, obsession, forced Os, forbidden.
Fast burn and uber spicy, this book is a short read that ends in a cliffhanger. I can't wait to see what comes next.

I liked the pace of the book. I would say it's fast-paced, but not rushed! It keeps you turning the page and has you hooked.
I'd also say this book is character-driven. Let's dive into the characters. The FMC is called Jessica, and she is from the poor side of town; her mother is dying from cancer, and her dad is always drunk. Her brother keeps trying to race to bring home money, but he keeps losing because he's racing the rich boys from the other side of town. Jessica has a younger sister, who is more innocent and pure. I liked Jessica's character. She carries a lot of weight on her shoulders, weight she shouldn't have to carry. She is ballsy and does what needs to be done. I freaking loved that she pulled a power move. You usually see these power plays go the other way, and so I loved it! I was cheerleading in my head for her.
Kane, at first he comes across as a dominant, sexy, rich boy who has everything under his control. Which is appealing, don't get me wrong, but then seeing how Jessica handled him was hot. As the book goes on, you see that Kane also has a lot of weight on his shoulders. So does his twin brother Cash. I liked Kane's character, I liked the cocky swagger he had, the way he kept texting Jessica, and came to claim the orgasm he was owed when she left him on read.
The setting of the book was, I guess, something many people can relate to in a way that no matter what town you live in, there are the richer areas and the poorer areas. Makes it all the more realistic in your mind.
This is a Harleigh Beck book, so of course, I liked the writing style. She has a way of writing that immerses you. Everything else fades into the background, and it's just you and the book. I pretty much always ended up claiming a new book boyfriend, too. We will now add Kane to my list. This is getting serious now...my list of book boyfriends has to be heading towards triple figures lol.
Overall, I loved this book. I was hooked from page one. I read this in one sitting and would like to go back and read it again!
Do I recommend this book? Heck YES.
It will make you laugh, and probably make you get butterflies. Kane can wink at me and call me princess any day, but when he called her baby! I was gone...swooning...kicking my feet the lot!

Okay, this was so freaking good! The banter, the tension, the spice.. all 10/10. It had me in a chokehold from the very beginning. I didn’t want to put this down. The chemistry between our main characters was insane! The second Kane and Jessica was on the same page I knew I was going to fall in love with them. Kane Ravencourt was arrogant, toxic, and filthy mouthed. Just how I love my MMCs. Jessica was an absolute badass of an FMC. She was fierce, feisty, and unwilling to bow down to anyone.
Kane’s family owns the town, Jessica does anything she can to survive and keep her family afloat. After events cause Kane to notice Jessica, he becomes infatuated and refuses to let her go even when he knows it’ll cause nothing but trouble.

Honestly, probably one of the easiest 5⭐️ that I have read and it’s no surprise that it was written by Harleigh Beck. She can do no wrong 😌( and I will fight you on that idc) this book was filled with deliciousssss tension and angst and is building up for an incredible and deeper storyline that I CANNOT wait to continue! Right in chapter 2 I was completely sucked into what this story was unfolding. I am LOVING the FMC Jessica, because let’s be honest, she is living out our wildest fantasies 🤭 Kane I can already tell is going to make my list of top book boyfriends. The way this book ended I already know that I am going to fall in love with him and pieces of my heart are going to be breaking for him and what he has to do and go through. If this is how book ONE starts off then I can only imagine that the rest of this series is going to FIRE! 🔥 I need the rest of their story like I need air. PLEASE DONT KEEP ME WAITING QUEEN!

Short. Spicy. Savage. Fatal Collision had me hooked from page one. Harleigh Beck has delivered what she does best.. unhinged energy, sharp tension, and heat that hits at full speed.
Jessica is a great FMC who, after playing with fire and catching the attention of the arrogant and dangerous Kane, holds her own against him. Speaking of, this is one MMC I know I won’t be able to get out of my mind for a long time.. dark, damaged, and delicious is my favourite combo, and his filthy mouth had even me blushing.
My only gripe? I wanted more. At just a couple hours of reading time, everything moves fast and I’d have loved a little more build-up in parts. But honestly? The quick pace makes it the perfect “one-sitting, feral vibe” read.
It’s fast. It’s furious. It’s filthy.
And I already need book two yesterday.

This story slammed its foot on the pedal and kept on going without stopping. From the first pages I was gripped and unable to put this book down. From the beginning these two were both fierce and even dangerous . Oh the spicy scenes were oh so nice. I loved the dirty talk for sure.They were made for one another both from different upbringings. Neither sides of their families wanted them together but it didn’t matter. When kanes dad pulls a power move over him I about threw my phone at the wall and hurl at the same time. I can’t wait to see what happens next . Im truly intrigued

Jessica and Kane are pure fire. Their banter sizzles, and that rich-boy, poor-girl tension is 🤌🏽💋. I devoured this book. The way Jessica takes control and Kane just melts had me addictt. Their chemistry erupts the second they’re on the page together.
