I unhinged my jaw and swallowed this book whole. Another five-star banger, as if I expected anything less. This one felt so different from other books I’ve read by HB, which just proves again that this woman has serious range, she can truly do it all.👏🏻

The opening scene had me fucking gaggggeeddddd. That power dynamic? I was literally kicking my feet. The moment she pulled out the gun and straddled him, I said, “Oh, this is gonna be my motherfucking girl,” and SHE WAS. 🤭

This book was ridiculously hot. The tension was too damn good. The push and pull between these two is straight-up addicting, the chemistry is unreal. The way they’re going back-and-forth stealing orgasms from each other. FERALLL. Jessica steals a one from him so of course he has to steal one back while he’s driving his $3 million car. WOOF WOOF

I love a poor/rich dynamic, especially when the FMC is from the wrong side of the tracks. They’re always strong-willed baddies who don’t take shit from anyone. Jessica is playing hard to get and I was cheering her on because the harder she plays, the harder Kane falls and I was eating it up. MAKE HIM BEG FOR IT SIS WE LOVE TO SEE IT

Kane, Kane, Kane… let me tell you about my new obsession. This man radiates big dick energy. His expressions, the way he moves, the way he talks, the way he literally leans against a wall the control, the confidence. THE LIST GOES ON. And don’t even get me started on the fact that he races cars, has money, and is a total softy for his mom. Like, are you kidding?? The total package.
( he also has a couple nicknames for her which I love because why are we just settling for one?)

And the tropes?? Every single trope I love ( I’m a little rat for primal) AND we threw in a secret society? I was fully fed. I flew through this book. I was thinking about it all day. I couldn’t put it down and literally sped home just to finish it. I genuinely don’t know if I have the strength to wait for the next book. Besides the plot and the spice being literally immaculate, I just have to talk about how good the pacing felt for such a short book. I was invested from the third page. This is the definition of a binge worthy book.

Also, the side characters?? I’m digging every single one, and I’m already so intrigued by several of them. I need this to become a whole world. This might be one of my new favorite things. I LOVE IT HERE. Usually I take a minute to gather my thoughts and compose a put together review, but I hope you guys can tell from how chaotic this is that it’s just genuine natural excitement after JUST finishing it.😂😂


My highlights went CRAZYYYY for a book that’s only 131 pages 😂😂 I may or may not have highlighted something on every single page…..

The first few chapters were FIRE!!! (Reversed) power play, a gun, calling him a good boy?! Wow I was sat! And the story flew after that. I just love a man obsessed!
There wasn't much plot and I haven't learn much about anything yet. And I can't wait for the next books.
Also, why was the ending so abrupt?? The book is only around 160 pages and it would make sense to make it longer and give us more of the story.

okayyyyy this has me intrigued 👀

we have a town divided into rich (the heights) and the falls (the poor) Jessica is from the falls, and she breaks into onto the founding families homes one night to steal as she needs money for her mothers healthcare, and Kane Ravencourt catches her, it follows the typical formula of a mystery girl who gets away and Kane becomes obsessed. He comes from one of the founding families, where they are elitist/secret society vibes and what Kane and his twin brother have to endure in the society is superrr dark

Is it super insta lust? Yes. Yes it is 😂 it jumps right into the spice there isn’t really much tension, but the underlying plot and the vibes is really good
We also have street racing/street car vibes where the rich/poor race against each other which Jessica’s brother is also part of to try and make money
Despite only being 150 pages we’ve already got some depth and back story to the characters and I feel like it’s set up the second book well

There’s lots of spice and kinks in this I definitely would’ve preferred more tension since these two are literally going at it from the start so you do have to suspend your beliefs but it’s got all the good dark romance tropes 😏

Трохи забагато імен на таку кількість сторінок, я не запам'ятала, хто куди відноситься і кому ким приходиться 😁. Але вірю, що далі буде легше.
Хімія між гг, це кабзда 🫠. Моменти, коли домінує вона, набагато більш хот 🔥, ніж коли він їй брудні словєчкі накидує і каже "ти моя".

I won’t lie. This one gave me severe whiplash. There were moments where I asked myself wtf is happening. I questioned the plot. Scenes were wrapped up quickly. We went from zero to 100 real quick with the spice that again gave me whiplash. Our FMC was a bit of a domme, which pop off queen. Like who doesn’t wanna hold a rich boy at gun point while you call him a good boy and order him to jack off? At the end of the day I vibed with this one and idk what that says about me… 🫣👀

Хочу продовження! Мені дуже сподобався розвиток стосунків Джессіки та Кейна. Цікаво, хто кого🥵 Тут є вайби дарк-роману: вуличні перегони, багатий одержимий хлопець і бідна дівчина.

Фінал узагалі…😱🤯 Ну дуже неочікуваний🫣

І мені здається, що за цією книгою вийшов би ідеальний тікток серіал 😁 Вона просто ідеально підходить під такий формат.

A fast paced read.

Jessica is from the other side of town, living with her drunk father, her sister and older brother, their mother is in a hospice and they are struggling to make ends meet. Jessica, comes up with a plan however, she didn’t expect getting caught and by none other than the owners son. She doesn’t back down as he tries to corner her. From here on out we are drawn into the push pull tête à tête which leads to some conflict of interests and 🌶️. What will happen when their two worlds collide?

SO DANG GOOOOOD!!! Finished this in one sitting. I think I highlighted the entire book. The amount of times my cheeks were FLUSHED 🤭😮‍💨 that beginning scene had my jaw on the floooor. She really did that hehe. The power shifts. The little scene in the woods. I luvvvvv fast cars so I enjoyed the little street race and sports car aspect. SO EXCITED FOR #2

I went into this expecting a quick dark romance hit, but I was hooked from the very first chapter. Jessica is a fierce, determined heroine fighting to keep her world from falling apart, and Kane is the dangerously magnetic heir who should be her worst mistake… but absolutely isn’t.

Their dynamic is everything I love in dark romance.. forbidden, tense, unbalanced in the best way, and full of power plays and heat. The chemistry between them crackles off the page. Kane, in particular, had me blushing and laughing in equal measure with how bold he is.
For a 120-page novella, it packs so much: corruption, tension, street-racing vibes, primal energy, and a world I instantly wanted more of. And that CLIFFHANGER? I was not prepared. I already need the next book!!!

If you love fast-paced, addictive dark romance with a strong FMC and a MMC who is one step away from feral, Fatal Collision is a must-read!

I genuinely can't express how much I absolutely loved this. The angst, the tension, the rich boy x poor girl, the EVERYTHING. Needless to say the opposites were definitely attracting.

I genuinely don't know who I wanted to be more. Jessica definitely put Kane in his place multiple times (this woman got him off WHILE HOLDING HIM AT GUN POINT, need I say more?). Then our baby Kane, that man has me so down bad it's not even funny. All I need everyone to read chapter 8 and you will get it. 🤭

Even tho it's short, it's such a a great introduction to what's to come. Harleigh is an auto read author for me and best believe I will be first in line to the next one. 🖤

DNF at 58%. Just not hooked. I liked that the heroine was the dom and got the upper hand, but the chemistry/smut was not strong enough to make the story work, the plot felt juvenile, flat pacing. I really like the author’s work when she focuses on horror/paranormal erotica. I’ll keep supporting the author but am really hoping I enjoy their works again some day.
