Whispering Grove #5

Tangled In Tinsel & Knots: An Omegaverse Romance

Rate this book
I kissed the wrong Santa. Now he wants to make my name on the naughty list permanent.

Cornered beneath the mistletoe with a creepy coworker closing in, I grabbed the nearest Santa for a quick-escape kiss.

Big mistake.

Because the man behind the fake beard wasn’t the cheerful volunteer I’d thought he was. He was one of the infamous bounty hunters who live on the outskirts of Whispering Grove.

The kind who can track anyone, anywhere.

And the kiss? Way more than friendly.

It left me hot and bothered… and my coworker green with Grinch-level envy.

Now he’s trying to steal the business out from under me and kicking me out of my home while he’s at it.

My only shot at saving my dream? Three dangerously sexy bounty hunters who offer a deal I can’t refuse. They’ll help me fight back and give me a place to stay in their sprawling mansion, reindeer included.

Between late-night planning sessions, hot glances, and hands that linger a little too long, I’m starting to wonder if the real danger isn’t losing my career but falling for three men who could wreck my heart as easily as they take down criminals.

I’ve landed on someone’s naughty list.

I just never expected to like it so much.

This standalone RH Omegaverse holiday romance blends sinful heat with small-town magic, delivering playful danger, found family, and irresistible temptation. Perfect for readers who want their Christmas lights tangled with scandal, smoldering chemistry, and three heroes worth unwrapping.

This is a Whispering Grove novel.

Tangled In Tinsel And Knots is book five in the Whispering Grove series. The books are standalone and can be read in any order.

Hannah is branching out from the family bakery to realize her dream of event planning. Everything is going according to plan to establish her business. Until her co-worker pushes her boundaries, takes rejection badly, and sets out to ruin what she’s worked so hard for.

Chris, Kane, and Noel are instantly smitten with Hannah. They know she’s their scent match and they won’t let anyone hurt their skittish omega.

This book had several laugh out loud moments, great banter, and lovable characters. The guys are classic book boyfriends with protectiveness, charm, and a little kick-butt bounty hunter pizazz thrown in. A fun holiday read.

Hannah makes a quick decision to kiss a strange yet handsome Santa to avoid her sleazy partner at a holiday party she planned. While her partner threatens to ruin her career, the Santa turns out to be the best Christmas gift ever. He and his two pack mates are Hannah's scent matches, and they'll do anything to prove to her she should be with them. She finds herself falling for the pack, but her career is on the line, and someone keeps sabotaging her events. Will Hannah be able to hold on to her career and find her happily ever after too?

This is a fun and spicy holiday reverse harem Omegaverse romance. I love the books in this series as they're light-hearted and steamy, but this is one of my favorites. It's full of Christmas events and reindeer. Yes, the Alphas own a reindeer farm, and Corn Dog the mischievous reindeer is my hero. Hannah is smart and determined, but her partner is completely awful. Good thing her Alphas are bounty hunters. And how she meets the first one, Chris, ooh, I was grinning and hooked. These men will do anything for her and they left me swooning.

We are back in Whispering Grove with Hannah this time. I absolutely loved this story. I honestly think Corn Dog was my absolutely favorite throughout the story. Hannah is trying to grow her business when all the problems you can think start to happen. We meet Chris, Kane, and Noel having to deal with Lily due to them catching a bounty outside the bakery. The chemistry between Hannah and the guys is fantastic and felt throughout the story. This one had me laughing so hard at times. It is a really fun read that pulled me in right from the very beginning and didn’t let go. It is beautifully written and developed. The characters are amazingly developed and they feel
Ike friends that you are walking alongside of them in their journey. I absolutely loved the ending. It is an absolute fantastic read.

Every single time, the favorite part of this author’s omegaverses is how the story starts. She’s one of the few authors out there who manage to pull me in with the very first chapter, and not once, but with every book she writes. “Tangled in Tinsel and Knots” has a wonderful meet-cute between Hannah and her scent match Chris, and I fell in love with the two of them right there.

Honestly, big strong scary men who are putty in their woman’s hands will always be my guilty pleasure, and this series of standalones provides them on a silver platter. But add a few cute animals to the mix and the comfort read is complete! This standalone has all the elements to be the perfect romantic comedy, and it fits in with the Christmas movies that pop up on tv right now. It’s comfortable, makes you laugh and ends with a satisfying smile on your face.

To avoid her creepy business partner Hannah (FMC) kisses Santa. Which inadvertently led her partner into doing everything that he could to sabotage any events/work that she has planned. Only Santa - Chris and his friends/pack are Bounty Hunters and also her scent matches too. Bringing in all sorts of steamy scenarios but also lots of funny ones too including a Houdini llama - Corn Dog. Who was hilarious. All of which came together to make for a great read.

I don’t think I’ve laughed so much at a book in a very long time. Corndog is the absolute best thing to happen to the winter/christmas genre. Of course I fell in love with all the MCs but Corndog really stole the show. I kept seeing this in ads on Facebook and the teasers did not prepare me for the amount of times I cackled at the guys and the lengths they were willing to go to for the FMC. The costumes, lack of costumes…my goodness, definitely worth the read during the holidays or not. I can’t wait to read the next book by Harley Knight.

Hannah is working on getting her dream career up and running, but her coworker is actively working against her. In comes Chris, Kane, and Noel, who were guilted into helping Hannah. Their compatibility is unquestionable, but Hannah is still scared. Gotta love big, burly bounty hunters who will do anything for their mate! Funny and spicy with a bit of suspense. I love this town, and I love all the characters in it!

I loved Hannah's story! It was just what I needed too! Overall, this was a sweet read. It had a great mix of humor, spice, and plot.
In addition, there was drama, emotional moments, and lots of Christmas fun.
Hannah made a great FMC. She was smart and determined.
I loved Chris, Kane, and Noel. I will forever love Corn Dog too!!

Gave up after the candy cane scene. All I could think was oh great why yes give her a yeast infection....
I found the book to be too drawn out and boring.

This book was wayyyyy too long. I normally am all for it but this felt so long and drug out and I was praying for it to end. The FMC was annoying and immature. The Alphas seemed okay. I felt like it was to insta love. Also once again I didn’t feel like this was an omega verse.

Harley Knight is my favorite omegaverse author. There, I said it. I actually picked a favorite, and it's her. I had an amazing time reading Tangled in Tinsel and Knots. There were so many great moments. The first scene with the reindeer was hilarious. I just about died laughing. The family dinner drama, and so many more. Hannah has made her appearances in the previous books, mainly being known as Lily's (previous MFC) sister. Now it's her turn. I loved Hannah. Like Lily, she has a fantastic banter game. In fact, the banter between her, Lily, and the guys was everything. It made the book even better.

Let's talk, guys. Chris, Noel, and Kane (appropriate theme names, haha) are bounty hunters. However, underneath that tough-guy shell, they're nothing but sweethearts, especially when it comes to anything Hannah-related. They're also very possessive and put Hannah on notice right away that she was theirs. I know, right?

Who knew that event planning and bounty hunters would make such an entertaining storyline? It was all chaos, filled with festive decorations and fun events. There were criminals, a little undercover work (haha), and a spurned alpha. There was even an adorable chaos gremlin of a reindeer. The story was fantastic! The twist totally took me by surprise, and the ending had all the warm family feels. I had an amazing time with Tangled in Tinsel and Knots. I absolutely loved the humor. It really was a lot of fun. There was a hint of a little mystery towards the end that I'm hoping is a clue for the next book. I can't wait.

𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐭

I genuinely loved everything about this Christmas themed stand-alone.

For starters— the main protagonists were all so enduring and likeable with chemistry that worked like Christmas magic (pun intended). Hannah's burdens and struggles were so compelling and realistic that you can't help but feel happy for her that she's found her hea. And who doesn't love capable and dangerous men who do anything to help their lady- even if that means dressing in an elf costume that is sizes too small? 😂

Plotwise, despite there being little to no drama, the author writes in a way that keeps you on your toes and keeps the story plenty entertaining and eventful. From the first meet between Hannah and Chris to putting on a stripper show to save a bachelorette party, there wasn't a single moment where I was bored.

And just because this stand-alone is lighthearted and fun, that doesn't mean the heat takes a back seat. Oh, no, the spice did not dissapoint at all!

Overall, this stand-alone was such a fun, cute, and entertaining read. It's perfect if you want to take a break from reading heavier/darker things.

👍 𝙒𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙛:

- you like a fun and lighthearted story
- you're okay with low drama and no over the top tension
- you're okay with 1 dubcon scene

This Christmas, we’re celebrating all the laughs, packs, heats, and fun-filled chaos that make life so great—and Tangled in Tinsel & Knots by Harley Knight absolutely delivered!
This omegaverse why choose is everything I hoped for and more. Harley Knight’s character development is phenomenal, and seeing familiar faces from earlier books was pure genius. Every time a character I already loved showed up, I got ridiculously excited.
What really stood out to me was the way the boys show up for Lilly—through both actions and words. They consistently reassure her that loving them (and letting them love her) doesn’t mean losing her agency or identity. The romance is incredibly sweet, the steam is perfectly balanced, and when you add in the mystery element, it becomes a truly delicious holiday read.
Lilly is working tirelessly to make her dream a reality, and one of her biggest events is finally happening—until three alpha bounty hunters arrest her Santa right before it begins. Chris, Noel, and Kane are just doing their jobs… but the determined little omega who chases them down completely rocks their world. Chris’s sacrifice to save Lilly’s event is laugh-out-loud hilarious and steamy in the best possible way.
And can we talk about the chapter right before the epilogue?! The drama. I was on the edge of my seat. I won’t spoil anything, but there are some serious secrets being kept, and I am absolutely dying to know what happens next.
If you love omegaverse romance with heart, heat, humor, and a holiday twist—this one needs to be on your TBR ASAP. 🎁🔥

Tangled In Tinsel and Knots: A Whispering Grove Novel is a captivating festive omegaverse by Harley Knight. Hannah is partnered with Scott to take over an event planning company. However when Scott doesn't take no for an answer when she's under the mistletoe she desperately reaches out to Santa, only to find a stranger that is her scent match. It's no surprise when Scott starts sabotaging her work but what is a surprise is when the three bounty hunters she's scent matched step up to do whatever they can to save her reputation. Will she be able to beat Scott and prove she has what it takes to run the business or will his plotting destroy everything she's worked so hard for?
This was a great read with plenty of laughs as somehow Hannah's bounty hunters keep crossing paths with her business. Also there is a mischievous reindeer named Corn Dog that totally made me wish I lived in the north and could own reindeer just for the comedic value. Despite a$$hole Scott, overall this is a fun read and I liked how Hannah handled everything, she was cautious but didn't panic and push them away. There's also some wonderful chemistry and super spicy scenes that somehow Knight finds a way to lighten. The holiday theme worked perfectly for this story.
If you enjoy why-choose omegaverses with themes of protective alphas that will do anything for their omega, omegas, he@ts, scent matches, comedy, suspense, found family, forced proximity, Christmas, and plenty of spice this you absolutely must read Tangled In Tinsel and Knots for Christmas this year!

Plot: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

We’re back in the Whispering Grove universe. We’ve got our MFC, Hannah! This is Lily’s sister, and I was so anticipating her book! She was a baker with her sister, and then decided to follow her passion, which included event planning!

Enter our MMC’s who are Kane, Noel, and Chris. They’re Bounty Hunters who end up taking Hannah’s Santa into custody, and Chris is then volunteered to play Santa. During a situation at one of her events with her co-worker, she runs into Chris, and he helps her out of the situation!

I will say this is honestly my favorite way a book is done, is when the characters are dead set on committing from the start. Noel is serious and grumpy, but soft and sweet just for her. Chris is like a golden retriever. I loved him so much. Last but not least, Kane, I loved him equally with the others. I just wish he had more book time!

Other than that, I recommend this heavily if you want a soft, low angst cozy omegaverse. I was giggling, kicking my feet throughout the whole book. (especially whenever Hannah was trying to climb the gate, and it started opening on her). Read this. Now. You won’t regret it.

🌟I received an ARC to provide my honest review and opinion on this book. 🌟

I've said this a few times in my reviews, but I can be fairly picky with Omegaverse stories. Too much slick (I know this is a trend in OV), and I'm usually out, but Whispering Grove has just the right amount to not make me call it quits.

Hannah is an unmated Omega; her sister runs the family bakery, but Hannah wants to branch out on her own path and be an events coordinator. She has a deal with the owner she is working for, if she can prove herself, than her and her co-worker will get equal ownership of it. What Hannah doesn't realise is that her co-worker doesn't want her to succeed; in fact, he will do anything to make her fail.

When he gets a little handsy at a Christmas party Hannah has organised, she turns to Santa, who she believes is someone else and well after that the rest is history. It turns out the man she kissed is a bounty hunter, part of a team of three who also happen to be her scent matches.

The story is really entertaining, and I have to give a shout-out to Corndog, the most hilarious animal you will ever meet. He causes all sorts of chaos throughout the story, and he's just so lovable. There's enough spice going on to keep you satisfied and even a twist at the end of the story that even I wasn't expecting.

Tangled in Tinsel & Knots by Harley Knight is a delightful romp through the festive season, blending humor, romance, and the chaos that often accompanies holiday preparations. The story revolves around the main character, who finds herself in a whirlwind of mishaps and misunderstandings while trying to create the perfect Christmas celebration.

Knight’s writing is sharp and witty, capturing the essence of the holiday spirit while also poking fun at the pressures that often come with it. Michelle’s journey is relatable, filled with moments of both laughter and frustration as she navigates family dynamics, unexpected guests, and the challenges of love during the busiest time of the year.

The characters are well-developed and the chemistry between the main characters is so sweet and engaging. Knight artfully incorporates themes of community and togetherness, reminding readers of the true meaning of the holidays beyond the commercial aspects.

The pacing is brisk, with a series of events that keep the reader entertained, and the balance of comedic situations and heartfelt moments creates a delightful reading experience. The book is laced with vivid descriptions of holiday decorations and settings that make the festive atmosphere come alive.

Tangled in Tinsel and knots was such an enjoyable story to read. Set in a little town called Whispering Grove where we'll meet three hot bounty hunters, some naughty reindeer. And the loveable Hannah who's trying to bild a career. And thanks to her sister Lily. Hannah will meet Chris, Noel and Kane. Who were funny, protective with a touch of touch her and die vibe going on. Alphas who'll cherish and knew how to treat Hannah right. It had the right kind of spice and boy dose it get creative with her guys and I'll never look at a candy Kane the same way again. I love how this story made me laugh and not knowing what to expect next. What with her guys getting in the most funniest situation and there reindeer Corn dog Who just always seemed to get into so mush trouble and her guys running around to stop him. But of cause there's always the bad guy and I'm so glad she had her guys helping her every step of the way. And Hannah was such a loving character who cared about her family but found it hard to leave work behind so I loved how the guys took the time and didn't rush her into anything she wasn't ready for. And giving her a swoon worthy ending that I just loved.

Omegaverse scent matches

Hannah meets Chris first, kisses him in a desperate attempt to avoid her drunk business partner she's turned down repeatedly, it's hot and he steps in to save her when the partner gets jealous and mouthy. Chris knows immediately she's his scent match, she doesnt seem to.
Then she meets his two friends, neither of them say that she is their scent mate in their internal monologues but they're a pack so it's odd at first since they should have the same omega scent match.
Noel spends a day alone with her, the Kane helps her and they all know she's their scent match. Hannah is trying to build her business reputation and her partner cuts her out, she's stressed and has to prove herself in order to keep her business all while the ex partner tries sabotaging her.
Her men step up and help her all while proving their commitment to her.
The spice is 3/5 tame but sexy. There is a hilarious reindeer named Corndog, I laughed and swooned.
Nothing made me cry, the climax was more about her business than her relationship and all wrapped up in a HEA.
Light sweet read.

This was such a cute holiday Omegaverse book.

The Whispering Grove series of Omegaverse books are all great reads. While there are some reappearances of side characters, this is definitely a standalone and can be read on its own. Although, the other books are all good, too, so you should just read them as well!

Hannah, the FMC in this book, is such a well done character. She is an omega and she may be a little bit lonely and envious of her little sister that has found a pack, but she is independent and working hard to get her business off the ground. She is surrounded by chaos throughout this story, but handles it all magnificently. She is funny and sarcastic, and an absolutely amazing character.

Chris, Kane and Noel are all awesome characters as well. I feel like they were a special kind of alpha, and exactly written to provide Hannah what she needed. The star of this book though was Corn Dog. He was the cutest little reindeer that provided a ton of laughter throughout the book. He was also 100% supportive of Hannah, making him a perfect packmate as well.

This was an absolute joy to read!

Mistaken Identify Santa Meet Cute
I love these books since there's no 3rd act breakup and the alphas in Harley Knights books will do anything for their omega. You've got a career dedicated woman who doesn't want anything to stand in the way of her career. Enter a scent match meet cute while trying to escape a sleezy guy and it's a pack match made in heaven. After Hannah's sleezy business partner ends her work and her apartment lease, she's up a creek, but her newly found scent matches won't let her fail. Even though they were the bounty hunters that almost ruined her event by arresting Santa in the first place. So one of them steps in to help and gets kissed by Hannah under the mistletoe. It's love at first lip lock for him. Only, Hannah needs to work on her career, she's got a few events to get through without anything going wrong. Including her little sidekick, the adorable Corn Dog (I always love a zany animal).

In a book world that is becoming increasingly inundated in Omegaverse offerings, I am a huge fan of this author and Whispering Grove. This Christmas, we're for as many laughs as we are packs, heats, and all the fun things.

Lilly's working hard to make her dream come true. One of her biggest events is taking place that afternoon, and three alpha bounty hunters arrest her Santa! Chris, Noel, and Kane are just doing their job, but the little Omega that chases them down sets them rocking. Chris's sacrifice to save Lilly's event is not only hilarious, it's steamy in the best ways.

I love all the little ways the boys show up for Lilly and through actions and words reassure her that loving them and letting them love her wouldn't mean her losing agency or identity. The sweetness of the romance combined with the steam already paired for a great read. Throw in the mystery and solving of, and readers have a tasty holiday read!

I will die on the hill that Corn Dog was the MVP. The Hero without a cape. The entire book could have been terrible, and he would have saved it. However, the book was actually fantastic. The characters are well written, there’s suspense, brooding, relatable characters, relatable problems(ish), and the book draws you in from the first page.
I adored how at every turn, and every problem, the solution was the same. The guys saved the day. Even when you started to suspect it would be what happened, it still was written so well you couldn’t help but feel just as relieved as Hannah when she lived through it. Along with her other feelings sometimes.
It had the cozy mystery feel, where you kind of guess what’s going on for some of it, but you still WANT to read it. Even want more of it, bc the book ended too soon for my liking. Even though it had a great ending, i was still sad to see the end.

I have been waiting for Hannah’s story ever since her sister found her pack in book one, and it was so worth the wait! Watching Hannah find joy in her dream job of event planning was wonderful. While it hurt to see someone trying to sabotage her hard work, it definitely paved the way for some truly hilarious and chaotic scenes.

And can we talk about these Alphas? I am obsessed with the holiday pun names—Chris, Noel, and Kane! How can you not love a festive read with names like those? But don't let the names fool you; these guys are dangerous bounty hunters with rough edges who just happen to be absolutely smitten with Hannah. Watching these tough guys wear Santa suits and tights just to make her happy had me laughing until my stomach hurt.

However, the real star of the show might be their reindeer, Corn Dog. I love a chaotic animal sidekick that refuses to listen, and Corn Dog is officially my favorite character. If you’re looking for an addicting, funny, and spicy holiday read, Harley Knight delivered. I can’t wait for more from this universe!

This had me hooked from the start! From bounty hunters turned event helpers, a chaotic reindeer called corn dog and a perfect plot for a romcom, it has everything you could want in a christmas omegaverse! I loved that the story telling and relationship development were at the forefront of this book and we had meaningful spicy scenes, not just put in to flesh out the book. It took Hannah a long time to trust her new alphas but they proved themselves dedicated and stayed true to their vow to always protect her! The funny scenes throughout involving corndog with Chris, Kane and Noel was just the cherry on top, adored the funny amongst the chaos of Hannah's ex business partner causing trouble here and there. I can't recommend this standalone enough, it was such a great read to get you in the mood for a christmas romance!

I absolutely loved Hannah’s story!

An event planner who keeps hitting snags and bumps in the road with her latest events. And when a Santa can no longer perform his duties, another man steps in and changes the course of her life.

Now she has thee Alpha’s….and a very funny reindeer, who had invaded her life & she’s not exactly mad about it.

But now she also has to deal with the fact that her previous employer/partner is trying to shut her out of the business. Even by means of sabotage.

Her three Alpha’s step up to help her every time something guys which only endears them to her more.

This was a sweet & very funny book. I think I fell in love with Corn Dog too. He was character all by himself.

I absolutely loved this book & am very excited to see what comes next.

Amazing job!

I've been looking forward to Hannah's story after reading Lily's story in, Knotting with a Stranger. After supporting her younger sister and her bakery, Hannah has ventured out to conquer her dream as an event planner. When her creepy business partner won't take no for an answer and tries to trap her under the mistletoe, Hannah grabs the nearest Santa for a quick kiss. That quick kiss turns into a scent match that leads to meeting the pack and there ensues the adventure.

The MMCs are bounty hunters with plenty of experience dealing with criminals, but confronted with their scent match Omega, they become so gooey and sweet. This funny, heartwarming read begs for a side of hot chocolate while reading. This book can be read as a standalone and it will have you running back to read the books in this interconnected series. Definitely recommend!

I am sorry but i have to give it only 2 stars. It was funny, it was nice to read but there are the main issues i had:
-losing track of who are doing what. Like when it was two people doing something and then wrong name was used.
-her Alphas caging her for flirting and undressing her after she told them she dont want to take off anything else cuz shes tired. Like, Scot was putting pressure at her and they know it but still they did the same but its fine cuz they are her Alphas and are sexy as sin. Well, to me it was a little bit too much after what was going on with Scot.
-i think that this was the biggest problem i had. Stop putting food in your finechina. Like, really? All that sugar? This is Just... Do not put Maple syrup or sugar canes for your intimate places because you will get health problems faster than you think.
