Last with Us: Endure, Survive: The Everyday Survival Bible for Regular People

Rate this book
We live in an age of convenience. Water at the tap, food on the shelves, power at the switch. It feels unshakable — until it isn't. When the lights go out or the trucks stop rolling, most people are left helpless. You won't be one of them.

This book is your path from dependence to competence. Follow my lead, and step by step you'll master the clean water, safe heat, wholesome food, repair, care, and resilience. These are not ancient secrets or heroic feats. They are simple, practical skills that anyone can learn — and that too many have forgotten.

The best case? Nothing happens, and you've gained knowledge that makes everyday life richer. The worst case? You'll be prepared, calm, and capable when others panic. Either way, you win.

Do not delay. Do not fail yourself. Turn the page, take the first step, and discover what it feels like to be ready. You will endure. You will survive. And you'll be proud you started today.

Harry Hunter is the pen name of a retired academic who lives in Ayrshire, Scotland. Most of his writing has a spiritual flavour to them.

Harry's first collection of short stories - Taking the High Road - takes place in the fictitious coastal village of Kilfinnan on the West Coast of Scotland. It centres on Sam and Penny Waite, leading members of the local Episcopal church, who have recently re-located from the English Midlands. Although a collection of 'fiction shorts', there is an cohesive 'arc' to the narrative.

Having experimented with a variety of formats, Harry discovered that many readers really liked his 'acrostic' poems - so in 2017 he published a collection of these called 'Orrible 'Ooligans.

Details of these books and more - including many short pieces which can be freely used for church magazines - can be found at Harry's website:
