This book really helped me to understand that all my feelings and everything that I have been going through since the loss of my daughter is normal. Debra explains in this book that there is no time limit on grief and grieving, every person deals with it differently. There are also lots of great advice on how to heal and move on with life. It not only covers deaths but it goes over different types of grieving that people go through, job loss, divorce, aging, lost friendships and more things that I never realized people grieved over. It is a very enlightening and helpful book for anyone that suffers any kind of loss.

This is a very BASIC overview to grieving, and frankly not very helpful. The book reiterates in every chapter that #1) grief is different for everyone #2) feel your feelings #3) you don't know how long it will last #4) take care of yourself.
