Coco’s chaotic life just got wilder. After multiple painful miscarriages, she’s finally given birth to two healthy twin boys. But there were complications —each baby has a different father.Between past lovers, buried truths, and a storm of emotions, Coco must trace the threads of passion, pain, and secrets that led her here… and decide what kind of woman—and mother—she truly wants to be.
Lemme clutch my pearls this one was everywhere in the best and most chaotic way. From the jump, life does not let Coco breathe. After enduring the heartbreak of multiple miscarriages, she finally gets her miracle two healthy baby boys. However Karma said hold my purse the complication nobody saw coming. Two fathers. At that point I just sat back like okay, let’s see how deep this rabbit hole goes.
The connections had me clutching my chest because why is everybody tied to everybody? Zero degrees of separation for real. Old decisions, teenage choices, buried secrets everything came back knocking. It really felt like Coco was paying some long overdue karma, especially tied to that early situation with Jack. Nothing felt random, even when it felt messy.
Emotionally, this book was heavy. Trauma, grief, desire, guilt, love all tangled up together. Coco is flawed, impulsive and human, and that’s what kept me locked in. Every time I thought “ain’t no way something else can happen,” something else absolutely did happen. This story keeps you on edge, questioning motives, timing and how much of our present is shaped by who we used to be.
Messy, dramatic, interconnected and stress inducing in that I can’t stop reading kind of way. By the end I was side eyeing everybody and still ready to turn the page. This one definitely keeps your mind spinning.

amazing book. short read and kept my attention until the end. Where is book 3?
@author.antonia royal whitmore…come to the front of the class. Nine Inches delivers an addictive, emotionally charged ride that’s equal parts messy, bold, and impossible to put down. Antonia Royal Whitmore crafts an amazing storyline with a sharp plot twist that hits hard then, has the nerve to leave you hanging when you least expect it. Coco’s chaotic life only gets wilder after enduring multiple painful miscarriages and finally giving birth to healthy twin boys. What follows is a storm of buried truths, past lovers, and raw emotion that forces Coco to confront her choices and redefine who she is as a woman and a mother. Whitmore doesn’t shy away from complicated love, grief, or desire, and that honesty is what makes the story so gripping. Just be warned: the ending will have you equal parts satisfied and shouting, “How could you stop there?”
This was a quick read and the end left me hanging. I was looking for the 3rd installment. Please don’t leave us hanging, Coco needs to wake up cause I want to know how Zion & Kourtney handle this situation. The twins with different fathers, OMG!!! When they say live your life, Coco was living her life…dang!!!
On another note: Kourtney is something. How you the therapist to your secret lover’s boyfriend, the potential twins daddy. I was floored with this one. And why I had a feeling Jack was his father.
The drama of the first book and the second was a lot. Come on book 3, I’m ready to dive in.
First off this second book repeated a lot of the first book. Yes it gave me some extra information, but not enough. The ending definitely had me spiraling like girl???!!!! I would have enjoyed this if this was a whole book storyline top-tier, but I’m not giving them more than two stars.
Okay book. My issue is the book kept going backwards into the things we read in the first book. So when you get to the end it just felt like I wasted time re reading a book even though it’s a new book. Then you’re left with a cliffhanger. A book with a cliffhanger that doesn’t give you new story is ridiculous.
I just knew it couldn’t get any worse and boy was I surprised. Sis just couldn’t get right. Then not only did she sleep with her therapist her boyfriend was seeing the same therapist. Then to add insult to injury her therapist father is her friend Nola’s father like ma’am can you be anymore messy.. I’m patiently waiting for part 3 while I clutch my pearls…👀👀👀
This book was like he first one. Gurl your own game is amazing and I can’t wait to see if you make another one. This book I read at work and dis usher in no time. I love a book that is captivating from beginning to end and this was it. Thank you for part 2
The cliffhanger!!! Was waiting for this to drop and she definitely snapped!! It’s short but baby she got to the point and had me shook at the end because WHAT?!
The things Coco gets herself into are absolutely nuts. This book kinda takes a step back from where the 1st book ended and gives a little more background to how she ended up in the predicament she was in at the end of the first book. I was shocked again at the end of this book. I can't wait for part 3.
Oh my f'ing geez!!!!! One thing I've learned about this author is to never get comfortable with whats going on. She loves bringing people and things in full circle and connecting dots that you would not suspect. I need book 3 as so as tomorrow ma'am thanks in advance. I loved books 1 and 2.
Same Book. Different Font. The whole story was just flashbacks of the original story with some new perspectives. Then had the nerve to end with a cliffhanger? The original cliffhanger was never even squared away. Great writer but this was not enjoyable.
I knew it!!! That’s all imma say 🤣 This book was very entertaining. You never know what journey Coco will take us through 😅 I’m very curious to see how all of this plays out 🫢
This book just went more into detail with what was going on with the first book. If you don't read this one, you won't miss too much as it repeats alot of the first book.
