This was one of my 2017 daily reading books. The book starts off strong, with wise and pithy quotes from some of the world's great thinkers. Each page consists of a full page photo, with a Tip for the day as well as a Quote. The pictures are nice, but I didn't use any of them for computer wallpaper.

My sense was that the author came up with very strong material for the first 60% of the book, and then perhaps ran out of steam. It almost felt that the last third of the book was produced by people sitting around a table trying to invent "wise sayings" or tips. Plus, there were numerous spelling errors and some grammatical issues as well. Yesterday, the "quote" and the "tip" were identical. ("Make patience your biggest virtue. Some things will only happen in due time.") There was no text per se, so no cutting and pasting quotes from the book into my journal (but I didn't mind typing them.) No way to highlight favorite quotes, either.

Anyway, if you want a very short daily reading book this is the one.

I'm really enjoying this book. Every morning, after I take my moment with God reading my Bible, I read this book. It gives you a tip to do each day, then it gives you an accompanying quote. The tip is always something helpful to you the individual. Like one day it was to take deep breaths. Another day it was rubbing your palms then placing against your face to activate the nerves and pressure points. It's a calming technique that I really appreciated learning. The quotes are inspiring and true, like this one;

Take care of your body; it's the only place you have to live. - Jim Rohn.

So it's a great inspirational tool, as well as a great reminder to make the best out of each day. I am happy to do each morning, and it makes me feel good.
I managed to grab this copy for free on Amazon, what a score that was! Still I would pay for this one, and suggest you all check it out! Morning is what sets the pace for our day, so starting them off right can make for better days ahead.

A nice premise, but a little lacking in execution. I'm guessing that this was self-published. If it was not, then the publisher needs to get a better editor.

A motto and a quote over a pretty picture for each day. Not all the quotes go with the motto. The pictures are totally random. Not all the mottos are about mindfulness. A lot of the quotes are labelled anonymous when it is known full well who said it. Some quotes are attributed erroneously to those who never said them (Voltaire and ice-cream, I'm looking at you!). A lot of the mottos are ill-written and are often contradictory.

In other words, there is a lack of research and care about this little book. There are some great little gems buried in there though. Laughter yoga. This is a real thing. Looks interesting...

This book could really do with a scrub and a refresh before being really great. Two stars.

Meh...

The title, "Mindfulness: 365 Days of Mindfulness..." is misleading in that it leaves one under the impression that the book is filled with enlightened wisdom teachings from spiritual masters... Granted, there are a few tidbits, though most of the book is filled with generic fluff and unsophisticated mix-matched fonts more likely to inspire eye-rolling than deep thought, such that I deleted it from my device not 15 minutes after purchase.

It's a daily calendar in form of a book

Each day, starting with January 1, provides a positive quote, a mindfulness tip to do, & a picture to go along with the " theme of the day"

Quotes are provided by a large selection of many famous people

For me, it provides a surprise each day to look forward to :)

Not really what I would call mindfullnes, having read other mindfullnes books, and it should be called 364 days of mindfullnes as July 31st was missing. There are much better books that offer the same thing

I know it's supposed to be read daily, but I read through the entire book already. I am going to buy a hardcopy instead of borrowing it so I can read it daily in the morning. It gives a daily tip and quote to think about throughout the day.

The book was filled with spelling and grammar errors. Some of the thoughts were good, others not so much. The errors really detracted from it.

Needs Editing While the pictures were nice, the quotes inspirational, there were many that had grammatical and spelling errors. Needs to be edited.
