This is a strong resource for anyone preparing for the CISSP exam. The content is clearly organized, with thorough breakdowns and practice questions that make complex domains far more manageable. I especially appreciated how easy it was to jump between sections. It’s perfect for targeting weak spots instead of rereading material I already understood. Overall, this is a solid investment for serious CISSP candidates.

I do not recommend using this book as a sole resource for studying for the CISSP, which I realized early on into my studies. There is some information that is missing/should be expounded upon more, but this is a good starting point for knowing where you need to focus your attention. Most useful were the “think like a manager” sections at the end of every chapter, which help align the reader’s thinking with what the CISSP expects, as opposed to how a practitioner may approach the problem.

The Smart Method Plans save so much time, nothing more than 30 minutes a day made this insane. I liked how every domain had a TLAM section, it really changed how i viewed the whole exam. The visual summaries at the end of each domain are also an amazing part of this book. it focused on decision-making and risk management instead of deep technical stuff.
