Izzy aka Isabella, a event planner, has joined her best friend,Piper, in Maple Falls where Piper is starting her new nursing job. They are preparing to go to the local bar for some fun. She spots a man across the room. A night together at the inn with Damian before he disappears before she awakes the next morning. They had agreed to 'no last names' and 'no promises'. They both are shocked when they see each other as Izzy and Piper are moving into the house next door. Their interaction is fun to watch. What happens that they both get a big surprise? What will they both do good or bad? Is there a possible future? What is holding Damian back?.

Picture this. The house it totally quiet and it's just you with your kindle, this HOT romance read, Damian and Izzy (the characters) heating you up. This book will heat up even the coldest day ever. I have recently found Lana as an author and even though this is only my 4th book, I have read by her WOWZA her books are on FIRE. I have not only found anew author to me, but some of the absolute best romance books ever about HOT firemen.

THE NEXT-DOOR FIREFIGHTER is Book 5 of  the Maple Falls: Fire Department series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, grumpy-sunshine, one-night stand to more, close-proximity, surprise pregnancy, curvy girl gets her firefighter small town romance. Isabella "Izzy" is a curvy wedding planner who has just moved to town with her best friend to get a fresh start. Damian is a hunky, grumpy, broody firefighter with a fear of attachment. The two meet at a bar and have a hot one-night stand, only for Damian to be gone in the morning. Fast forward a few weeks and Izzy is moving into her new rental with her BFF, only to find out Damian is her neighbor. This couple had great chemistry, even though I wanted to smack Damian a few times to stop being a jerk. How will he react to the pregnancy? Luckily, they finally get on the same page and we get a happy ending for our couple.
