4 ✨Back to reading again fellas! This book was much needed. As someone who overthinks and is exposed to constant media commentary about my faith, my thoughts keep getting distorted with time. I reached a point where I can't even differentiate reality from buzz words. I really like how the book was short, to the point, and clearly honest. Mariana's journey is one of honesty , unbiasedness, and humbleness. She is clearly educated on the bible, history, Hebrew language, and Jesus's character. The clear similarity between the Quran and bible only reinforces how both faiths contain the same message/values at the end of the day.
I do wish Mariana covered more "misunderstandings" or "criticisms" raised by her environment before she reverted to islam. Overall, the book was very insightful. I think it provides one with basic information to at least see islam in a better light and for what it actually is and bridges roads between the two largest faiths on the plant: christianity and islam.
