They taught her how to burn. She taught them how to crave. And together, they made Hell tremble.
Lillien I was raised to forget the darkness that made me. When he found me, when they claimed me, I remembered what I am. I don’t run from monsters anymore. I feed them.
Deimos She’s mine. The moment I touched her, I knew. Hell can keep its throne. I’ll burn it all for her heartbeat.
Bastion She’s the fire that burned the ash out of my lungs. If the world says she’s forbidden, I’ll break the world.
Cassiel I swore I’d never fall. Angels don’t crave. Don’t need. Don’t sin. Then she looked at me, and every vow I ever made turned to ash.
Bound by blood and power, Lillien isn’t just dragged into a war. She is the war. A Warden of Hell wants to claim her and old magic stirs, hungry. And the men who love her may have to break kingdoms to keep her from being caged. Because when Hell wants you and you want more, there’s no such thing as mercy.
My god was this an amazing read. Watching Lillien find herself was amazing. She went for bada** to an even bigger bada**. When I tell you I’ve never loved an fmc so much I’m not lying. If you are wanting a book where the fmc doesn’t need any man to validate her or protect her but they do because they simply want to, not because she needs it, this is the read for you. Who wouldn’t want three demon boyfriends who would burn the world for her just because they can, not because she needs it.
Simply amazing and filthy, since she is a succubus after all!
A. Riebold’s Lustling is a sinful, seductive descent into temptation — a why choose paranormal romance that masterfully balances heat, heart, and hellfire. Following Lillien, Cassiel, Bastion, Deimos, and the dangerously possessive Zepharion, this story is a darkly addictive blend of desire, corruption, and self-discovery that grips from the first confession.
When Lillien, a devout and conflicted virgin, struggles with the pressure of her boyfriend’s expectations, she turns to the church for guidance. But what she finds in the confessional is far from salvation. Father Deimos — the enigmatic “priest” with eyes that promise both sin and sanctuary — opens her world to a pleasure she’s never dared to imagine. What begins as a plea for purity becomes a surrender to sin as Deimos awakens something deep within her. But Deimos isn’t alone in his fascination with Lillien. Soon Cassiel and Bastion enter the picture — each demon embodying a different form of temptation: soft persuasion, brutal dominance, and wicked charm.
Just when Lillien thinks she’s found her balance in this infernal trio, he arrives, Zepharion. The moment this dark, commanding figure claims her as his, everything changes. His declaration isn’t just possessive; it’s binding, echoing through her soul and sealing her fate among the demons who crave her. Zepharion’s arrival raises the stakes, turning Lustling from a story of awakening into a battle between control, passion, and identity.
The chemistry among the entire cast is electric — every touch, every glance laced with tension and meaning. Riebold doesn’t shy away from spice; the scenes are molten and unapologetically erotic, yet still serve the emotional arc of Lillien’s journey. Beneath the infernal seduction lies a story about liberation — about a woman embracing her desires after a lifetime of denial.
What makes Lustling unforgettable is its intoxicating mix of theological symbolism, demonic charm, and raw sensuality. Each man (or demon) reveals a new layer of Lillien’s strength and vulnerability, and Zepharion’s claim cements her transformation from obedient believer to the chosen of darkness.
This story is poetic and relishes on spice. Unholy, irresistible, and devastatingly hot. A. Riebold has created a world where sin feels like salvation and I am here for it.
The protagonist, Lillien, is a fierce, complex heroine who refuses to accept the world’s definitions of her. Raised to deny the darkness within, she instead embraces it, and in that dinner of fire and fear, she becomes unstoppable. The male leads: Deimos, Bastion, and Cassiel, are each distinct, compelling, and deeply drawn. They bring danger, desire, and devotion in equal measure, and the chemistry crackles off the page.
World-building is intense and vivid: the swirling demonic and angelic realms, the ancient magic awakening, the stakes rising until hell itself trembles. Riebold doesn’t shy away from the gritty, the sensual, the primal, and yet balances it with emotional truth and raw heart. I loved how the narrative is both epic in scale and intimate in feeling.
Highlights for me:
The pacing. This book moves. There’s tension, passion, revelations, twists... until you’re caught in the web and can’t escape.
The relationships. Though there’s a small harem dynamic, each connection feels layered and earned. The emotions are real; the characters invest in one another, fight for one another.
The prose. Riebold writes with a fierce sensuality and lyricism, making the darkness beautiful and the fire poetic.
The ending. Without spoiling, it sets the stage for what promises to be an explosive series while giving enough resolution to satisfy.
If you’re a fan of dark paranormal romance with angels and demons, forbidden magic, and love that dares kingdoms to fall, then Lustling is absolutely for you. It’s bold, it’s passionate, it’s unforgettable. I can’t wait to see what comes next in this series.
Highly recommended.
P.S. There is one point where I almost spit out my drink because the line was hilarious!.

"They taught her how to burn. She taught them how to crave. And together, they made Hell tremble."
Lillien has always felt like she really didn't belong, but carried on as a good God-fearing girl should do. She loved her parents, went to college, and more importantly, protected her virtue. Nothing seem more important than this, but she couldn't complete ignore the urges she faced. Lillien had a boyfriend who seemed to understand her wanting to save her virginity for marriage, but like most boys his age, was growing impatient. She knew he wanted more, and to be honest, so did she.
Deimos had his sights sent on Lillien the moment he laid eyes on her. He knew he had to have her; to claim her as his, but he also knew how fragile Lillien is. Pretending to be a priest and starting a new church on campus was the easiest way to be around Lillien without others catching on. Little does our dear Lillien know, the invitation to a bonfire would be the catalyst to set her world on fire!
Deimos is determined to claim Lillien as his, despite what he knows of her true identity, and with the help of Bastion, a warrior of Hell with a carefree way of staking claim, and Cassiel, our guilt-riddent fallen angel who is torn with desire of right and want, they set out to fulfill a theory that Deimos is set-on carrying out despite the deadly consequences.
In a new series from A. Riebold, the Hellbond Heart series, is proving to be another saga to catch you by the throat and make you submit to more! This was a fantatic book that kept you engaged, enraged, and full of a desire you may not want to admit in your next confession! This book had me by the wrists and drug me along happily!!
Thank you for allowing me to review this as an arc. Brava, Ash, brava🖤🥀
• DARK dark Romance • Paranormal romance • Demons/angels • Underworld • Why choose • Fast burn • Fated mates • MMMF • Deaths • Basically, no remorse
CHECK TW --- >seriously tho I don’t want you complaining after…
So, this book was a nice surprise, it’s not your typical dark paranormal romance story this is a depraved, unhinged, story with a demon prince, fallen angel and a demon soldier living in the mortal world doing whatever they want corrupting people and yes killing them till they met their match and well I LOVED IT hahaa and the spice.. so so good 👌
I really liked how Lillien turn out to be so badass this girl needed it to be in control and more empowered and of course kicking ass, what I’m struggling a little but I guess I’ll understand later its why Demion treats my beautiful Cassiel. I feel like as soon as Lillien and him mated he just forgot about Bastion and Cassiel.
I know about the other you know (---b-o-n-d-) but ugh idk I still feel like the only one that cares enough for everyone in the bonded group is Cass o maybe I’m just biased
And Damnnn I didn’t see this coming haha now I need more Raz 🥵
Can’t wait for the next one I NEEED to know what happens
A. Riebold did not mess around with this dark reverse harem. This was an addictive, twisted, incredibly hot, easy-to-devour read. With an amazing BA FMC and her 3 demons that fight to serve her. The world created was vivid and sexy. The plot was exciting and delicious. I ate it up. YUM!
The relationships are well-developed and complex. The chemistry between them was scorching hot and intense.
This book took me by surprise in the best way. It held me captive and completely enthralled from beginning to end. I can't wait for more from the Hellbond Heart series.
Lillien always knew there was more to her than the god worshiping pure girl she was brought up to be and when she comes acros Deimos who created a new church on campus just so he could get closer to her, he didnt count to much on warrior Bastian or fallen angel Cassiel desires too, but shes the war about to break and they are the creatures of the damned that will be bt her side. Well written engaging steamy desires drama action twists and more
Book one of Hellbound Hearts, Lustling is a dark paranormal romance with angels and demons who would raze the world to keep their Lillien with them. The way Riebold writes gives you an intense feeling of being within the pages, holding you in its grasp as the story unfolds, the emotions are felt through each of her characters. The world building is beyond imaginative.

I really loved it, but I’m honestly not very good at writing reviews—sorry 😆 I tend to love almost every book I read; that’s just how much I adore reading 😍 Ash, as always, writes beautifully: smooth, easy, and hot—and I’ll be honest, I’m definitely here for the hot part 😏.

This is a dark monster romance novella featuring Lillien, who isn't who she seems. Her journey of coming into her own power is aided by her three MMCs - Cassiel, Bastion, and Deimos. The story is dark and delicious, and I loved watching her embrace her inner darkness.
