Sister Celeste thought Halloween night at Saint Brigid Mercy Hospital would be like any other; long shifts, overworked staff, and chaos spilling through the ER. But when an unmarked delivery appears in the breakroom, temptation takes a form none of them could have expected. What starts as a sip of curiosity turns into something else entirely. The air grows heavy, and soon the sounds echoing through the halls are moans and prayers. One by one, the sisters, doctors, and staff fall under a spell of sinful hunger they can’t explain or escape. Amid the madness, Celeste encounters a mysterious man, a stranger with a voice that crawls beneath her skin and eyes that feel like prophecy. He knows her name. He knows her sins. And he promises her pleasure that feels like worship. As dawn approaches, Celeste must face the something unholy has found its way into Saint Brigid. And it didn’t come for just anyone…it came for her.
Well okay... Again I was here for the slutty nuns...I have no words, that was one hot ass read. Went from zero to fucking real quick and I enjoyed it. But I got so many questions. So is Seraphina, working with Lucian, we just gone go all year with no one none the wiser...the fuck is Lucian really, Satan in a suit, well he can get it anytime🤣🤣. This was such a fun read I can't wait for the other authors to drop theirs 💜💜
The book cover ATE. The storyline ATE. The author has a great way of really setting the scene and the visuals I had from reading this? 😮💨
I wanted moreeeeeee. I wish somebody would’ve given Celeste the reassurance she needed. Cause baby I wouldn’t straight up asked somebody. Like.. “did we f$&! Last night?” 🤣
The ONLy reason I didn’t give this 5 stars was due to soooo many grammatical errors. I’d still recommend this to everybody and they mama! Now I’m About to go through the rest of this series. 🤭
I need a whole book, a three part series of this! It started out sweet and cute. Nuns as nurses working tirelessly at an hospital until the devil’s spawn walks in and transforms the energy of the whole place. What a ride this was. Do you mean to tell me that they won’t be in a relationship and he won’t court and woo her until she accepts and they live happily ever after? Loll. Anyways, loved it
My first read by this author, and let’s just say you’ve got a new fan. Now, can we talk about a part 2 because I need more! They were fckin’ fckin’, straight down to business. Also, what is Lucian exactly? And who is Seraphine to him? Because you’re not just gonna slide that last scene in there like I wasn’t gonna notice, Ms. Mamas. Umm, text me the tea! I really enjoyed this Halloween Exotica. 🎃🔥
I don't know what I just read. My first Halloween read of the year and I feel I need to pray and cleanse my Kindle because these sisters went from praise the Lord to OH Gawd as soon as they consumed that cider...or whatever it was. Poor Celeste is going to be haunted for a year, and Seraphina still getting it in. Chile, read at your own risk. 💋
If spice is what you’re looking for Midnight Mercy definitely has it all! With a spice level of 1000 baby I hope you’re ready for the heat! There is even funny bits in here. This is a quick and short read I enjoyed. There are a few grammatical errors, but if you can read past them you will be very well pleased!
I like the idea of this novella. However, there are way too many grammatical errors. It was distracting. Plus, the whole supernatural thing isn't explained, or at least not well. I don't know if I care enough about the characters to read the next books.
I went into this with no real explanation but was I in for a shock. The build up was great and the story flowed effortlessly even with it being under 100 pages. Can’t wait to checkout the others in this series.
Erotica with a cherry on top w/ a Halloween twist!
At first you ease into the settings, check out your surroundings then BAM! You dive headfirst into erotic gold! Showing the power of desire in us all especially when temptation is abundant! Enjoyed this bedtime story lol
3.5 ⭐️ but my word I was not ready lol. This has two warnings in the beginning cuz they was not playing in this book. My pearls were clutched and a time was had. May not be for everybody so read with caution.
When I first started reading this! Mannn I didn’t know how I should feel. I didn’t know if I should repent, stop reading, or what! But baby this book was everything!
Midnight Mercy was a quick Halloween read that escalated fast! The eerie hospital setting, the forbidden tension, and the unapologetic spice made it impossible to put down. It’s bold, and beautifully written, a perfect mix of horror and heat.
I didn’t love this story. It was short, but I still struggled to finish it. I just couldn’t get invested in the plot or the characters, and the focus on the nuns getting it on didn’t hold my interest.
