Cute concept to read a page, do a word search and move on to the next piece. Taught me a new way to do word searches and the story was cute enough to want to follow along and finish. You get to solve the mystery! Don’t skip ahead!

This cozy murder series/word searches is better written. The format is similar, but there are more details, words, characters on the fifty pages, and here is the real stickler....about every other page they purposefully leave off one of the listed words....she doesn't tell you which one, you have to figure that one out on your own. At the next to the last page of the book, all of those words are on a search where the left over letters give the reader all the letters in the killer's name right before the last page reveal.This particular series centers around Oakford Springs Inn, proprietor Maggie Holloway. The Inn is preparing for a big celebration over the weekend that will benefit a wildlife center. A number of chefs are there, a food critique, a mayor and real estate developer....and a murder. Anyway good read, and fun solving.

This is a cute and cosy idea for book, combining a story with word search puzzles to help reveal the killer.
Both the story and the puzzles were quite straightforward. It was a fun way to pass a few hours while travelling.
