A fearless neurosurgeon. A disciplined firefighter. One spark neither can control.
Dr. Rosalind “Roz” Harrington lives for high stakes and impossible saves. Cool under pressure, brilliant under fire—she’s built a career on defying limits and never getting attached. Until Fire Captain Samantha Quinn walks into her ER, all calm strength and steady blue eyes that see straight through her.
They clash from the start—Roz’s risk-taking against Sam’s rigid control—but when disaster strikes again, trust becomes the only option. And the heat between them proves far more dangerous than the flames they fight.
Steamy, emotional, and unforgettable, Dr. Roz Harrington is a standalone sapphic medical romance in The Harrington Surgeons—where brilliant women save lives, break rules, and fall hard.

Arrogant and privileged is how I recognized neurosurgeons when I practiced!
Margaux Fox must have spent a lot of time in the same hospitals I did to get such accurate reads on the doctors she writes. Honestly she has the personality traits down pat! Years spent working in hospitals, ER, OR, floor care, each speciality has their own type of physician personality! This one, with Ron and Sam is really intense and adds a great flavor with their love choices. I couldn’t wait to sit down and devour this book.
The surgeon and the fire captain, the overwhelming responsibility to a family name , the over bearing mother who wants to control Intense feelings a, being scared but live shines through and the fight for what they want been and believe to reach their happy ending cat an all !!🌹🌈
DNF - not past the first 2 chapters. Completely unbelievable. I was hoping for a decent series to munch on. I did really enjoy quite a few books from the Royal series - so this was a big disappointment.
