Oh my goodness! How can I even put into words how much I adored To Have and to Fold! Tank’s story was everything I’d hoped for & more & the perfect wrap up to this favorite Love Stories in Sheetcake series. Emma St. Clair brings all the warmth, hilarity, swoony kisses, & happy sigh-worthy moments in this heartfelt second chance, love-after-loss romcom. I loved Rose & Theo aka Tank. And, we finally get to see what’s in Wolf’s bunker!!!
Tank’s the beloved proprietor of Sheetcake, a loving father, & the glue that holds everyone together. After mourning the loss of his wife for years, he’s finally ready to give love another chance. Widowed herself, Rose is finally pursuing her dream of opening a bakery in Sheetcake. But when the air conditioning fails, threatening her new business, Tank swoops in to save the day. While repairs drag on, he offers her his condo (though he stays with Pat & family), & as they spend more time together, sparks fly. Their whirlwind romance is one for the ages.
I loved Rose & Tank, or Theo, as she likes to call him. As someone who’s hit that half-century mark, I thoroughly enjoyed reading about these more mature characters finding love again. Rose is finally coming into her own, caring less about what others think & embracing life after loss. She’s such a fun character! I loved that she plays Super Mario Bros. to relieve stress. And those amazing desserts…yum! She & Tank both have huge hearts & are the perfect match. Tank’s always been the self-sacrificing one, & I loved watching him navigate dating again & sweep Rose off her feet with his kindness & generosity.
I also loved getting to know Wolf better. The mysterious man with the equally mysterious bunker is hiding huge secrets! I loved finally getting to see “the bunker” & watching the town rally around him as he runs for mayor against his snooty brother.
Full of humor, romance, & family, this story’s the icing on the cake for this beloved series. I’m so sad to see it end, but I’m hoping we’ll see these favorite characters again someday. Highly recommend! I received an advanced copy, but also borrowed in Kindle Unlimited. All opinions are my own & voluntarily provided.

Okay…kind of disappointing.
I reread Harper and Chase’s book plus this series and I think that worked against me with this book.
There was so much in this book from the past but with it SO much recapping and explaining. There was also a lot of inner monologuing and I felt myself kind of skimming through.
With so much time having gone by between the release of the books it almost read like a completely different ending to this series.
The timeline was all over the place. Tank said a year ago everyone was single now married and engaged but Lindy and Pat had already had their baby and she was at least a month old. But then the election would have made it before that?
I lost track. 🙃
Personally I loved Ashlee for Tank. If you do the math from the first book she could easily have been in her 40s and there was WAY more chemistry between him and her in a few sentences than this whole book with Rose.
I also think that a relationship with her would have been the funny, quirky and lighthearted direction that this series started at.
This book felt a lot more serious, not funny or quirky and in some parts strange and forced.
Like Tank putting on Lindy’s shirt instead of Pat’s that was just weird or them playing video games?
The good parts or things that I felt like I had been waiting on were rushed or thrown in.
Wolf’s bunker felt like a scene from the movie Blast from the Past not unique to Wolf. I loved him and Kyoko but that was super rushed and really should have been their own novella. They were such important characters from the beginning I wish they had gotten more.
The whole book was very rush, rush, rush…oh wait and then rush, rush, rush.
I think The Wild Card is the best of the series and I’m just gonna walk away with that.

How wonderful to be back in Sheet Cake, Texas! I savored this book knowing it was the last book in the series, and I loved experiencing the very best of Sheet Cake one last time.
Second chance at love. Insta love. He owns the town. She's a baker. Both widows. Meddling children. Found family. He saves her. A pink frilly apron. A bunker that may or may not exist.
This story is such a delight and celebrates everything wonderfully quirky about Sheet Cake. I fell in love all over again with this little town and all it's inhabitants from Wolf Waters (does he really have a bunker?) to Big Mo. Seeing Chevy and Val, Winnie, Lindy, Jo and all the Graham brothers was such a treat. And seeing Harper and Chase (perhaps my favorite Love Cliches couple!!) and even Chelsea was so fun! I love seeing them thriving in their happily ever afters. Meeting baby Evie was a highlight of the book! Emma creates such memorable and lovable characters. She highlights them all in this final book in the series.
The love story is so beautiful. I loved how quickly they fall for each other and how good they are together. Tank and Rose deserve all the happiness in the world. Seeing them discover what their next dreams really are was a treat. I loved Rose's journey with her fresh start in Sheet Cake and really deciding if she wants to continue her bakery. Tank's support is also beautiful. And can we talk about the nicknames? I adore Tank as Theo and how he kept bringing Rose flowers that weren't Roses. So cute! Their happily ever after felt smooth and so delightfully unexpected.
I've read a few second act romances lately that I have just loved! Seeing characters find happiness and love again (after loss or disappointment or trauma) is my new trope. Tank and Rose finding love again after loss is so lovely. I was cheering for them from the first pages of this book and loved seeing them fall in love.
A shout out to the whole Sheet Cake series (and the Love Cliches!)! I adore this series and felt a little emotional saying goodbye to these characters that feel like family and this town that has a permanent place in my heart. The double epilogues were so fantastic. I loved seeing all the Grahams down the road and the final lines of the series were epic.
Thank you for a wonderful ride, Emma!

I am going to miss the Graham family y’all! I had the best time with this book. It’s soft, there’s not really any tension and there doesn’t need to be. Emma mentioned this kind of feeling like an extended epilogue and that is the vibe (complimentary). I didn’t know how I felt about Tank getting a romantic story line but never fear, I quickly fell in love with him and Rose.
I thought the quick pacing was just right. I liked all of the moments they got together. I’m obsessed with this entire family and their dynamics. I loved the swoony and sweet moments. And there were some pull on your heartstrings tender moments too.
Not to mention Wolf??? I could have 1000% read a full novel about that guy. I loved that he was included and got his own little sub story too. This town is full of all the small town charm and shenanigans you can ask for.
Loved the themes and sentiments and the way everything was approached and communicated. A beautiful book from start to finish.
Overall audience notes:
- Contemporary romance
- Language: none
- Romance: kisses
- Violence: low
- Content warnings: arson, discussions surrounding grief & loss of a spouse

Well, we finally got Tank’s story, and it was absolutely delightful! I loved this ending to the Sheet Cake series.
I knew Rose as Tank’s love interest was predicted after reading Chelsea & Mason’s story, so I was excited to see how it played out. Rose was an absolute sweetheart. She was SO good for Tank & vice versa. I loved the idea of finding love after loss for her, recognizing she valued her marriage before but also desiring love in the present. She was an honest FMC who really took the reins on her own life, which I appreciated.
Tank has been a fave of mine since I read Harper’s story in Emma’s Love Clichés series. When I heard he was getting his own story, I was super excited. He established such a loving group of kids in his family, and their found family in Sheet Cake just makes you love them all the more. He so valued his first marriage too, which really sat well with me as a reader. When he fell for Rose, the giddy teenager feelings he has were adorable and those Graham boys obviously got their smitten ways from their dad. 🥰🫠
The way Rose & Tank navigated conversations was honestly so refreshing, with their life experience making them more settled and (sometimes) more assured of themselves. Their similar journeys with grief and loss showed them they shouldn’t waste time. Their moments made me smile, and how they respected each other and marriage as a whole made this book special. I know this read will make so many people satisfied as this series closes out.
Also, WOLF’S STORY?! I did not see that coming, and he’s a lovable weirdo who just wanted people to see his bunker because he knew it was cool. I loved his character arc & that he got to find love himself. 🫶🏻💃🏼
Thanks, Kiki/Emma for the ARC. All thoughts are my own, and no positive review was required!
This is a closed door romance with kisses only, little innuendo and one “he**” thrown in there. There’s mention of an absent, cheating parent, deaths of spouses, and loneliness.

A perfectly fine story, and wrap up to the series. I know a high stakes plot wasn’t the point here. The author was doing a lot trying to wrap up the series. But, it did feel like this was less a narrative and more a reflective piece. A lot of character inner monologue happening that I just started skimming those parts. A lot of telling not showing. It’s a personal preference, but I would have enjoyed more of a plot. It didn’t have to be drama filled, but nothing really happens and the relationship is rushed for reasons that escape me. You can easily extend the length of a relationship by doing time jumps without dragging the story out. But again just a personal preference. Overall, the story was fine, just not very memorable end the end. If this had been a book club book I would have struggled to fine things to say. Readers will enjoy the relaxed feel, just don’t expect too much.

Are you ready to laugh until your sides hurt? Emma St. Clair’s newest release, To Have And To Fold, is the final installment in the “Love Stories in Sheet Cake” series, and it’s the cherry on top to finish it off! Every visit to Sheet Cake is a riot, and Tank’s book was every bit as humorous and heartwarming as the rest.
If you haven’t read any of the Sheet Cake books, the series centers around widow and former football star Tank Graham’s family and friends finding love in the little, quirky town of Sheet Cake, Texas - a town Tank purchased outright. Throughout the series, fans (myself included) have wished for Tank to get his own story. When Emma announced that Tank would get his second chance at love, I about passed out from excitement.
Tank and Rose have the sweetest chemistry and you’re rooting for them both immediately. There’s both a maturity in them as widows with adult children and a teenage giddiness as well. You get the best of both worlds - clear, honest communication and swoony butterflies as love blooms.
This book is the perfect finale. The romance is sweet, the town is still as quirky as ever, and we finally get an answer to the series-long question of “Does Wolf Waters really have doomsday bunker?“ Grab your copy now and make sure you read the bonus epilogue!
I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

I wasn’t originally sure how I’d feel going into this one. Tank is the patriarch of the Graham family and finding love again after his wife’s death and all his children having grown and found love of their own. I really appreciated 2 people moving forward in the confidence that only comes from having lived a lot of life, rather than some of the uncertainty of young love, and after 9 years of marriage, it was almost more relatable than some of the young adult stories! I teared up multiple times, and the “epic-logue” was such a sweet wrap up.

I have all the love for this last installment in the Love Stories in Sheet Cake Sweet RomCom series. Watching the former pro-football player who now owns this small, quirky town fall head-over-heels for a recent teacher turned baker is utterly satisfying.
Tank and Rose have both endured great loss. While they both cherished their deceased partners, a new chance at love makes them giddy. Enjoying these emotions secondhand was one of my favorite things. Early morning baking and late night Mario playing only solidifies this budding mid-life relationship. As someone in mid-life myself, it was a treat to experience a second chance at love.
I appreciated how gradually and tenderly it bloomed, while navigating adult children, a volatile small town election, and all the forced proximity and teenaged butterfly emotions. The literal frosting on the cupcake is a secondary romance that emerges.
If Emma St Clair writes it, I will read it. This Sheet Cake series has a solid place in my heart and I adored the quirk, the weird, the sweet, and the swoon ever so much.

Thank you to the author for the digital ARC of To Have and to Fold by Emma St. Clair. All opinions are my own.
To Have and to Fold is a bittersweet ending to this series. I really loved how everything wrapped up, but I'm so sad that this is the end for these characters.
It was nice to see Tank finally get his happy ending after having gone through such a painful loss and helping each of his children settle down.
Tank and Rose were so sweet together, and it was nice to read about characters with more maturity while still second guessing themselves when it came to starting a new relationship.
I think the progression of their relationship made sense, and I appreciated that they didn't hold themselves back even if things could've seemed quick from the outside.
Besides the romance in this story, I also really loved the subplot with Wolf and him finally getting the recognition he deserved.
Overall, this was just such a sweet and heartwarming story, and I'd recommend it as well as the rest of the series.

This had all the heart, humor, and wonderful romance I’ve come to expect from Emma, but it was also a very moving story about healing from grief, embracing fresh starts, and finding love later in life.
I absolutely loved seeing a romance between two people in their 50s finding love for a second time. I’ve read several books with older couples, but rarely have they had this much charm, sweetness, and swoon.
Tank has been a favorite character of mine throughout this series. He’s a man who loves deeply, and that was apparent by the way he grieved over the death of his first wife. I’ve been hoping he’d get his own HEA, and Emma delivered one in a truly beautiful and touching way. He and Rose are perfect for each other and so adorable together. Seeing Tank give all his heart and love to Rose gives me all the feels. Even though they’re older, I loved that they both experienced the excitement of a new relationship and the giddiness of falling in love.
The supporting characters were fantastic, especially Tank’s kids, who added so much heart and humor to the story. And getting to spend more time with Wolf Waters was just the icing on the cake! The question of his bunker was finally answered. IYKYK
To Have and To Fold is the kind of story that when you finish you hug it to your chest and give a happy sigh. The town of Sheet Cake and all the wonderful characters have completely captured my heart. I’m sad this is the end of one of my favorite series, but it was a perfect way to wrap things up.
This is book 5 in the Love Stories in Sheet Cake series. You could read it as a standalone, but you’ll get so much more out of it if you read them in order.

To have and to Fold wraps up the Sheet Cake series so well! Throughout the series we’ve come to know Tank, the fun loving widowed dad that looks out for his grown kids. It was finally his turn for a book and I enjoyed seeing a different side of him.
This fun loving dad is also a dad that yearns for a second chance at love, but only if it’s the right person. Who better to understand his love for his kids and love for a spouse that died too soon, than Rose, who happens to be a mother and widow.
I loved the various situations that forced these two to get to know each other better. Their mature outlook on love and life highlighted the confidence one gains only with experience. I truly enjoyed the time they spent together and the conversations they had. It was a beautifully done later in life romance.

This story completely stole my heart from the very first chapter🤍
Tank and Rose’s first interactions were some of my favorite moments in the entire book, and I found myself rooting for them from the very beginning.
One of the things I appreciated most was how thoughtfully this story handled love after loss. Watching both characters learn to open their hearts again was beautiful, and I loved that their relationship was built on honesty, patience, and healthy communication🥹✨
I was also so excited that we finally learned the story behind Wolf’s bunker😂🎉 Watching his character grow throughout the series was incredibly rewarding.
And the family dynamic? It was one of my favorite parts of the book. The love between Tank and his children added so much warmth and heart to the story, making this feel like the ultimate comfort read.
This was such a beautiful conclusion to the series. It made me laugh, smile, and tear up, and by the final page I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to these characters and the town of Sheet Cake💕

I’m new to Sheet Cake, this being only my second trip, so I had no idea how much I needed this story.
From the prologue I was emotionally invested. This was such a beautiful way to say farewell to a beloved town and family.
Filled with a refreshing later in life romance that simultaneously tugged at my emotions, bringing tears, and making me smile a giddy smile as Tank and Rose opened their hearts up to a second chance at love. I loved the open and direct communication.
And Wolf Waters, I loved you too.
Sheet Cake is something special. I cannot wait to read all the ones I’ve missed.
Thank you to Emma St. Clair for the copy. All opinions are my own.

This is such a sweet love after loss story. Tank is the ultimate father figure. It was nice to see him in the role of a boyfriend. He was so cute and sweet with Rose.
This was a great ending to the Sheetcake,TX series. It’s a feel good tribute to family, relationships, honesty and new beginnings.
If you’ve read the rest of the series you will enjoy the wrap ups of those familiar characters from previous books. But this can totally be read as a standalone as well.

Maybe a spoiler but um what happens with Rose's bakery? It ends and the whole storey revolves around it...shes thinking of closing. But we never find out if she does.....even the epic-log doesn't share. Did I miss something? I wish I understood the goal with leaving it open eneded. Why 😩

“I don’t need fancy words,” Tank says now with a smile. “Just honest ones.” “Well, then, full disclosure—nice and same aren’t even remotely close to describing how it feels to walk along this street, holding your hand right now.”
As always, if Emma St. Clair writes it, I will read it! If it takes place in Sheet Cake, Texas, that’s just an added bonus! To Have and to Fold is the concluding book from the Love Stories in Sheet Cake series! This time, we get Tank Graham’s story and it did not disappoint!
Tank Graham, former pro football player and current owner of Sheet Cake lost his beloved wife years ago. Rose Robert’s, former teacher and now small town bakery owner is a recent transplant to Sheet Cake. When AC goes out in her bakery/apartment her landlord, Tank, lets her use his apartment until her AC is fixed. So close proximity that includes some early morning baking, and some late night super Mario brothers turn out to just the beginning of something very special for both of them…
I loved this sweet story so much! I absolutely adored watching two people, who had both been through and lost so much in their lives, find love and happiness, a second time. I have always loved Tank’s character throughout this series, so it was full circle moment for him to find his own love story too! Rose was just darling! And as someone who is a teacher that also loves to bake, I related with her on several different levels! These two were absolutely adorable from their early morning, baking, to their late night super Mario brothers games, to holding hands in the alley, to their kisses being interrupted by Tank’s kids!
I also loved seeing the other Graham kids, the race for a new mayor, Wolf and his bunker, a little side love story, and the Epic-logue wrapping everything up!
Favorite quotes:
“You’re afraid that this might not turn out to be what you hope?” he asks, and I nod. “And maybe also … I’m scared that it will.” Until I voiced this, I’m not sure I even knew it as true. But the moment they’re said, I realize this is really the root of my fear. Not that things won’t work and I’ll be disappointed, but that they will work out.”
“I may not be falling in love, but I do believe it can happen fast or happen slow. There are no rules, and if you try to pin it down, you obviously don’t understand it.”
“Say it again.” Tank’s voice sounds a little breathless over the phone. “Say what again?” “Call me your boyfriend. I really like the way that sounds.”

After watching all of Tank’s kids find their HEA’s, I loved seeing Tank get his own later-in-life romance. His story with Rose was tender, heartfelt, and beautifully written. I especially appreciated the deep conversations they shared and the realistic concerns they faced. Like two people who have already lived through so much, they recognize what truly matters and aren’t afraid to embrace it when they find it.
“I’d say that this is something I’ve been waiting a long, long time for—so long that I didn’t really even hope for or imagine it. And you are someone I could quickly find myself getting addicted to, Rose Roberts.”
This book felt like a love letter to the town of Sheetcake and to the entire series, and I adored every moment of it. Along with Tank’s story, it served as a wonderful epilogue for Harper & Chase, Pat & Lindy, James & Winnie, and Collin & Molly, as well as Chevy & Val and Kyoko & … (spoilers!).
While this can technically be read as a standalone, you would miss so much of what makes it special. The emotional payoff comes from knowing these characters and being part of their journey. I’m not ready to say goodbye to this series, but I can’t imagine a more perfect sendoff.
As Tank says:
“It’s healthy to be able to appreciate the past, to hold onto the memories, but also to say goodbye and move into a new season.”
Goodbye, Sheetcake, Texas!
I received an advance review copy of this novel. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This was such a cute book! Emma said that it was like a giant epilogue, and that's exactly how it felt to read this book. It was so fun to see the Graham boys again and to get a glimpse behind the curtain at the incredible father that Tank was. And the romance between Tank and Rose was just so sweet! Loved getting to see those two find each other after doing life on their own for so long.
I had some misgivings at the beginning when Rose's late husband wasn't quite as good of a man as Tank. I'm not a big fan of when a previous romantic partner is unfairly put down to show how much better the new romantic partner is. But Emma did a great job of handling the situation with the nuance that something can be good at the same time something else can be better. I really appreciated the way that was handled in this book.
And, I know it was only a brief two moments at the very end of the book, but Tank's conversation with Rose's son and Rose's conversation with Tank's daughter were two of my favorite parts! I love getting to see people who need a parental figure find people who can fill those roles for them. Call me crazy, but I was almost more excited about those moments than Tank and Rose's romance (although that was still wonderful and sweet).
Another great book from Emma St. Clair!

The final book in the Sheet Cake, Texas series 🥹🩷😭
The Sheet Cake series is how I discovered Closed Door Romance books and the author Emma St Clair.
In this book you read Tank Grahams story - the final member of the Graham story to find love and happiness.
Tank is the father of 3 sons and a daughter and lost his first love when the children were still young. After recovering from his loss he focused his life on raising his four children and eventually revitalizing a part of the town of Sheet Cake. Now he realizes something has been missing and maybe it's time for him seek some happiness for himself.
Enter Rose 🌹
Rose is new to Sheet Cake, she uprooted her life from Austin and decided to start a bakery in the small town. When her AC in her bakery and loft apartment go out, she questions the decisions that got her alone in a town she doesn't no anyone, over-worked, tired, and separated from her children who are still back in Texas.
In this story you'll see two *older adults* (50s) see what love looks like when you've already had one love that was cut short and have adult children you try to consider in the process.
If you've been a part of this series you'll love this story and the final chapter of Sheet Cake, Texas and the Graham family! 🩷

What a delight! I have wanted Tank to find love since the beginning of the series and I’m so glad he got his second chance at love. Tank is just so kind and strong and spoils those he loves. He takes care of his people and tries to do his best. Rose is a wonderful match for him. She is sweet and loving and trying to figure out her new life in a new town.
What you’ll find:
A whole new kitchen
An amazing bunker
Found family
Tank holding a baby
Wolf Waters
He takes care of her
Later in life love
Friend and family moments
Quirky small town
Super Mario Bros
If you’re looking for a sweet love story with low angst and moments that will make you cry and giggle then this is for you! I do recommend reading the rest of the series first but you do you!
Thank you Emma St Clair for an arc copy of this book! I loved every single page!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- book 5 in Love Stories in Sheet Cake Series
- Closed door romcom
- Small, quirky town
- 2 widows fall in love
- Late in life love story, MCs in 50s
- Nosy, loving adult children and townspeople
✨ a few of my favorite things:
- their honest conversations
- The bonding between the adult children and the parents
- Tank volunteering his kids to help with baking
- The baby poop scene
- The Harper & Rose scene
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book was seriously so stinking sweet. I’ve been loving this series from Emma for years and it’s such a sweet ending to the fun quirky town. I so appreciated getting to see Tank’s POV on his kids and also seeing his kids love and support him back.
This is a very sweet love story with amazing perspective on previous love, loss, gratefulness, learning from your mistakes, changing dreams, learning to say no, and many more valuable wisdom. I can’t recommend it enough if you need a heartwarming story.
This is a closed door romcom with no cursing, and minimal detail kissing.
**Thank you so much to Emma/Kiki for letting me read this gifted ARC. No positive review was required. All thoughts are my own.**

Awww … all I can say is YAY TANK & ROSE!!! 🏈🌹
What a sweet journey it was to watch these 2 find their HEA! I absolutely LOVE them BOTH as characters & the whole thing made my heart so happy!! Seriously … their “ain’t got time to waste” whirlwind courtship was as sweet as a big ol’ slice of hummingbird cake & I was here for it!
It was fun seeing a couple “of a certain age” get a fun & flirty new start! Us middle agers may be empty nesters with grandkids & a few gray roots 😂 but we still got lots of living in us & those butterflies in our tummies aren’t dead yet! This story represents that well! A fantastic reminder that an exciting & new adventure can be just around the corner, no matter what stage of life you're in!
And just to ice the cake … Wolf has his own little side story & it couldn’t have been more perfect! Sorry, no spoilers here … but you’re gonna love it!
Now let’s talk about that ending! Not only is there a sweet & heartwarming epilogue that left me feeling all warm & fuzzy … but there’s also an EPIC-LOGUE!! GAH!!!! It truly is EPIC & it’s a perfectly perfect way to wrap up this super fun series! Chef’s kiss on the whole thing! 😘

Sheet Cake forever! I really do love that we got Tank’s story. And I absolutely loved the Epic-logic after the epilogue that gave us a glimpse of the family in the future - it was truly a full circle moment and ended the series so nicely. I loved Tank and Rose, but their story was a little blah. It took me a long time to finish this book. I kept reading other books and coming back to it. But this whole series is still amazing!

This is my favorite Sheetcake book. By far. Hands down. Tank and Rose are a delight, the ending was lovely, and the epilogues were everything I could have hoped for and more. It made me sad but incredibly appreciative and insanely grateful Emma tied up all loose ends with a pretty and perfect bow. I will miss these characters in the best way!

I gave to process my review, but I love the Graham fam. And Tank! Oh my! ❤️
This is the 5th and final book in the Love Stories in Sheet Cake series. Oh technically you could read this book on its own. I promise you that you will not enjoy it as much unless you read the others first. Just do that. Please.
It is a sweet, kisses only contemporary romcom series.
If you know me, you know I'm the mayor of Bordeaux, OH because that's my favorite fictional town. But oh how I would like to be the mayoral race in Sheet Cake! Those Waters boys would have some serious competition!
How can I put into worda my love for this series and this book in particular? As a female close to Rose and Tank's ages, I loved seeing more mature people navigating feelings and relationships and those challenges unique to my generation.
It was beautifully written. I am not a crier and yet my eyes were leaking from the prologue! It was so tender.
I was given the opportunity to read an advanced digital copy of this book. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review and begging you to read this series.

Really fun ending to the series and also additionally fun and unique that its Tank’s story in his 50s. Being in my mid 40s some of it was really relatable and was a fresh perspective on a romance. As with the rest of the series, it had all the quirky and comical antics and characters and I really enjoyed it.

I love the Sheet Cake series. This story was the cherry on top. I loved seeing Tank get an HEA. He totally deserved it.
I highly recommend this series. Chef’s kiss 💋

S3x shaming
The book was okay. However, the female lead was very concerned about having sex without being married. This is 2026 and people are still s3x shaming?! Mind you, she's a widow and in her 50's. Honey, that boat has sailed. The puritan undertones ruined the story for me.
