Evan and his men are back for another cozy, romance-driven adventure with all the charm, swoon, and muffins you've come to expect. And maybe a laugh or two.
Volume 6 in the Fantasy World series. Must be read in order.
As an avid reader and coffee addict, Jaclyn Osborn can always be found with either a book in her hand or one being written on her laptop. The men in her stories mean the world to her, and she's thankful for each day she's able to do this as a career. She writes M/M romance across all genres and worlds, including contemporary, historical, fantasy, and paranormal.
There’s plot, but there’s also a power bottom with 5 men and working on a 6th.
I’ve been waiting for this book for so long… and honestly, it’s kind of insane to be this desperate for what is essentially crack 😂
But here we are.
Because yes, there’s an actual plot happening. Things are coming together, the stakes are rising, and it’s getting GOOD. But also… this is still a hot dork collecting men like Pokémon, and I love that for him.
I swear, I’m so weak for a good why choose. I eat this up every single time. No shame.
I am obsessed with all the characters. But the knights getting more page time here was nice. The ending was criminal. I need the next book like yesterday.
The books in this series never fail to make me smile and enjoy every second of reading. Love Evan and his men, and the overarching plot just gets better and better. Onyx is finally added to the mix, and I can’t wait for the next book to see the development of his relationships with Evan and the rest of the harem
Well, what can I say? I knew this was going to be a difficult book as it would end leaving me wanting more - and it delivered! Poor Evan and all. Jacklyn has really muddied the waters and I really need to know that Prince Sawyer and Koya are okay. I missed the cat in this book, though Lake did make up for it.
So, now begins the long wait for book 7! It can't go quickly enough.
If you've not read any of this series, you do need to start with book 1, as all the books lead on from one another. Jacklyn Osborn has built a great world with believable characters, I may just have to start these again.
Loved it. This was a really cute and enjoyable penultimate story, and I can't wait to see what happens in book 7, whenever that comes out...but not too long to wait [October '26 🥳]. Demons and warriors hopefully working together to rid Bremloc of Prince Dickhead [now King 😠] and his allies, saving Sawyer and Kuya, bring it on!
That’s a wrap on another Sent to a Fantasy World installment & once again I’m questioning HOW I WILL SURVIVE THE WAIT FOR THE NEXT VOLUME OMG I NEED IT.
So, before reading this, I went back and read all the other books again because, well, I love this series and wanted to be completely zoned in on all that was going on. Book five ended on a cliffhanger and I was eagerly anticipating the release of this book. It did not disappoint.
*Small spoilers*
There was no Kuya, no Prince Sawyer, no Ban (Oh, don't get me started on how *that*makes me sad and angry and all the feels all at once!!!!) and other side characters were MIA, as well. But....we got new side characters and they were fun! Cyan and Nina....there needed to be more of them! Fane was gruff but slowly warming up to Evan, as all eventually do.
The romance with Evan and his men was strong, there were steamy moments but also serious ones. If you've made it this far in the series (and aren't skipping because they *must* be read in order), you know, in book 5, Evan was in the Shadow Realm and Lake had just left to go rescue the others. Well, thankfully all made it (including the trio of knights Baden, Duke, and Quincy) to Evan's side. But, also at the end of book 5, we discover (though I'm sure plenty, myself included, already knew) Lord Onyx is one of Evan's fated mates. This made Evan's been a little....cautious. Especially his knights, both knights that are lovers and knights that are brothers. Evan was also a bit worried about this, but he felt it so strongly and couldn't fight it and yeah.
Lots of drama. A bit more sadness. But, we also get more of Oreo, that adorable Fenrir, so yay! The ending, though. Oh, such a mean ending! Six months to wait to figure out where everyone's going after....that! Anyone else hoping that, like this one, the next gets released a bit earlier than it says? I mean, after all, this book was originally posted at being released in August. But, hey, it came in April, kind of like an early birthday gift for me! Maybe we can get another early one? Please? Pretty please?
*sighs*
I have zero patience with this series, but it's only because I love it so. This is one series that hasn't let me down yet, hasn't gotten tedious or annoying or made zero sense or what have you. This is my happy place, my comfort spot to land. I will wait, as I must, but it is with a heavy heart.
Now, I give this five stars because....all love to it. BUT.....EDITING! Normally I take points off for this. I didn't in this series because it doesn't take me out of the story, take away from the awesomeness. But, it should get another look because there are editing mistakes that should really have been caught (using 'lightening' for 'lightning' is the first example that comes to mind).
There is no words for how much I love this series, it’s so cute and so lovely amongst other things 🥰🥰🥰🥰 I adjust my whole day for this release so I can stay up and read it right at 12 and it didn’t disappoint this series consumes my life. We’re gonna need Evan merch. Merch for all the guys or fan art 😉😍😍🥰🥰🥰
This is the sixth book in the series and it should be read in order.
First of all, I love this cover!
It’s so good to be back with Evan and his men. This series has a special place in my heart and the characters feel like close friends at this point. I definitely missed some of the characters we left behind in Bremloc. However, I’m very happy to spend time with some of the new characters, especially a certain demon lord. I did want to shake Onyx at times though.
I am so pleased, happy and satisfied because we saw plenty of adorable Oreo. He is just too cute for words!
There was less action in this instalment, but it still had the same cozy feel. While this is one of my favourite series ever, this book didn’t quite compare to the previous one for me. As always, I’m very excited to rejoin Evan and his men in their next adventure. I still have many theories and so far I have been pretty spot on!
Plot: 📚📚📚📚 Character rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ World building: 🌎🌎🌎🌎 Sexiness: 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Feels: 🖤🖤🖤🖤 Writing style: 🖊🖊🖊🖊🖊
QOTD: What’s your ultimate cozy book? AOTD: For me, probably Sent to a Fantasy World and Now All the Men Want Me Volume 5 (the previous book to this one). I have it on audible and it just hits perfectly. It never fails to make me smile or let me escape.
I was pretty underwhelmed by this one. I’ve loved every other book on this series, but this felt like a whole lot of nothing sadly. Plus… how many times does one need to use the word “sneered” good gods!
Well, what can I tell you? This series continues to be one of my favourite comfort read ones with this addition. Evan and his men bring me so much joy with every book and never fail to make me smile a heck of a lot! The lighthearted humour constantly makes me chuckle.
I was super excited for this one to see what would happen between Evan and Lord Onyx. Onyx is a real broody demon, mysterious and trying to keep his distance, but as with all his men, he can’t help being drawn to Evan and his incredibly endearing clumsy charm. Oh, I enjoyed their teasing interactions so much. They so long for each other, and I loved those long lingering looks they give each other, but Onyx has many fears to overcome before it seems he’ll give them a chance.
I would say Lake has a competitor for top spot in my affections, but he always proves to me what an absolute darling he is, so although there’s no chance of Onyx beating him for first place, the demon lord is very firmly in second spot right now with Briar and Rowan tying for third place. Don’t worry, Maddox and Callum, there’s not much in it and I do love you too! And Evan, well, it goes without saying that he has his own placing all on his own!
I adore Lake and Rowan’s friendship in particular, and am so pleased that Lake’s finally able to enjoy things I hasn’t been able to before while in the Shadow Realm (though it’s a bit bittersweet knowing they’ll probably have to return home at some point).
Also love the addition of the adorable fenrir pup, Oreo. Gosh, he’s so cute – I want one! Him and Lake playing in the flowers – such an adorable image!
I usually get a bit bored of the characters with longer series, but there is absolutely no chance of that with this one; with every book, I only become even more smitten with them and this world that Jaclyn’s created.
As always, cannot wait for the next book!
PS I hope we get to see Prince Sawyer and Kuya again soon (but in a good way) – I miss them both very much!

Some of my favourite quotes
“I like storms. It’s proof that beauty can be found among the chaos.”
“I must agree with you in that regard. You are trouble, Evan Clark. More so than I ever imagined you’d be.”
“I was yours from the moment I jumped from that branch and Evan-napped you. Just as I’m sure he feels you were his from the second he laid eyes on you in the dark wood.”
“You’re my home, little treasure. As long as you’re safe, the rest of the world can burn for all I care.”
“You have never been ordinary. Quite the opposite. Since the day I first laid eyes on you, I sensed a fire in you, Evan. A quiet intensity that drew me in. Here I am still, unequivocally drawn to you.”
“Because you fear I’ll harm you?” “No. Because I’m afraid of... this. The way you make me feel.” “How do I make you feel?” “Like I’m falling.”
This series honestly became my comfort place and I never want it to end.
We got to see more of Onyx and Evan in this volume and I really liked the development of their relationship. But also between Onyx and all of Evan's men. It was nice to see them opening up to each other and trust one another a little more.
I think I can pretty confidently guess who the 7th mate is, but I'm excited to see if I'm right or not. There's one person that's lowkey throwing me off, but maybe it's just because of his chemistry with Evan. Who knows, it might not be romantic type of chemistry. I can't wait to find out though.
Overall this volume felt a bit more dark/sad/heartwrenching (I can't really find the perfect word), because of all the things that happened and where the plot is heading, but despite that the love, friendships and kindness still shine through and it leaves you with hopeful and heartwarming feelings.
The cliffhangers are killing me though. I NEED MORE ASAP.
🧁cozy fantasy 🧁why-choose-romance 🧁found family 🧁great worldbuilding
I love the series and the characters but I have to say I am getting a little tired. I didn’t read #5 until two weeks before 6 came out and now there is at least 1 more possibly 2? I barely had the energy for this one because something’s have drug on long enough. Seriously, most of us figured out partners 5, 6, and 7 in book 4 which is why I am so tired.
This one gets 4 stars because of an excessive use of the miscommunication and not freaking talking to each other trope. Seriously, for a character that harps on communication between partners he sure does a lot of not talking about what is going on his new love interest. The star count is also based on some really simple errors in words - they are “putty” in his hands, not “puddy”. That showed up twice and made my brain hurt both times. There are a few other instances of the wrong word or wrong tense being used that hampered the flow and caused confusion as well.
So I love the characters and the story, I enjoy the author, but I’m ready for this journey to end personally.
I love this series so much even the way they ended. Cliffhangers stringing you to the next. But after re-reading this series. I feel like there are scenes in it that are missing and I loved. Even the way the books ended are different. Granted I did reread this book last year. But the scene with Maddox, Briar and Evan. There was another that they had intercourse with just them. Maddox rimmed Briar while Evan rode him. I LOVED that scene because it was one where I felt they really connected and Briar let go. There was also a scene where they said they were cuddling before letting Evan going to Lake. I just….it feels weird not having a certain scene that I loved. Or even the endings. I wonder if I purchase the hardbacks if they would have the old endings. I hope so.
Whoa. This is another super exciting addition to the series. I loved the Shadow Realm and getting to know more demons/friends, BUT I really missed my KUYA. So looking forward to book seven!

So. I knew I’d consume this book the second it came out, and I did. I regret nothing. Except that now I have to wait for the next instalment. It’s my own fault. 🤷🏼♀️
I loved it. I missed them all. I missed the world they’re in. I missed the giggles and the banter and Oreo. I missed every fucking thing about this series. 100/10 for this book. I really did fucking love it. I wish it was 900 pages longer and that it just never ended, but alas, it can’t be. So I shall wait for the next book. And might even go back and reread it all. Because as I stated before I FUCKING LOVE THEM ALL.
This series will forever lie in my heart. Evan and his harem is the absolute love of my life. These books will always be my number one favorite and that won’t ever change. The love Evan has for his men and his men’s love for him is the most beautiful thing I’ve read. Yes this series is silly and lighthearted most of the time but the author is amazing at pointing out the unfairness that a lot of people also have in reality, even though this is fantasy.
I’m very exited for how this series plays out and I’ll be waiting every single day for the next volume!😍

I love these books so much, and I'm forever upset that I have to wait for the next installment. Osborn has quickly become one of my favorite authors, and this series is like eating something sweet with a little angst on the side. The plot continues to expand with each book, and the men are, of course, fabulous. Evan's a wonderful little nerd, and his harem is full of great men who care for Evan while maintaining their duties (for most of the plot, anyway). Everything is balanced so well, and I cannot wait for the next to release.
I blew through the first 5 books and have been impatiently waiting for this book! It did not disappoint! I love the banter and quirkiness of the characters and I can’t wait to see how the newest addition to the harem settles in because my heart hurts for him. I also reallllllly can’t wait for harem member number 7 to show up if he hasn’t already (pretty sure he has). I did miss our lil kitty in this book and I hope he comes back in book 7!
This was really good wow! i was kinda getting scared 😱 more at the end because i thought the war was going to completely just break out and that made me feel like this. 🫣🥺🤬🤯🫠🫨😵💫 …. so fortunately that did not happen in this book. But this was really and once again if you was a Easy-ish fantasy series to read this is the one. And also if you’re one of the lucky ones and get to read this series for the first time please do because i’m sure that some of us who love it, wish they could read it again for the FIRST time. 😌🥲

I love wholesome and sweet stories. I have a very high tolerance for cringe. This book was TOO much for me. I think this is where I call it. I had to DNF the last for the same reason. Too much cringy sweetness. Calling himself a muffin constantly is too much. It’s also gotten too self insert-y for me. The knight being an a-hole to the other members ruins the entire found family experience. Have fun everyone else. I’m out.
So good! Another great addition to the series. I only wish it was longer, I finished it in a day and it’s going to be a struggle waiting till October for the next vol.
Love Evan and Onyx’s bonding and their development. I’m excited to see how Evan’s powers grow in the next vol and how Onyx reacts to his big secret.

This series is one of my all time favourites. Each addition ads so much detail and twists and turns. I loved seeing g more Onyx and the Shadow Realm. There are a couple of secondary characters I’d love to see find each other. I was sad not to see some of the lovable cast in this book but sure we will get more from them in book 7.
I just love everything about this series I never want it to end. The more this series goes on the more I talk in love with the characters and the world it's set in. Reading it is like a hug for the soul. May Even get the happiest of endings just not yet though. I'm not ready.
Definitely felt like a placeholder volume to take a break before bigger things happen. I suppose it was good to have the entire gang back together, but it's at those times that I find the harem aspect too much. There's just too many main peeps to really give all of them justice (let alone interesting things to do).
Another wonderful addition to this fun fantasy series! This book is filled with more romance and secrets that have been revealed and things are continuing to pick up. I really enjoy how this book is a good balance of action and coziness and I love Evan and his men. I’m really happy to learn more about Evan and also see some growth in his relationship with the demon lord. For the most part there isn’t a lot of action in this book and everyone is just getting comfortable in their new temporary homes but it was still very sweet. I love seeing everyone’s relationships grow and I can’t wait for more of this series!
As with the books before it, this one had the perfect mix of swoon, spice and plot. I can't wait to see how the story of Evan and his seven alphas ends!
