This book gives off that rare mix of elegance and tension. Even without knowing every detail right away, you feel the weight of the secrets surrounding Camilla. It’s haunting in the best way like something you keep thinking about after putting it down. There’s a certain honesty in how it’s written that makes it stand out from other mafia stories. Subtle, emotional, and surprisingly thought provoking.

From the very first chapter, I was hooked by Camilla’s story. The mystery surrounding her parents and the secrets from her past kept me glued to every page. I loved how the author blended emotion, suspense, and a touch of danger it felt like watching a high-stakes movie play out in my mind. Camilla is strong but vulnerable in a way that makes her feel so real. If you enjoy mafia thrillers with a deep emotional pull, this one is a must-read.
