I've read everything Kaufman has written as he always blows my mind with his thrillers! In this one Daniel answers the door one day to discover Benji on his doorstep. He's shocked as Benji died jumping out of a plane without a parachute! But as things go on we see that things are never as they seem with Kaufman's novels as the end had me gasping for breath! Soooo good!

A masterpiece that begins in a twist and ends in one just as sharp.
Every time I think Rob Kaufman has reached his peak, he proves me wrong. Twisted Truth is the kind of book you savor, then immediately want to read again.
I started it before work one morning and could think of little else until I could pick it back up. I worry that I sound repetitive when reviewing Kaufman’s books, but the truth is simple: each one is better than the last. This third installment in the Edge of Fear series surpasses expectations and tightens its grip page by page.
This is one of those stories that feels less read and more experienced, which is why finding the words to describe it is so difficult. Kaufman places the reader inside Daniel’s mind - balanced on the edge of a turning cog, immersing us in perception that shifts from sharp and focused to warped, shaky, and deeply unsettling. The mystery unfolds through Daniel’s fractured lens, and we can only cling to the ride.
Even ordinary settings feel transformed, vivid with sensory detail. The scene at Katz’s Deli is one you don’t simply picture, you can smell it, hear it, taste it. The writing hums with tension, hinting at the madness simmering beneath the surface. One line in particular captured that perfectly for me: “Tiny domestic sounds that paled against the chaos inside me.”
Don’t miss this brilliant third chapter in the Edge of Fear trilogy. And hopefully, fingers crossed, it won’t be the last.

What a twisted, unexpected way too this series. Rob Kaufman has put Daniel Wright and those he Jas put his trust into to navigate the various struggles that've defined his life but also fought to free himself the burden of; but Twisted Truth truly turns up the heat to an inferno with one haunting story. From the the moment a strange, gaunt man shows up at Daniel's house with a claim thato him is beyond belief; Daniel just wants to be done with this odd man... but when shows he is the suppose to be dead Benji and can destroy all Daniel has worked hard for, Daniel defies himself and even his family and friends to help to keep a man's secret. As things spiral out of control, Daniel is forced to face his own fears and find those that care about hum will always be there.
How Twisted Truth ends is something out of left field, tests the resolve of everyone and creates one hell of a memorable ending only Rob Kaufman could pull off and make it work.

This is the third and final book in the Edge of Fear Trilogy. And this...this ending is like nothing you have ever read.
Daniel Wright is confronted with his past and only wants to protect his family. He must make decisions that affect everything he loves and never thought would be his to make. The injustice, the pain and the anger must be ignored and he has nowhere to turn. As Daniel determines how to go forward, one twist after another keep him close to perilous choices. The ending is pure Rob Kaufman! You never saw it coming and there's no way out.
Definitely read this to pull together all the books in this trilogy. A must read for Rob Kaufman fans!

Wow! After Daniel has dealt with someone threatening him, so he would write another story, his agoraphobia not allowing him to leave his home, overcoming that, he goes on tour and finds someone stalking him. Causing chaos at every stop on his book tour. That's what leads to the third book Twisted Truth. A strange man knocks on Daniel's door. He claims to be a man from Daniel's past and reveals secrets that sends Daniel's life into a tailspin of secrets and lies. Daniel doesn't know who he can trust anymore. The ending, well, phew it was a doozy!

The 3rd book in the 'Edge of Fear' series delivers intense mystery, thrills, and gets your mind racing with possibilities.
A character who featured in the author's previous series makes an alarming comeback, a supposed return from the dead, but all is not as it seems....
It's flawlessly written, and builds to a big finish, but unfortunately I was left feeling underwhelmed.
I flicked to the next page expecting the story to continue, but it just stopped.

I am completely obsessed with Rob Kaufman's books. But this last book had me Twisted. I was not expecting that outcome. Just when I thought it was going a certain direction, sure enough Rob took me another way.

I just finished reading Twisted Truth by Rob Kaufman!
This is the third and final book in the Edge of Fear series. It was so good! I almost finished it in one sitting, but life got in the way last night! 🤣
If you have been reading this series, you will not be disappointed with where this one takes us! If you haven't started the series yet, you have time! This one is released on 11/12. And while you're at it, check out Rob Kaufman 's other books, the Justin Wright series (6 books), and his 5 standalone books!
