ANGEL

I love my life, but seeing my Mike Bravo teammates find their happily ever afters reminds me of how much I want my own. Why is it so hard to find a woman who loves me and respects my job? Be there for me on my terms, when I want, and then leave me to do my thing on a mission. Is that so much to ask?

JAMIE

Raffy and I just broke up … again, but unlike the millions of other times it’s happened, I’m able to find perspective. In a gay bar, no less. That perspective comes in the form of a very intimidatingly gorgeous woman whose services I could use. With my boss’s band going on tour, we need tighter security. Angel and her Mike Bravo team are perfect for the job. So what if I assign her to be my protector just so I can see her again? That is completely normal behavior. Isn’t it?

Angel is a short FF novella from the Famous/Mike Bravo universe.

DOMINO

I’m not looking for love, especially with a woman I really shouldn’t have eyes for. This bodyguarding gig was supposed to be an easy job, but being around Maggie is harder than I thought it would be. Even if it’s inappropriate to lust after her, it’s impossible to stop.

MAGGIE

I don’t need a bodyguard, thank you very much. But when a figure from the past comes walking through the door, maybe I can take something for myself for once. Being a single mom isn’t easy, especially when the childrens’ father is famous, and if I’m going to be forced to go on tour, the least I can do is make the most of it.

Domino is a short MF story from the Famous/Mike Bravo universe.

Eden Finley writes it, I read it! I love everything by this author and especially all the character crossovers. So when I heard that some of my favourite side characters will each get a short story, you bet I ran to read them.

It was so good to have another Famous / Mike Bravo Ops crossover as these are my favourite Eden series. Domino and Maggie as well as Angel and Jamie were perfect for each other and I‘m so glad these two pairings found their worthy happy ending.

If you love these two series and are in search of a quick read, go and pick this up!

Thank you to Eden Finley for sending me an ARC. All opinions are my own.

angel: as the only female member of the Mike Bravo team Angel has always been on of the guys and has no issues with that. finding a partner now not such an easy task. When she is put on protection detail for Eleven she gets to know Jamie, Harleys PA, and instant chesmisty where neither knows how things can go outside the tour. absolutely adored how their relationship fell into place, neither quite seeing it until bam they are partners. Great first saphfic romance from Eden.

Domino: as the only straight man of the team, Dominio is the just as open minded as you can get, when he meets Maggie, Ryders platonic baby mother, bestie all things change. Maggie after losing John hasn't been ready to move kn until meeting Domino a man who knew John before his passing. These two have a sweet chemisty that just works and both were made to make the others lives whole.

This duet contains the stories of Angel and Domino from the Mike Bravo Ops series, and crosses over with the Famous series. Harley Valentine and the rest of the Eleven band decided to do a 6-week tour last minute, and who better to hire for extra security than Brix’s old colleagues?

Angel gets paired up with Harley’s personal assistant, Jamie, and I really enjoyed their story. I felt bad for Jamie at the start, as it’s clear some people she grew up with felt the need to project their own experiences onto her, but she and Angel developed such a caring relationship so quickly and I just adored them!

Then there’s Domino, the straight ally and one of Trav’s closest friends who joined when MBO was created. Ryder and Lyric decide he’s the best person to look after Maggie and the kids, and the two quickly discover that they actually share a past from their army days. I found this story a little more upbeat and funny, with a dash of drama, and I loved the storage cupboard shenanigans!

I’m very grateful to Eden Finley for the opportunity to read an ARC of this story. I always love the Sadenverse and all the characters in it, and it was great to see the Mike Bravo and Famous crews again!!

Timeline Chaos 🫠💞🔫

Reading Angel & Domino felt like diving into Eden Finley’s multiverse with no GPS. This duet is chaotic, funny, occasionally confusing, but still absolutely entertaining 😅

Angel’s story had me cracking up from page one. She’s confident, badass, she totally earned her made in the DR sticker 🇩🇴 😉 (which somehow I completely missed that she was?). I was cheering for her while also yelling at her, because girl… maybe slow down before you start picking wedding colors for a woman you haven’t even gone on a first date with 😂

And Jaime? Sweet baby bisexual disaster 🥹 She’s been through it, and I wanted to hug her while also yelling “Raffy is not it!!” 🚩 Like honestly, that name alone was the first red flag. Harley was right, Raffy deserves less than zero.

Angel and Jaime together though? Pure chaos meets cinnamon roll energy, and I loved it. Their chemistry was strong, their banter was fun, and the “U-Haul” joke coming full circle made me both cringe and cackle at the same time 😭

Now… Domino.

Here’s where things got messy. I liked the story, but trying to figure out when it was happening in the Mike Bravo timeline nearly gave me a migraine. Is it between book one and two? After four? During a time skip? I had to make a mental crime board connecting Brix, Harley, Ryder, Lyric, Travis, and everyone else just to make sense of it 🕵🏻‍♀️😂

Still, Domino and Maggie were sweet. Their connection felt grounded, a little more mature. But the fact that Angel’s story takes up 70% of the book and Domino’s jumps five years later threw me off. Like, girl, I just got emotionally invested in Angel and Jaime and suddenly, time skip, new POV, new chaos 😅

By the end, though, I wasn’t even mad, I was just laughing at myself for trying to track who’s dating who, when, and where. Because apparently, Eleven, the boy band, is secretly running a matchmaking operation for all of Travis’s team 😂

So yeah, even if the timeline gave me whiplash, it was still fun, fast-paced, and full of heart. And honestly, I kind of love that Eden Finley’s universes are so connected it feels like a soap opera I refuse to stop watching 🤭

Mood board: 😑🤔😂🥹😵‍💫❤️‍🔥

Final thoughts:
⭐ Angel: fun, flirty, chaotic good 💅
⭐ Domino: sweet but timeline-confusing 🫠
⭐ Me: needs a flowchart for the next reread 🗺️

All in all? A fun detour through the Mike Bravo chaos multiverse 💞

Angel Domino is a duet of novellas set in the Mike Bravo Ops world, with a crossover into the Famous series. It is such a nice treat for readers who already love these series and characters!

The plot of the novella(s) is Eleven’s very surprising, very short tour. This actually creates a great excuse for a fun and easy backdrop, with plenty cameos from both series, that is perfect for such short stories as these. That said, it really is best if these novellas are read together and if you already know the wider universe. They really don’t stand alone.

Now to the novellas! 😁
Angel and Jamie’s story is Eden Finley’s first FF work, and it is delightful, and light, and sweet, and so easy to enjoy. I loved how Eden made Angel such a badass, while also letting us see her longing for something more grounded and lasting, and with that showed us her softer side. Angel’s connection with Jamie, although instant, actually feels natural from the start, but what I liked the most is how warm and supportive their relationship feels. One small thing that threw me off was how much more polished and corporate Jamie is here compared to how she was written in Harley’s book. Other than that, I enjoyed this novella.

On the other hand, Domino and Maggie’s novella was more…playful (?) and upbeat. There was also the surprise of their shared past. I loved Maggie’s tough exterior and bold directness, and I was charmed by Domino’s warmth and openness. I enjoyed the balance of humour with a bit of tension, it kinda worked perfectly for this story.
This novella is a bit shorter than Angel and Jamie’s, but it still feels complete and manages to give us a satisfying romance...and a memorable moment(s). 😉

In short, this duet is not a standalone and shouldn’t be read as such, but it is a sweet, low-drama comfort read. It was a lovely way to revisit the Mike Bravo Ops and Famous worlds, so if you’ve been missing these series, this is a quick, sweet read with some familiar characters and feel -good vibes.

I received a copy of this book from the author, and this is my unbiased review.

Angel & Domino is a fantastic duet that brings together two very different love stories from the Mike Bravo Ops world, with a fun crossover into the Famous series and I absolutely loved both.

Angel
Angel is the only woman on the Mike Bravo team and very much one of the guys. Confident, capable, and unapologetically herself, she isn’t interested in following society’s expectations and I loved that about her. When she’s assigned to protect Eleven on tour, she’s paired with Jamie, Harley Valentine’s PA, and the chemistry between them is instant… even if neither of them quite sees it at first.

Jamie has spent too long having other people project their expectations onto her, so watching Angel truly see her, respect her goals, and support her career was incredibly satisfying. Their relationship develops so naturally—one of those “oh… we’re partners” moments that just works. This was my first FF romance from Eden Finley and it couldn’t have been more perfect.

Domino
Domino, the only straight member of Mike Bravo, is the ultimate open-minded ally, and his story was such a joy. When he’s tasked with protecting Maggie—Ryder’s platonic baby mama and best friend—everything changes. Maggie has spent years putting everyone else first after losing John, and Domino becomes the man who reminds her that she deserves love, too.

Their shared history, sweet chemistry, and easy banter made this story feel lighter and funnier, with just enough emotional depth. The storage cupboard shenanigans had me laughing, and Maggie’s recount of their first meeting was pure gold. She’s a firecracker, and Domino absolutely knew her worth from the start.

Overall, this duet was warm, heartfelt, funny, and deeply satisfying. I adore the Sadenverse, and it was such a treat to revisit both the Mike Bravo and Famous crews. Huge thanks to Eden Finley for the ARC—I loved every minute of it 💕📚

ANGEL

I LOVED Angel! Not only was she a badass but she was funny and sweet. This is my first ever FF and to have one of the characters a fellow Dominican makes it a million times better!

I love reading strong, independent female characters that don’t let society dictate who they should be. Being a woman doesn’t mean being a walking womb. Not every woman is meant to be a wife and a mother and I loved that Eden wrote these characters in that way.

Jamie needed someone who really saw her value and appreciated her life goals. Someone who would encourage and support her instead or holding her back.

They both fit together so well because they both respected each other’s careers.

DOMINO

Our only straight Mike Bravo member finally found his happy ending. And he couldn’t have found a better woman to settle down with.

Maggie deserved to be loved and cherished. She gave so much of herself raising Ryder and Lyric’s kids and kinda forgot herself in the process.

It was about time she found someone who would treasure her like the queen she was. Domino knew she was worth it and made sure he wouldn’t let her go.

Her recount of their first encounter had me laughing. She definitely was a firecracker.

Loved these stories so much! It’s always fun to get new content from Eleven and the Mike Bravo gang. Thank you so much Eden for making two of these characters Latinos and with such an important role.

Being represented in our favorite genre means more than words can say. I hope we get to see more diversity in your future work.

It’s been a while since I’ve read a Mike Bravo Ops story and I’m glad to see we get two short novellas following Angel and Domino! In Angel’s story, she is really struggling to find the right partner for herself. Nothing seems to work out right and with her job, she has to find someone who can just get it. Never does she expect that to be Jamie. Jamie surprises her at every turn. Especially when Jamie hires Angel to be her bodyguard (and other Mike Bravo Ops) during Eleven’s latest tour. Jamie has had a recent wake up call and that’s in part thanks to Angel. But she is ready to not apologize for the job she loves or go after what she wants. And what she wants now is Angel. Then in Domino’s story, between his friends and Maggie’s friends, well, these two didn’t stand a chance to stay away from one another. And it’s clear when they meet why that is. There is definitely a spark between them. As well as a familiarity by someone in their past. But for Maggie, she is ready to be selfish for once. To be more than just a mother. And she has her eyes on Domino. And lucky for her, Domino can’t resist Maggie. Not when he feels a pull to her too. Both of these novellas were short and sweet and just a lot of fun! We see familiar faces and watch these amazing characters get their happy endings at last!

From Angel's very first appearance in the Mike Bravo Ops series, I was hoping for her to get her own book, and here it is!

I will admit I didn't really remember Jamie, but the combination of both of the women's competencies was really great. The one thing I thought was a bit out of place was Jamie's personal style. I expected her to be a bit less... put-together-corporate-baddie?

Domino's romance was quite lovely too (this being a duett of novellas), and I especially enjoyed that it was mit Maggie, who is the mother of Ryder and Lyric's kids. Generally I really loved the cross-over with the Famous series, with all the familiar faces around.

These being novellas (or possibly novellettes?) there weren't a lot of background details, and very little drama, and it made for a very sweet read. And while I would have loved for both of those characters to get more on-page time, it's nice for the lesbian and token straight friends to even get a story at all in a m/m romance series. The last member I would now love to get his own book is Proxy, as I always love to see more asexual rep in the genre, be it romance or not!

I received an ARC and reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

Novellas for the Mike Bravo Ops series with stories for Angel and Donino! I was so excited that these characters also got their own stories! 😍 These stories are interconnected with just a little overlap, and are definitely best enjoyed together (and after reading the Mike Bravo Ops & Famous series!)

Angel 3.5⭐️
Angel is looking for love, but not very hopeful. A date gone wrong turns into a meet-cute with a gorgeous, younger woman named Jamie. These two are instantly drawn to each other!

I’ve gotta say, I love Angel’s character, and Jamie was just perfect for her. These two had good chemistry, and I absolutely loved the execution of Jamie’s acceptance of her attraction to Angel. When you know, you know! 😍

I will say, there is a lot of inner monologue, especially of Angel kind of complaining about The Lesbian Experience TM, which I could have done without. But I was still so happy to finally read a sapphic book by Eden! The ending was especially fun!

Domino 3.75⭐️
Maggie and Domino have a past connection, but that doesn’t stop their passion when they connect!

I loved how forward Maggie was, and how hot for it Domino was. This one was short and fun!

If you loved the Mike Bravo Ops series, you’ve got to pick this up when it comes out! ❤️

Angel Domino is a collection of two novellas set in the Mike Bravo Ops - and Famous - worlds created by Eden Finley.

Angel is a sapphic contemporary romance between Angel, a private security bodyguard, and Jamie who works for a popstar. Angel's ready to finally settle down and find a romance, Jamie's just broken up with her terrible boyfriend, and when Jamie's boss' band goes on tour, they hire Angel's company. I love a forced proximity situation and this was just fun. I had a great time with it.

Domino is a colleague of Angel's who falls for a single mum who definitely does not need a bodyguard, but might need a second chance at love. This novella felt very much like a slice of life story and it was very sweet (and steamy).

The whole reading experience was just delightful and a perfect palette cleanser read amidst all my holiday reading. It's also a great reminder that I need to get back to the Mike Bravo Ops books to read about the rest of the characters. It was such a fun reading time.

I received a copy of Angel Domino in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I loved both Angel and Domino in the Mike Bravo series and I was always interested in their stories too. I’m glad Eden’s decided to give us their novellas so I could stop wondering about them!

Angel is Eden’s first FF book and I really enjoyed it. It was good to see more of Angel, she’s as snarky and bad arse as she is in the MB books, but of course she’s more fleshed out here and we get to see her open up about wanting to be in a relationship. I liked that it was with Jamie too, she’s cute in Harley’s book, and I liked that that was a character we already knew also. Immediate connection.

Some shorts or novellas can make you feel a bit ripped off, like you didn’t get the full story. And though the ending did come about a bit quick, I didn’t get that feeling with this book. It’s quite a cute love story with a little spice.

Domino’s story didn’t start off where I expected - and I loved that - though it did get there. Again I loved the familiarity of a known character in Maggie, and though this is a shorter read than Angel it didn’t seem to miss anything. A good, steamy, quick read.

Altogether - 4.25⭐️

I received an ARC, this is my honest review.

Thank you, Eden, for my copy of Angel Domino: A Mike Bravo Ops Duet. Both novellas contain characters from both the Mike Bravo Ops and Famous series. They can be read as standalones but readers definitely get much more from reading both series. It was great to return to these words and for these side characters get well deserved HEA.

🖤 Angel 🖤
Angel is the only female in the Mike Bravo Ops team and a total badass! Jamie is Hartley's PA & in a 5 year relationship with a man. Both women are career orientated and driven in their own fields. After a nearly moment Jamie constructs a way to have Angel near to help her uncover her truth. I was rooting for Angel & Jamie to find their HEA.

🖤 FF romance
🖤 Opposites Attract
🖤 Firsts
🖤 Forced Proximity
🖤 Dual POV

"I should have believed in myself and my own feelings. I should have ignored it when others told me how I was feeling."

🖤 Domino 🖤
Domino started at the end with Domino & Maggie telling Riff (aged 6) a bedtime story about how they got together. It got spicy and I was worried for Riff but don't worry he was asleep before then 😜

🖤 MF Romance
🖤 Love After Loss
🖤 One Night
🖤 Single Mom
🖤 Bodyguard
🖤 HEA

I absolutely loved this novella! I love when an author does cross-overs in their books with characters from other books in their universe, so I absolutely loved getting two new short stories that connected characters from the Famous series and the Mike Bravo series! (To get the most from this novella I highly recommend you read both of those series before reading this book).

Angel:

- FF
- Bodyguard/pop star personal assistant
- Concocting a plan to get her assigned as your personal body guard instead of just asking your friend for her number

I am Jamie and Jamie is me haha. I related so much for Jamie and I felt just so seen reading her chapters. I cannot wait to get more FF books from Eden Finley!

Domino:

- MF
- Bodyguard/pop star’s baby mama & co-parent
- 2nd chance at love after loosing your first love
- Hooking up in a utility closet

A straight couple in a Sadenverse book? Wild haha. I loved Maggie and Domino together and I absolutely loved how Eden wrote their story, it was so cute and different, perfect for fitting a love story into a really short book.

This duet of novellas hits the sweet spot for fans of the Mike Bravo and Famous series.

Angel has long been one of the guys, the honey trap on missions, and we all know she can handle her own. Her meeting with Jamie is a little serendipitous. Neither was really looking for the other, but they are surprisingly compatible. They respect each other and get each other almost immediately, and the support for their personal life and professional goals is something that makes them each feel seen. I love that Jamie seems so much more forward here as she comes into her own. This moved effortlessly toward a HEA.

Domino and Maggie… I was swooning. There’s actually so many layers in this one. There’s a history here you wouldn’t think of, and despite the sadness that some of that brings up, these two are very sexy and playful. Despite being a mom, Maggie hasn’t lost her edge, and she’s still a spitfire ready to challenge Domino. We also get to see Domino in roles outside of the job, which I loved.

If you’re missing these characters, these short reads feel like a warm hug from familiar friends.

I received an advance review copy of this book.

I find it quite hard to review this book because the stories are short. I’m giving it 3.5 stars and rounding up because Goodreads doesn’t let you give half stars.

I believe these stories were both originally sent out to Eden’s Patreon members and that seems fitting. These are little ficlets within the Mike Bravo Ops universe, featuring characters from Mike Bravo and the Famous series. I don’t know how it would be to read these stories if you didn’t already know these characters from the other books. It feels like a nice little bonus for readers of these two series to tie up loose ends and give more characters their happy ever afters.

My favourite of the two stories was Angel. Domino’s story felt a bit more rushed or something, maybe it was because it was being told as a memory. I finished both of the stories still wanting more of all of these characters. In general, I think I prefer a novel over a short story so it’s hard for me to rate this.

ANGEL DOMINO: A MIKE BRAVO OPS DUET is two quick read novellas bringing happiness to some of my favorite characters in this series.

Angel being the only female in the land of all these men but she can hold her own. She struggles finding the perfect person for her. Her job is her life and not everyone understands that. When Jamie unexpectedly shows up just as a date goes bad. Angel thinks she just might be perfect. I loved seeing Angel with all her hard edges soften for Jamie. They were perfect for each other in every way.

Maggie lost the love of her life years earlier. She has never taken something she's wanted since. She wants Domino and she's finally ready to be a bit selfish. There's a reason she's so drawn to Domino and him to her and it's beautiful when they finally get together.

More Mike Bravo Ops/Famous crossover yes please!! I loved seeing them each get their well deserved HEA's. And I absolutely love falling back into the Mike Bravo / Famous worlds.

I was given a free copy of this book to read and review by the author.

The way I am obsessed with anything Mike Bravo (ok with everything Eden writes but that's besides the point) needs to be studied cause wym even though this is different to what I read from Eden before, I fell in love with Domino/Maggie and Angel/Jamie right from the start?!

In this short(ish) novella where we find both stories, I love how Eden managed to give them the happy ending they deserve. Starting with Anger and her protective detail of Eleven, she never thought she would find love with the cutest Jamie, yet here we are and I have never rooted for someone as hard as I did for these two. And don't get me started on Domino and his sweet moments with Maggie in this sort of second chance (on dating for Maggie), full of feels novella.

Ugh seriously, if you love the MB universe as much as I do, this is a must read ASAP!!! You will NOT be disappointed.

What to expect in this book?
-FF/MF Duet Romance novellas
-Forced Proximity
-Bodyguard jobs
-Bi-Panic (in the cutest of ways ngl cause same Jamie, same)
-Sort of Second Chance (at life, specially for Maggie)
-A bit of Hurt/Comfort
-Universe can take a back seat cause Jamie's got this
-Subtlety is NOT Domino's strong suit and we love him
-HEAx2

Overview:
Overall:5/5
Storyline: 5/5 (wish it was longer though)
Smut: 5/5 my feels though
The feels it made me feel: I'll be sending you my therapy bill Eden, k thx/5

I don't know what Eden Finley puts into her novels/novellas, but every time I come out smiling and kicking my feet in joy. I enjoyed this novella combo very much. I loved the Angel story, seeing Eden dip her toes into WLW fiction made me so happy. It was a joy to see Angel and Jamie come together and fall in love. The way it made me smile! I hope we see more WLW stories from Eden in the future. I loved everything from the meet cute, to the fun ending.

I also loved getting to see the Eleven and Mike Bravo worlds intersect again. It brings me joy to see glimpses of our favorite characters. I was especially happy to see Maggie get a happy ending after dealing with so much heartbreak in her past.

These stories made me so happy and I loved that I got a change to read them and feel the joy in them. I recommend to anyone who's loved Eden's work, or who loves romance novels. Thank you for an advance readers copy in exchange for an honest review.

This was a super fast read that checks in with Angel and Domino, respectively, from Mike Bravo Ops as they fall in love with the people they were assigned to guard. If you have read the Mike Bravo series and the Famous series, you will enjoy these novellas.

Angel, the leather-wearing badass sniper falls head-over-heels for Jamie, who is the assistant to popstar Harley (from Pop Star). They are just too perfect for each other.

Domino, the only straight member of the Mike Bravo Ops Team falls for Maggie- the mother of Ryder's children (from Spotlight). Ever since meeting Maggie, I have always wanted to learn more about her. While her story was short (and spicy), the banter was perfect.

Overall, this book was a great peek into the lives of some characters we have met in other books. I really enjoyed it and cannot recommend it enough.

*ARC REVIEW*

I loved seeing a small glimpse into Angel and Domino! Even though these may be short stories, I appreciate them just as much as I do longer stories.

Angel and Jamie are the perfect compliment to each other. They are both career focused, but also know how to prioritize their partners when they have time together.

Domino and Maggie are perfect together too. Domino is probably the only one who could deal with all the craziness of co-parenting with Ryder and Lyric. I am also a full believer that devine intervention played a role in their meeting. It might have taken 10 years, but John definitely played a role in them meeting. John was in the after life plotting. 😂

I hope we get to see more of the Mike Bravo crew in the future! But if not, I am okay with that too!

I’m so glad we got to see Angel get it on! The involvement of Eleven brought all of our favorite characters back, and now it makes me want to reread the series again. Angel and Jamie were so cute and sexy together. I hope we get to see them more in the future!

Oh Maggie and Domino! I loved Maggie’s storyline in the Famous series and always wanted to read more something about their relationship and this was just a great taste! Maggie and Domino were both so perfect and I’m happy we at least got this novella. The spicy scene was super hot and I love the time jump on how the story was told.

My only complaint is that it was short, but it’s a Novella so that’s to be expected.

5 ⭐️, no question.

Two really great novellas, especially if you’re familiar with the Mike Bravo & Famous series.

First, we get Angel, aka Angel of Death, sniper and all-around baddy on the Mike Bravo team. She’s got a unique vision for happy ever after, which I love. In her quest to find the one that is perfect for her, she meets Jamie. Together they are hot, sweet, and sometimes hilariously oblivious.

The second story is Maggie. She’s out of the army, co-raising two children with one of our favourite couples, and feeling adrift in who she is now. Till her bodyguard…that she very much didn’t want, until she got a good look at Domino. These two go from hot and heavy in closets to the dreamiest happy ever after.

Angel & Jamie: I don’t read a lot of F/F but these two were irresistible. Couple that with one of my favorite authors and two of her series, and I’m in! Really enjoyed their banter while getting to know each other and trying to figure out if this will work for them.
Domino & Maggie: Again, irresistible. Maggie wants more than just mothering and spit up but didn’t think she’d have that after she lost John. Domino is attracted to her but not sure where he’d fit in if she was still hanging onto John after all these years. Seems like the guys in the band and Lyric had their own idea and put the plan in motion. Both great shorts!

Angle and Jamie are the heart with Domino and Maggie bringing in the fun and heat.

This was such a cute fun read. Im pretty new to the Edenvers so I have no context to place the characters but I still had a good time with them. I makes.me even more excited to get to the Mike Bravo and Famous series'.

Angle and Jamie's story is FF and I love that they fall into a beautiful relationship all be it a stereotypical one date then never separate lesbian relationship. But it really works for them and their work schedules. I really liked how adorable Jamie is, she is the perfect counterpart to Angles strong edges. Angle suprised.me with her gentleness with Jamie.

Domino and Maggie story is funny. I like the way the story unfold, it felt fresh and inventive. I love Maggie and waching her come out of her mom shell. She went for what she wanted and owned it. Domino is a big softie. I love that he still tries to do his bodyguard job but Maggie wont have it.

Thank you Eden Finley for this ARC. These are my honest opinions and feelings.

Angel is a fun, fast, and spicy novella set in the Mike Bravo/Famous universe, following Angel, one of the Mike Bravo security team, and Jamie, Harley’s PA, who we first met in Pop Star.

When Eleven decides to go back on tour, they need tighter security, and hiring Mike Bravo brings Angel straight into Jamie’s orbit. Jamie has just ended yet another breakup and is trying to find clarity, something he unexpectedly discovers in a gay bar when he meets Angel, the gorgeous, intimidating woman who instantly gets under his skin. Assigning her as his personal bodyguard might not be the most professional choice, but it’s definitely the one he wants.

Angel, meanwhile, is tired of watching her teammates find their happily ever afters while she struggles to find someone who understands her demanding job. She’s not interested in being anyone’s experiment, especially not Jamie’s, but the chemistry between them is undeniable. Their forced proximity on tour becomes the spark that pushes them from curiosity to something much deeper.

This novella delivers exactly what Eden Finley does best: sharp banter, emotional tension, and a romance that feels both sweet and sizzling. The queer awakening element is handled with warmth, and the security‑guard/client dynamic adds just the right amount of tension. Despite its short length, the story feels complete and is a fantastic addition to the Mike Bravo series.

Vibes:
Queer awakening
Security guard/client
Forced Proximity

Spice: 2🌶

Domino is a quick, heartfelt MF novella set in the Famous/Mike Bravo universe. Domino expects her latest bodyguard assignment to be simple—until she meets Maggie, a single mom dragged back into the spotlight because of her famous ex.

Maggie insists she doesn’t need protection, but being forced on tour means she might finally take something for herself. Their security‑guard/client tension and forced proximity create instant chemistry, and Domino’s determination to stay professional doesn’t stand a chance against the pull between them.

Short, warm, and full of spark, this is a lovely addition to the Mike Bravo world.

Vibes:
-Security guard/client
-Forced proximity
-Single mom romance

Spice: 2🌶

Loved these two short stories featuring two of our Mike Bravo Ops folks. Recommend reading after you read the Mike Bravo and Famous series for the best experience.

Angel and Jamie being accidental u-haul lesbian stereotypes was perfect and I loved them.

Domino and Maggie were super cute and I loved how this story started and ended with a bed time story.

The Angel/Domino duet was great. I was always intrigued by both characters throughout the Mike Bravo series so seeing them both get their happy endings, as well as Jamie and Maggie, is great. A small timing issue between the two (night one is the tour vs night two…. Iykyk) won’t leave my brain but other than that i enjoyed both stories and both couple immensely. I loved the cameos from both worlds as well.

I received this book as an ARC and these are my honest opinions.

These were so much fun! There are two stories both with side characters from the Famous and Mike Bravo series. It was so good to go back into that world and see them get their HEA. We saw Maggie and Domino in the back ground but it was so adorable to see their story up close. While you could totally read these shorts as stand-alones I would totally recommend at least reading Harley and Ryder’s stories.
