The Bratva’s Sextuplets: A Surprise Pregnancy Mafia Romance

Rate this book
Arranged marriage.

Insane Greek God body.

Six babies.

What the **** have I gotten myself into?

My father made a deal with the Russian mafia,

And I was the fine print.

I was supposed to graduate with my business degree and take over my family's company, not be sold to the heir of a brutal criminal empire to settle a decade-old debt.

But our marriage was the only thing keeping my father’s world from collapsing.

His name is Tigran. A man with cold gray eyes who looks at me like I’m an asset rather than his wife.

So, I decided to be the most difficult asset he’d ever acquired.

I crashed his war council, challenged his authority in front of his men, and made it my mission to be anything but a pretty, silent bride.

And then he silenced me in the most insane way ever.

On the table... Raw, unscripted.

One fragile truce, one moment of surrender, and two pink lines changed everything.

I’m pregnant.

With sextuplets.

Now, with a rival family threatening to kill us all and our six babies on the way, the man I swore to hate is the only one I can trust.

My husband.

The Bratva monster.

The man who stole everything from me and replaced it with something I can never live without.

I really wanted to love this. The concept had everything I usually go for, and I went in fully expecting to be obsessed. But by the time I finished, I felt more disappointed than satisfied — mostly because of how the pregnancy storyline was handled.

The execution just didn’t live up to the potential. A lot of the dialogue felt repetitive, with the same points being made over and over again in slightly different wording. Instead of building tension or deepening the emotional stakes, it started to feel like the story was stalling. That made it harder to stay fully immersed.

But my biggest issue was the pregnancy arc.

We don’t even find out that Zita is pregnant until around 75% into the book. That’s such a huge, life-altering development — especially in a romance-heavy story — and it deserved so much more space. By introducing it that late, the book barely gives readers time to process it, let alone feel it. There’s no real time to explore her emotions, his reaction, the fear, the shift in their dynamic, the vulnerability, the intimacy that can come with something like that.

I wanted to sit in it longer. I wanted the pregnancy to change things. I wanted to see how it affected their arguments, their closeness, their decisions. Did it soften him? Did it scare her? Did it create new tension between them? There were so many emotional directions this could have gone, and instead it felt rushed — almost like an afterthought rather than a central turning point.

If the pregnancy had been revealed earlier, the story could have leaned into it more. We could’ve had real buildup — doctor visits, private conversations, protective instincts, maybe even conflict over what it means for their future. Instead, it’s introduced so late that there’s barely any time for meaningful development before the story wraps up.

That’s what makes it frustrating. The ingredients were there for something powerful and emotionally layered. It just didn’t get the depth it deserved.

I didn’t hate the book. I just wish it had committed more — especially to the pregnancy storyline. It could have been such a strong emotional anchor, but instead, it felt like a missed opportunity.

First I want to thank the author Melanie Rain and Booksprout for giving me an ARC of this book. 📖
I didn’t like Zita’s Father in the beginning because he arranged a marriage between her Tigran and she didn’t want it and also how he treated her too, but getting more into the book I started liking him.
I loved how strong and confident Zita was in this book and also how she stood up to Tigran also in this book.
And I also loved how she voiced her opinion at one of Tigran’s meetings and eventually he decided she could help him with his business dealings.
Loved that they when they finally fell and love and decided for their relationship to be real and not a fake relationship. I love the romance between Tigran and Zita and it was also spicy too. Loved how he protected her too. I felt sorry for Tigran when he was younger and the stuff that happened with his parents. I was so happy when they got pregnant and how they both protected their children. I hated Avgar Federoff and other bad guys and what they were doing to Tigran and Zita and their children and other people that worked for Tigran but I am glad at the end they got rid of the bad guys and they had an happy ending with their children. And I also recommended this book. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I wanted to love this, I really did but I just couldn’t. The storyline had so much potential but it wasn’t the best executed. I found lots of conversations/phrases were repeated which was frustrating for me as a reader as it was often in the same conversation.
Also, the part you find out about Zita being pregnant isn’t until 75% into the book, which doesn’t leave a lot of time for pregnancy and babies and all that jazz.

The Bratva's Septuplets

I am sorry that so many lost their lives. I am not really a fan of Mafia books. I like the romance part. I like the family bit. I don't like the violence part.

Good story

Creative author. Enjoyable storyline. Well planned story. Some typical bratva themes, but it didn't seem overwhelming. Not focused on violence throughout the entire book.
