Jaw on the floor

I’ve been following Madelyn on TikTok for awhile now and as soon as I seen she published wildflower it immediately went on my TBR. I finally got the chance to start reading last night and let me tell you I read 53% of the book in one sitting. I COULD NOT GET ENOUGH.

This book is the perfect mix of funny banter and serious writing. The perfect combination. I instantly fell in love with Hayes and Margot. I don’t think I’ve read a good cowboy romance that’s kept my attention in a long time.

Madelyn’s writing is like a mix between Lainey Lawson and Catherine Cowles. Two of my favorite authors. She is the perfect mix. I will be on the edge of my seat waiting for book two 🖤

great plot!

The storyline was great! It keeps you on your toes. This book does need some editing for sure!! The author has the one son being names James on one page then named Jason on another. Same with the FMC’s mother’s name. One chapter her name is Amy, the other chapter her name is Nancy.


The one thing I wasn’t too big of a fan of was how Levi was on their “friendly” date, it seemed his behavior that night was just brushed over by the fmc. Weird bc of how he was being pushy when she clearly wasn’t into it.


Overall, I loved the story! I love the MMC for sure, and hope we get stories for the rest of the men on the ranch!

Well, I wanted to like this, but sex and more sex, not my idea of reading a good book. Once was enough, but it seemed every other page was explicit sex. I get it that they lusted for each other, but once would have been enough. Otherwise, I wanted to send the book back to Kindle. I did finish it but i didn’t enjoy it at all.

Good story, but needs a better editor

I loved the story and the premise of it, but it needed a better editing eye. Simple mistakes were scattered throughout and honestly could have been condensed down about 50 pages. I really enjoyed the plot and story line though.
