Moving here was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, because I’ve been able to live wonderfully, and write my heart out. I’ve always enjoyed the arts in one form or another. Music sets the mood, reading stimulates my brain, and writing allows me to utilize my imagination in any way I want. I’ve been writing stories since I was a teen, and figured out it was my passion when I finished my first novel, Something About Eve.
I love being captivated by books that lead me into different, exotic places, and through impossible scenarios. I love being able to become someone else for a time. Reading has always inspired me to bring my own characters out to play. My hope is that my writing will inspire others, or at the least, give them a way to escape from everyday life for a little while.
If I'm not writing or reading, I'm training for triathlons. It's a good way to challenge my body the way I challenge my brain when writing. I'm not the greatest at it, but not only do I do it for the challenge, I do it for charity. It's a good motivation. :)

Melissa Tereze and Jourdyn Kelly did it again with Tell Me Your Desires!
I received an ARC for my honest review, and honestly — wow. As always, Melissa and Jourdyn take us on a roller coaster of emotions with Detective Barros and Anya. Barros is fighting the ghost of her ex (literally), while Anya faces the demons of her past — and together they create fireworks!
The chemistry between them is intense — spicy, hot, and full of slow-burn tension that explodes beautifully. Beyond their love story, the plot is filled with suspense and emotional depth that keeps you hooked until the very end — and what an ending!
Also, huge shout-out to DEREK… I adore that cat with all my heart.
If you love sapphic romance with mystery, heart, and heat — Tell Me Your Desires is an absolute must-read.

When Melissa and Jourdyn join forces to write a book, we get a masterpiece! How can you not love Jamie, Anastasia (Lady A) and of course Derek!

you had me at "Toe gang signs" 😁
you know a book is great when the pet (cat in this case) steals the show. An Derek deserves the shout out for all his lines.
What isn't to love about the book? It had mystery, action, great spice that made sense in the story, humour and what I really liked is that it was a partnership between them, it wasn't just the hero cop and the damsel in distress. Both fought for eachother and had great communication.
It's really a must read, when Melissa and Jourdyn team up you know it's going to be a great read.

One for your bookshelf
The characters and storyline are well formed and interesting. I read this in one sitting as it is one those "just one chapter" books. I'm not going to outline the book as the blurb does that but you do need to read this, you can't go wrong when you put these two authors together and you won't be disappointed

Amazing 👏
Both Melissa Tereze and Jourdyn Kelly's books are amazing. Put them together, and they are on fire this book has everything, drama, suspension, grief, and lots of spice with a happy ending. Both mcs bring so much to this story, both independent and going through life without trust until they finally trust each other. I couldn't put this book down. I highly recommend this book.

By far one of the best reads of the year for me. From the gripping plot to how deeply relatable the characters feel, this story carried me through a full roller-coaster of emotions. With Jamie and Anya, the authors masterfully balance raw trauma, tentative hope, and the fragile, fierce ways love finds a voice when you’re scared to speak.
Jamie is haunted, wounded by loss, and threading through dim corridors of guilt and purpose. Anya is a force—steady, mysterious, layered with secrets and strength. Watching them navigate their fears, express their desires, surrender to something real…it felt visceral. One moment I was crying, the next smiling, then laughing. The emotional landscape was rich and alive.
And oh—how wonderfully honest this story is. Jamie and Anya don’t just fall into each other. They choose. They fight. They confess. They heal. The authors bring maturity to how feelings and desires are voiced, held, and sometimes resisted. That sincerity elevated the spice to something meaningful: desire defined not just by heat, but by truth.

This was a great read! I really enjoyed Anya and Jaime’s dynamic. Both characters were strong independent women. I can’t even recall the last sapphic murder/crime theme I read from the “good guys” perspective. The only flaws to me was really the point of why the murders were occurring. I felt like I needed a better explanation than what was given. Second would probably be the conclusion felt like some loose threads. Can’t really talk about specific favorite scenes because I don’t want to ruin this for anyone else but this was a really fun read! These two authors came together and created something great. I couldn’t put it down!

Desire are
What a wonderful book. This story takes you through the lives of two women that are grieving in to different ways. Painful and Pleasant
Wow that was a hard read for about 6/7 chapters.
Bumbling detectives who let’s face it did bare minimum detecting. The constant use of “Lady A” before Anya came to be. Then we got to the insta connection which I usually hate but here after the hard to read chapters made it somewhat pleasant. Throw in some thinking aka “investigative work”, dual pov that at times became confusing, an ex or “two”, some kismet relations and a seamless solving of the case and that’s this book in a nutshell. Oh and lastly, the potential for another book.

excellent steamy murder mystery
I really enjoyed this book as a murder mystery and an erotic story. I will say, it often lingered on the past of the main character, to a point where I skipped over parts, but with each chapter the characters became more complicated and the story more interesting. By the end I was enthralled. I’m hoping for a sequel with Lady A helping the FBI agent find a killer, and a life.. we will see

I was very excited to see these two had written a book together!
Definitely worth the read. There's just two things I didn't like; Jaime comparing Anya and Taylor was was so messed up to me and Jaime's emotional immaturity/toxicity. Definitely a turn off. But the rest was good, very interesting, I loved the profiling aspect, lady A, and of course Derek 🐈⬛️. Enjoy!

Yes, yes… the plot is predictable, but the mains are yummy with their age gap and their varied backgrounds complement each other so well- it’s a lovely ride. Unless it’s reverse cowgirl lol. Gotta love gun wielding, flog possessing, brainiac women with a pension for topping. Enjoyed the crap outta this one.

I really enjoyed this book. Everything about it. The romance, of course, and the suspense running through it. And who can forget Derek? He's just simply awesome. Anya and Jaime were so good together and helped each other heal throughout. This will always be a reread for me

Un put downable!
Murder, mysterious woman with a past and a broken detective! What more could you want from a story. The main characters were believable and human. I literally read in one sitting.
