This audiobook was created for those who struggle to comprehend reading or simply don’t have time to sit with a book—a lifeline for anyone walking through silence and darkness.
No Filter is a fearless, uncut memoir from Retired Sergeant First Class William Alfred Stephens Jr., who went from skateboards and struggle to soldier, survivor, and entrepreneur. Told with brutal honesty and spoken-word rhythm, it captures the transformation from military service to mental health advocacy—and from silence to leadership.
At its core, No Filter is more than a story—it’s a mission. A call to protect new authors from predatory “funnel” scams, fake marketers, and manipulative publishing traps. Through his own healing, Stevo uses 1821 Productions to expose deception, uplift truth, and empower real storytellers to find their voice.
This award-winning continuation of The Broken Mirror reminds listeners that real strength comes from transparency, purpose, and community. The narrator’s dynamic highs and lows don’t just tell the story—they breathe life into every crack in the mirror and every piece that’s fallen to the floor.
It’s not about royalties. It’s about reaching one person who needs to hear it.
Because even in a world full of filters—truth still cuts through.
This memoir is just what I needed. Just to hear that there are others out there that feel how I feel or struggle but keep fighting. I recommend this to everyone. Even if you do not feel like you are struggling you may be able to see the signs in someone who is and just be there
Book 3 of the reflection series, no filter so raw you would not even believe that is why the O is a parent advisory statement in the word NO.
As a young skater being traumatized by my father, I would just say that I know there are many people out there that are traumatized by their parents so they escape and do certain things so I hope that this book helps one person escape from their demons, especially young skateboards out there who are trying to be what you’re trying to be if you have a dream live the dream if you’re a young author, this book is for you so many rabbit holes so many scams please pick up this book today. This is booked three like I said of the reflected series the audiobook just dropped. If you want to hear an amazing narrator my narrator is an army veteran just like Myself. I don’t think anyone could ever tell my three books the story the way he did and when you pick up this book, you will not be able to put it down the testimonies the reviews that are coming back to me people talking on my podcast said they sound like I’m just sitting right there talking to them.
Love, peace and joy always remember mental health is a life sentence without parole.
I read "The Broken Mirror" first, and "No Filter" does own up to its book title. The writer is filling in the blanks with realities he wasn't ready to indulge us in "Broken Mirror"...the detailed relationships with his dad, his ex wife, his daughter and his late sister. His demons feel sedated and are not as tormenting to the soul as one tackles the read. Despite the language which some people may find unconventional, "No Filter" does give me a few good laughs, shows a man who is clawing his way to recovery, and holds the torch for those who need to see a flicker of light to live another day. It's just sad that William's journey to become a great musician was cut short by a childhood incident. Makes me wonder which life or career path some people would've taken if "Jack the Ripper" hadn't crossed their path.
I can say with the best of my ability that this book is a powerful read and also has helped me in small parts of my own life problems. It’s amazing that he could relate a lot to his readers on every level needed. If you’re in for a good read. Give this one a gander !!!
