I was raised on an Alaskan homestead at the edge of civilization, an upbringing that brought with it passing knowledge of everything from mechanics to gardening to carpentry.

I was an avid reader from an early age - and started my first writing efforts as a teenager. It took me a while to actually get published.

World Building Fantasy

A fast paced world building fantasy that follows the Vixit siblings: Sitex, Tarx, and Eta as they encounter corrupt government officials, dangerous debt collectors, and Cultist priests predicting Reset madness.

Using the Zarichan key left to them by an uncle and the Ithquik's Heart and Sitex's knowledge of ancient inscriptions and alien languages, he is able to decipher that their world has died multiple times over the centuries.

Edgy, tumultuous, full of shocking twists you'll not expect. Ingenious aliens, ancient gods, larger than life battles. Every chapter will draw you into the adventure. Spellbinding read.

“Reset” by Tim Goff is interesting and well-written. There is efficient character development, surprising and effective action sequences, and subtle craftsmanship that slowly reveals clues letting us know how the worlds differ from our own. There are old and new worlds, and both sets are interesting. There are gods dealing in the end of humanity, but our main characters are a resourceful group. The main group is also likeable and credible, each having a unique set of strengths that work together to go a long way toward conquering evil. I enjoyed the assimilation or lack thereof of the Earth-dwellers in the new worlds, especially how they recreated their old New York and tried to grow their own foods in the new world.

An Entertaining Sci-Fi Adventure

Goff creates an immersive and engaging sci-fi world filled with an atmosphere of uncertainty and unexpected twists. The combination of aliens, ancients, and cults gives the book a unique flavour. The book was short and, as such, the pacing was rushed in places but otherwise it was well written.

Recommended if you are looking for an imaginative original sci-fi adventure.
