thank you, thank you, thank you lady rae!! from the absolute bottom of my heart, thank you for creating my story and showing the world how no matter what obstacles get thrown in your way, you can AND WILL always come out on top!
this book had me hooked from the start, the prologue had me on the edge of my seat. the way Jaylen fought and worked and pushed herself through all the tough times. to the way she came out on top, falling love with someone who also fought as much as she did. she found love and a safe place in a man, who’s trauma also didn’t define who he was as a person. they built a life in the end of it all. he showed her what true love is and how to accept it.
blake, the man of the hour, the hero of this book. you turned my fiance into a hero, one who deserves it after everything he did for me in our lives. blake fits him perfectly (hence why we call him blake 😆.) i loved his point of view, what he thought of Jaylen and how quick he fell for her because she had already fallen too.
this book will forever have a special place in my heart. i am forever grateful for you, thank you for holding this book so very close to your heart and for loving it as much as i do ❤️
