The goals of this program are to improve the management of and reduce hospital readmissions for heart failure (HF). After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able

1: Evaluate patients who present with signs and/or symptoms suggestive of HF.

2: Prescribe pharmacotherapy based on the current guidelines for management of chronic HF.

3: Identify patients who are candidates for mechanical therapy (eg, defibrillator therapy, biventricular pacing).

4: Consider use of HF disease management programs as a strategy for reducing hospital readmissions for HF.

5: Initiate strategies that can be used in primary care to reduce hospital readmissions of patients with HF.

Waste of time

No new information,a complete waste of 10 minutes,at least I didn't pay for it (prime),Do not waste your time,nothing here

THis one was a it dryer than others -- I used to like Heart Failure because you could think through it physicologically but now the just shuffle the drugs. -- Oh well XxS nothing more to say.
