Death at Daybreak
It seemed like a perfect plan, all summer relaxing at a luxurious estate on a small island off the coast of northern Maine. Rachel Maguire and her niece and nephew plan a quiet summer vacationing, enjoying a breather from their wildly successful company, mystuff.com and strategizing their next entrepreneurial opportunity. Jared and Allison hope to convert Daybreak House into an elegant boutique hotel catering to successful young professionals like themselves. They also anticipate spending lots of time with very special friends living on Egg Island. Things get off to a ominous start with a ghost walking the halls on the first night and an intruder murdered the following night. Allison's friend becomes a fugitive when he is suspected of murder and bank fraud and Jared's lover plans to marry someone she loathes. As the summer goes on their relationships with each other and those they love will be threatened and shattered by those they trust the most as they struggle to restore reputations and relationships, not to mention explain the mysterious happenings at Daybreak House.
