I love this series! I first discovered High-Class Homos on Webtoon and I'm so glad it is getting print releases now! This Volume has episodes 40-66 if you're keeping the volumes aligned with the Webtoon.

I always find it interesting to see how the comic adapts from an all verticle online format to a more "traditional" graphic novel format. I noticed that Momozerii even reworked the order of some of the panels towards the end of this book. I also love her illustrations, especially seeing all our favorite characters in different ball attire in this volume.

Prince Nicolosi's increased role in this volume added some interesting plot wrinkles for our intrepid queer heroes. As did the introduction of August and Sapphia's parents. I'm looking forward to seeing where all the storylines go in the next Volume!

Thank you to NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for access to this eARC in exchange for my honest review.

I lied to goodreads, I read this on webtoon instead of an ARC >:)

Anyway, this series is amazing, buy it, read it, reread it, eat it, etc.

I received this book from the publisher/Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.

💖 Loved the ball (and loved Sapphia’s new leg which was so shiny and I loved how she was showing it around so happily), well, until mister green-haired asshole came along and had to be an asshole. Did love how Odette protected Sapphia and how Sapphia kicked the asshole. Let’s go!
💖 I am so happy that Marla and Sapphia had that chat. It makes me sad that it is going this way, but as a reader I know that Odette and Sapphia are endgame. I have to say I was a bit worried at times, but I am glad that both had a chance to discover this relationship and see what would happen. They do make a good couple.
💖 Loved the various text bubbles in colours for each character. Made it much better to follow who was talking as at times there was a lot of chatting.
💖 Oh, August, you idiot. We had such good progression with the knight (Percy) and I was just squealing each time they had a moment (and there were so many moments like at the ball), but then he does that in the end (he forgot to tell Percy about a certain VERY IMPORTANT thing). I hope that they can both be mature about it and talk in the next volume, because otherwise I will seriously have to find a way to get into books and slap the both of them.
💖 The witch was such a fun one. I loved seeing her again and what she did for Sapphia. Her methods may be a bit unorthodox but I really like her and I love how she goes all out. I hope we see more of her in the later volumes, plus maybe get some more backstory on her.
💖 The art was fun!
💖 I loved seeing August and Sapphia plan the engagement, get the setting right, convince the parents (because they think Sapphia was wrong in the whole green-haired asshole confrontation, yes really), figure things out, and then do it.
💖 Loved getting some more backstory on Sapphia as she had to go back to her kingdom. The poor girl, people being assholes for the fact she likes the flirt and that she has a prosthetic leg. Just horrendous. I can imagine that she is taking the chance with August even better. They are good friends, but with him and in his kingdom she can be happy and herself.
💖 Loved seeing everyone get along together + I loved what the maids did for Odette after the ball. That was just the sweetest.
💖 Loved the bonus illustrations + the extra comic set in another universe. I do love a good bonus and this one provides!

All in all, I had so much fun with this volume and I cannot wait to see how things will continue (plus see the wedding being planned and hopefully more romantic moments between characters). I would recommend this volume and the previous one to all.

Thank you a lot to Netgalley & the Publisher for providing me with an E-Arc in exchange for an honest review!

4 / 5 Stars

High Class Homos – Volume 2 continues to shine where the series is at its strongest: its characters and their relationships.

This installment leans more into quieter, transitional moments rather than big, plot-heavy developments—and honestly, that really worked for me. We get to see both the romantic and platonic bonds deepen in a way that makes the cast feel even more lived and developed, because in this one it’s less about moving the story forward at full speed, and more about letting the characters grow into themselves—and into each other.

That said, the Ball-Arc was definitely a highlight. Given I've read the whole webtoon I'm biased, I'm aware, but I think the Ball-Arc is great. Partly also, because it introduces a new antagonist who, despite limited page time so far, already feels incredibly compelling and will only get greater in the volumes going forward. There’s something about the way he’s written that just clicks, and I'm looking forward to seeing his story unfold once again.

And of course, the chemistry between the leads remains the heart of the series. It’s natural, engaging, and consistently one of the most enjoyable aspects of the story.

Final Thoughts:
Overall, this volume feels like a bridge—one that focuses more on emotional development than major plot twists—but it’s a very effective one. I’m still very much invested and excited to see what comes next.

The second volume of High-Class Homos definitely delivered on the feels and vibes and I enjoyed it immensely! It continues to tell the story of its charming, chaotic and hilarious characters and the shenanigans that Princess Sapphia and Prince August get up to, as they develop their engagement plan and bond within the friendships and relationships they’ve found.

The characters have so much platonic and romantic chemistry that it punches through the pages of the story. Tensions are high too when misunderstandings occur, familial expectations get in the way and just overall awkward human interaction have our characters reflective; but there is also humour and comedic relief that is expected with this series.

The illustrations are beautiful, colourful and soft, making you want to continue reading and delve into the richness of the characters as they drive the storyline with their emotions, lives and interactions.

Overall, I love that the queerness of the story is not traumatic or tragic in its representation even as the main characters are literally planning a lavender marriage. The characters are definitely queer, but they are people first and experience emotions and realizations that do not always centre on their queerness. High-Class Homos is funny, romantic, reflective and playful even when acknowledging complex dynamics, horrible parents and disability.

Thanks NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing, for this free arc/copy of High-Class Homos Volume 2 by Momozerii; all opinions are my own and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

High-Class Homos: Volume 2 continues the story of Princess Sapphia, Prince August, and their friends. It's all humorous and somewhat romantic as they're exploring relationships.

The art style in still very beautiful. The bright, vibrant colors and expressive character designs are pretty to look at. I also enjoyed additional sketches.

I'm still not a huge fan of the characters. And while I appreciated a slight character development, they are getting more and more on my nerves as the story progresses. They're so f*cking oblivious.

“Unfortunately, no. She doesn't know. 'Cause she's an idiot.”
[is also an idiot]

IT'S SO OBVIOUS THAT YOU'RE INTO EACH OTHER. JUST KISS ALREADY!!!

Overall, I liked this volume better than the first. The story itself had more impact to me than the first volume. The story isn’t as compelling as I hoped. It's cute and enjoyable, but I'm not sure yet if I'm going to continue the series. I don't think it's really for me.

This book comes out on May 5th, 2026.

i absolutely loved this!!
just like with the first volume i was in awe of the amount of representation and loveable characters!! it’s rare to have queer representation or disability representation so the fact that we get both in this is truly amazing!! we also have characters of all different ethnicities and it’s just so nice to have a story that feels so diverse and inclusive.

it broke my heart to see Sapphia dealing with ableism but i’m glad it was acknowledged because it is unfortunately so common for disabled people to experience and it did resonate with me as well unfortunately. tugs at my heart strings to see such an accurate portrayal of living with a disability! i just love all our characters so much and i feel so attached to them already!!
i’m also so obsessed with the art style and the colour palette is so aesthetically pleasing!!

i highly recommend picking this up if you like wholesome stories with an emphasis on friendship and sweet romances!

Are There Gay People in this?*: ✅

This series is an absolute delight. The art is adorable, I love all of the characters you're supposed to like, and I'm always having a good time reading it. I do think you can feel that this is a very in between volume. I wouldn't call it filler, especially since there is a pretty significant event, but we didn't get a ton of character or relationship development in this one. But I think that's okay, and I'm kind of glad that this series is taking more of a slow burn approach.

* I count a book as including gay people if any of the main or secondary characters are implicitly or explicitly queer or trans. This does not necessarily mean the protagonist is queer or that there is a queer romance

The second volume of High-Class Homo continues to lean into its charming blend of royal artifice and genuine friendship, though the pacing feels a bit more relaxed than the debut. While the comedic timing remains sharp and the vibrant art style continues to be a highlight, this installment focuses heavily on transitional moments that occasionally stall the overarching plot. The chemistry between the leads is still the series' strongest asset, providing plenty of heartwarming interactions, but readers looking for significant narrative progression might find this volume a bit too comfortable in its "slice-of-life" rhythm. It’s an enjoyable, breezy read that keeps the spirit of the webtoon alive, even if it feels like it’s catching its breath before the next big arc.

The queer vertical comic is collected and put into a more common layout for print. The art is not particularly detailed given webtoons generally require quite a bit of speed. It pulls the style off well though, nice and clean.

The characters are still charming and the plot is still relatively light, bad things happen but they never feel particularly threatening. There's a small issue in the fact that it starts with a large event, which doesn't quite feel a great starting point. You can tell this had a different release structure and it wasn't originally cut up like this. It's probably less of an issue if you keep up with the webtoon on its app or read the other volume more recently.

Cute and cozy, I liked it, and I'm sure the fans of the work will be glad to have it in print form

Amidst bubbly personalities and romance blooming away from peering eyes, a sinister plot is making its way to center stage...

I've loved this comic series since the first few episodes that landed on Webtoons Originals. While High Class Homos already flows smoothly, the hilarious story of a group of very different closeted young adults has translated well into graphic novel formatting. I would have loved to pick up a story like this as a kid, especially since the art style and color schemes add a specific charm that I don't find too often in the retail world of books.

I so look forward to adding this and the next installments in the series to my shelves! 10/10, can't for more!!

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Andrews McMmeel Publishing for allowing me an advanced copy! And an extra special thank you to Momozerii for creating one of my favorite Webtoons :)

First I would like to Thank NetGalley, Momozerii and the Publisher for this ARC.

I love this series!!!
And i'm so glad that they are getting physical copies!!!

This is a fun and lighthearted and romantic read.
The colors are bright and happy and cute.
The interactions between the characters are realistic albeit a little dramatic from time to time.
But that makes it all the more fun.

So the second volume of High-Class Homo pics-up the story where we left it in the first volume. To lean into its adorable blend of royal artifice and genuine friendship. The comedic timing remains sharp.
The chemistry between the leads is still the series' strongest asset, providing plenty of heartwarming interactions.

I could not put it down and can't wait for volume 3

We jump right back into the world of Princess Sapphia, Prince August, and all of their lovely friends. Things are going all wrong for the lavender marriage the Princess and Prince have arranged…will they be able to execute their plan to marry and have the freedom to date? This was such a fun volume but I also loved and appreciated the great disability representation (and feeling othered/ostracized due to a visible disability). We get a little more of Nicolosi and the witch (who is extremely insistent she’s a vigilante) however this volume ends with a cliffhanger. I NEED VOLUME THREE IMMEDIATELY. 5⭐️ LGBTQIA+ & disability representation

Thanks to NetGalley for the opportunity to read High Class Homos Volume 2.

I love this series so much.

This volume continues the story of Sapphia, August, their friends, and their not-so-perfect lavender marriage plan, and features:

- Beautiful, brightly coloured art!
- A chaotic queer friend group with extremely different, but all as equally endearing members
- Disability rep
- Relationship drama! Idiots in love with each other who are too idiotic to realise it!
- Several plot threads dealing with more difficult topics, but all handled in a genuine, carefully thought-out way

Once again, I cannot recommend this series enough. It's a fun, fast paced read, and I am really excited to see what's next for the crew.

The artwork is really cute and i also enjoy the side characters and their storylines as well and the representation is great in this novel!

I was so excited to go back into this world with these amazing characters! This second volume did not disappoint at all. I didn't realize how much I missed these characters until getting back into this series. These are some of my favorite characters in any graphic novel series I've read. They are so fun and relatable with still having issues to overcome. I love the humor in this book as well as the vibrant art. I can't wait to read more!

*Not sure if I mentioned this in a previous review or not, but this very much reminds me of The Cursed Princess Club graphic novels and those are my favorite of all time. So if you have read and enjoyed those, please read this series as well.

The adventures of Prince August, Princess Sapphia, and friends continue! The big plot development of this one is that during the ball, there is a kerfuffle and the princess is sent back to Mytilene! The princess must receive a proposal from Prince August in Mytilene or her parents will set her up with ANOTHER match. Much to the chagrin of the young royals, their parents are both very stubborn, both insisting that the proposal occur in their own kingdoms. What ever will they do?!?

It's silly, playful, and a tad emotionally devastating at times! I've been following this story as a webcomic for many years now and I'm so excited to see the second volume officially being published. The artwork is so cute and there were a few points I thought I'd even like to have certain scenes as prints. The storyline is filled with classic tropes, but they manage to feel fun and make you smile while you read. I'm intrigued by where things will end up for some of our side characters, and I love the focus on queer friendships, not just romance, which is so strong throughout the series.

Thank you Netgalley for this arc!

We rejoin Sapphia and August in this latest edition as their plot for a royal lavender marriage continues. August's hosts his banquet, shenanigans ensue, and more shenanigans pass to solidify their plan further.

I read this in fully in one sitting. I adore Sapphia and August, and their little relationships and individual struggles and joys. We're introduced to new characters, some in a pleasant way, some...less so. This tale is truly disaster gays at it's finest and I love every second of it. 10/10 recommend.

This series continues to be such a delight. The approach to more serious topics in this volume in particular is so well done. The disability representation is so nuanced, queerness is delved into in many ways, and the complicated familial dynamics feel realistic even in an unrealistic world. The art style is so divine. Reading this feels like eating a package of my favorite candy: rainbow colored sweetness that leaves me wanting more. Cannot wait for the next volume!

I enjoyed this second installment in this adorable little series! My complaints about the flatness of Princess Sapphia's character in the first novel were addressed in this installment, and I appreciated the nuance it brought to her. I am looking forward to see where the story goes next. I am intrigued by the witch character (forgot her name!) and want to see more of her!

This book is cute like the first one. I enjoyed how mature Sapphia and Marla were about the situation after the gala. But to be honest this volume kinda gave me middle book vibes. I really wanted to see more about August and Percy dynamic and (hopefully) their oncoming relationship.
The representation was once again on fire though.

I really enjoyed the first volume, so I was super excited to pick this up! I think this storyline is super cute and unique, and I really like the art style.

All the characters are great, and I enjoy the friendships and relationships they have. This also has incredible representation!

I did feel like this one was missing something, compared to the first one. I wish it was a bit longer.

Just like the first volume, this was a lovely and fun read! Returning to Princess Sapphia, Prince August and their friends was very enjoyable. The art style is still cute and works well, and the disability rep was great. On top of the pining and sweet queer crushes, the friendships were also great to see in this volume. I’ll definitely continue on with the series as the next volume comes out!
