I honestly did enjoy this audiobook, the narration was superb also couldn't fault the narrator, while explaining everything throughout.
The only thing I can fault about this audio is that it could of been longer in my opinion as I could of listened to this for another couple of hours.
Thank you to netgallery for letting me listen to this audio.

David McKnight, the author of financial strategy books such as The Power of Zero and the Guru Gap, brings readers an educational, fictional novel highlighting the basics and benefits of his favorite investing principles.
Caleb Calloway is a modern day get rich quick TikTok celebrity with a cult following. He faces his honors thesis defense of the new age investing principles he- and all of his followers- believes works in this new financial era. Unfortunately, the professors on the panel don't see enough evidence to agree and refuse to pass him until he brings more to the table or an entirely different premise. Caleb has exactly one week to create a history of evidence that simply doesn't exist or come up with a new thesis with time proven support that he doesn't believe works in today's markets. With his after graduation job offer on the line, Caleb puts everything into doing whatever it takes to pass.
The penny "cigarette butt" stocks of Warren Buffet's days are long gone, so how can Caleb submit a thesis he doesn't believe works? Our protagonist finds an unlikely mentor in the college janitor, Ron, who suggests he interview seven members of a secret order of millionaires, asking about the investment principles that helped multiply their wealth. Over the course of this parable, Caleb is able to find and learn from them all, utterly changing the foundation of his investment tenets.
Personally, I believe these seven members have nothing to lose by sharing their investment strategies with anyone who asks since there is no limited opportunity, time sensitive information, et. al. That said, readers can quickly move on from the hesitant way McKnight wrote their discussions and focus on the crux of the conversations. This book teaches the inexperienced and wise alike that financial success isn't determined by followers or luckily short selling stocks, but a deep understanding of then actually implementing the principles this book identifies. Probably 😉 I highly encourage readers to Google words and concepts they don't understand as they read so they fully comprehend exactly why, say, you have "required minimum distributions at 75" and why you don't want to pay taxes on it. Or what and how a cash value life insurance policy works- after all, dying sure would put a damper on spending your hard earned money.
While going into more detail in the book would help readers skip their own research, it may put McKnight into a position of liability if readers do not have the return on investment he preaches. This book is a great starting point, but you actually have to buy stocks to begin! Go get some skin in the game.

Teaching financial wisdom through a parable is such a great idea. It takes what can be dry material and brings it to life. I enjoyed The Secret Order of Millionaires, following Caleb on his path from an altcoin/NFT bro to a solid, sound investor. The story is engaging and kept me invested (see what I did there 😁).
The author does a great job of laying the framework for building solid wealth through seven realistic principles. The principles are time-tested and genuinely doable. This short parable is not an exhaustive study, but a bite-sized introduction to get you thinking and hopefully lead you to study further. A great entry point that will encourage young people to start investing now, and maybe even encourage older adults who are not currently investing to begin; it’s not too late to get started. Just take the first step.
Special thanks to the author, BenBella Books, and NetGalley for the gifted copy.

The end gave quite the 6th sense however the major takeaway is to get a financial advisor to tie each principal together.
