Oooh finally a cliffhanger that doesn’t shove you off the ledge lol.

I think I’m gonna be in the minority when I say I liked the first half compared to the second. I liked the build up and the emotions compared to the action in this book. I also love the “is he or isn’t he” when it comes to relationships as well as figuring out your own self while trying to survive in a harsh situation, which is what Cam was doing.

Ngl I feel so bad for Curi. I kinda want him to end up with Cam or at least let it be MFM at the end, bc I ain’t thrilled by Seraph and this book confirmed it for me. I need some major redemption and groveling and love bombing from him bc poor Cam has done so much for him and he’s caused her so much grief and for what?

Looking forward to the next book. I hope we get to see more from the minor characters. I really enjoyed them here, like Melanie.

I am obsessed with this story!

I am so obsessed with the Gargoyles of Stonehaven, I cannot express it enough. I just finished book 3 and I can’t wait to read more and find out what the heck is going on with the Graynites?! They are supposed to be the ultimate big bad and enemies of the Gargoyles but, we get some truth bombs dropped on us at the end of book 3 that may suggest otherwise. I honestly don’t know what to think, it’s just so good. But, I have so many questions now that I need answered lol!

There are a few things that happen at the close of this book that I will NOT spoil but, I will say.. this storyline is keeping me on my toes and I’m so intrigued! I did not expect the news we got at the end of The Stone Curse but, I’m so excited and anxious to find out how it’s going to play out in the next book! Also, if anything happens to Derek (Cam’s shield) I will riot. He is one of the most precious characters I have ever read in my life and I would die for him. Dramatic, I know but, it’s the truth. I love these characters so much!

The Stone Curse continues Cameron’s story where book two left off. Hope you’re ready for a rollercoaster ride because this book is bringing all the feels.
The Stone Curse picks up where the last book left off. Serath has been taken from Cameron. He’s gone. His loss? A shock that vibrates throughout the entire goyle community. Now what? Now, the team is a mess and has to be rebuilt. So many were hurt in the fighting, and so much was loss.
Think the sad times may finally come to an end? Nope! There’s more to come, so grab your tissues and settle in. Cameron is being torn apart by grief, but she still has the trials to deal with. She has to prepare to deal with them and pass them, because everyone is counting on her.
Things are a little touch and go with Cam for me when she’s constantly wanting to lash out, especially at Levi. It’s not right, and whether her friends want to admit it or not...pretty selfish. But this book is a real emotional whirlwind.
We get more POV in this book! From the majority of the group, too!! Absolute score! Let me tell ya! Absolutely devoured those chapters as they give us more insight into each of Cam’s friends. We get some background on them and learning more about who they are. Loved it!
Brace for another cliffhanger. Can’t be helped, but the good news is is that this cliffhanger isn’t as wild, but will leave you chomping at the bit to find out what happens next.
Great story.

Book 3 is here. And this book was no different to the other 2 books in the series I just wasn’t able to put it down from start to finish. The attack on the cadets was devastating and put the academy into lockdown. Cams circle of trust is getting smaller after the betrayal at the end of book 2. Cam has a lot of work to do if she wants to take down the graynite alpha, first she must pass the elites exam to be able to take the alpha down but her grief and need for revenge will help her thru it all. Durning the course of the book more secrets and lies are uncovered. Meaning that cam is forced to realise everything is changing and will change whether that will be for the better or not. Omg I so was not expecting any of that. Dam the way the book ended I need more can’t wait for book 4

Oh wow! So much happens. It's a roller coaster of emotions, events, and revelations!
The teasing of a potential RH is just mean! And the resulting angst explosion from just a taste of something good, well that's just double mean! Spice, smex, and okay smut...but it's never a win. There's no rest for any of them.
The ending cliffhanger wasn't a huge one this time. I'm so bad with keeping too many characters in my head. Part of the revelations in the cliffhanger had me going...who...wait who that?
I'm eager to find out what is going on! What is going to happen! Will this be a HEA or a bitter sweet punch?

Poof! There went every thought from my head. Completely erased by everything surrounding that ending. Every answer Cam uncovers only leads to more questions; and I’m desperate for the answers to them all! This book sucked me in and took me for a roller-coaster ride – and not just an emotional one. The drama, angst, and revelations kept me gasping for breath. I NEED the next book! I MUST have it NOW!
I received a complimentary advance copy of this book from the author.

I'm speechless...
And that's quite problematic when I'm supposed to write down what I liked and loved about "The Stone Curse". I could try and post a picture of my flabbergasted face, but that would probably not help in any way either.

For some reason, I thought "The Stone Curse" was going to be the final book in the Gargoyles of Stonehaven series. Be aware: it's not. This book made me pull out strands of my hair because of all of the angst, anguish and heartbreak that's present, and I'm almost desperate for these characters to find their HEA. I'm not only talking about the two main characters, but also about a whole bunch of side characters who managed to carve out a place in my heart. I'm just not sure we will get that within the boundaries of this series, and that makes a little ambivalent about reading the next book.

This third book in the series finally provides some answers, but in the meantime it opens up a whole can filled with new questions. It becomes even harder to know who is trustworthy, and how everything is ultimately connected, and I don't know what to expect anymore. The next book can't come fast enough.

Well, that was unexpected. I just finished this, and boy was it a wild ride. Poor Cam is dealing with the loss of a loved one, but of course, she still needs to train and figure out a few things that she’s been working on. Yes, I’m being vague because too much would reveal surprises. Speaking of surprises, there’s a few to be had in this, and a couple are doozies. This author always keeps you guessing and on your toes. A heart-breaking, jaw-dropping, intense book filled with great writing and fascinating characters. Wonderful addition to the series. Highly recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

This series is just keeping me on my toes and I cannot get enough of it. Again I just absolutely adore Derek and hope that he gets his own book. He is just the best and my absolute favorite character in the book besides Serath.
With this book I just feel horrible for poor Cam. Everything she is going through, the pain, the suffering everything. Like how much can one take before just breaking. In the end of the last book I had hope that Serath would be ok but it seems Serath has been killed and taken by the graynites. This is just absolutely devastating for her since they were mates. It feels like her other half has been ripped from her.
She is broken without him. Just barely fucnting and trying to heal but is still expected to continue her trading and move on like nothing happened. To make matters worse she is struggling with vivid dreams of Searath that feel so real to her that she is struggling with accepting his death. Then there is her ever growing relationship with Curi. She feels for him but her feelings for Searath are stronger and even with him gone she struggles to move on. Curi is struggling with this and still trying to be there for her as a friend. And then she is also try to navigate her relationship with her ex Levi. He is a bit jealous of her with others and seems like he wants her back. So she is dealing with all of this while still training for the upcoming trials she has to pass to become an Elite to be able to battle the greynites. Oh and let’s not forget that it seems like what they’re being told about greynites and seems to be a lie. Cam and her friends are starting to question things the more they learn. So I keep hoping that Cam will get a break but it seems like it just never ending. I do have hope for her to still get her happy ending I just know it’s still probably a ways off still especially with the way the twist comes in towards the ending. I’m excited to see what is going to happen in the next book but also a little nervous.

It feels like forever since I've read the previous book and I forgot how good this series is. However, the moment I realized that a Stone Curse was being released I got that tingly feeling of anticipation and I remembered why I loved this series so much.

Well, this is a different version of Cam, she has some serious anger issues, which is understandable, I'm just glad that she's taking the support her friends offer her. She has such a great friend group, most of whom had their own crap to handle, I'm still love reading from all the different povs. Speaking of love. I love the evolution of Cam's and Curi's friendship, they went from enemies to frenemies to true friends. They have a supportive and caring relationship now, just when Cam needs it.

This book has a more somber tone, a lot has happened attacks, betrayal, grief, and more. However, we got so many answers, a lot of them unexpected to downright shocking. And those answers we got led to even more betrayal and bigger questions. It's just one thing after another and I felt compelled to just keep reading.

The Stone Curse rocked my world, it was freaking awesome! And that ending, talk about plot twists, that last one was a whopper. Just when I thought this series couldn't get any better it goes and blows my freaking mind. I'm expecting a lot out of Stone Survival, that is if I can survive the wait. Get it, haha.

I absolutely loved the first two books of this series. I’m pretty sure I binged both within a day. I was eagerly anticipating this book and… it wasn’t my favorite. It was definitely a struggle to get through about 2/3 of the book but then that magic reappeared from the first two books. I couldn’t stop reading, it just took a little bit longer to get there.

We left with such a cliffhanger in book 2 and I needed answers. It took awhile and the answers were worth it, and I feel like there are even more questions than anticipated. I love it because it’s such an interesting story. I love the world that this author has created, I love the side characters as much as the main characters, and I just want to know more about the lore and the history.

The purpose of the beginning of the book was to set the tone and background for what was to come. However, I think that after all of the action we had experienced, I wanted maybe more of a quicker pace. Thankfully, the last bit of the book made it worth it, but I felt like I couldn’t get into this book as quick as I did with previous stories.

With all these new revelations, I cannot wait to dive into the next book. I feel like the magic is coming back, especially since we didn’t have an on-the-edge-of-your-seat cliffhanger, we were left with the promise of knowledge which is exactly what I want.

Cameron is trying to maneuver life after incredible loss. Seraph is gone, but Cam must continue her mission to rescue her brother and now avenge her fallen mate. There is A LOT of sorrow and angst not only for Cam, but for many of the side characters. Cameron and her group rally together to get through it all so it was great to see that they were there for each other and no one was left alone

Poor Curi just felt like a crutch being used to get her through this difficult time to possibly be thrown away once he was no longer needed to be her emotional support person. With no real regard for how this emotional rollercoaster is affecting him.

I wish I could be team Seraph, but the way he used her in a way more ugly way than she is currently using Curi just made it too impossible. The whole I have to repeatedly hurt you to keep you away from me because I care so much about you is so immature that I simply cannot. No lie it didn't help that I got a some Tamlin vibes for a second. Like seriously at the first opportunity you got to say or do something helpful this is the route you take.

The third book in the gargoyle romance saga is an absolute whirlwind of feelings that had me on the edge of my seat. This book is intense – think heartache, shock, and a cliffhanger that'll have you yelling at the book. Seriously, I was an emotional wreck by the end, and I loved every second of it.

Our girl Cam faces some of her toughest challenges yet. The losses hit hard, and watching her struggle and rise above them is both heart-wrenching and incredibly inspiring. Her journey is raw and real, making you feel right there with her through all the ups and downs. The friendships and alliances in Cam's life are more important than ever, proving that together, they can face anything.

Plot twists? Oh, they're here, and they're genius. Just when you think you've got things figured out, the story flips, leaving you scrambling and needing answers. The suspense is killer, making it one of those "just one more chapter" kinds of reads.

And that cliffhanger – wow, just wow. It leaves you desperate for the next book, full of questions and theories about what's coming next. The anticipation is real, and I'm already counting down the days until the next release.

After the attack on the academy, the betrayal from within, and the deep loss for Cameron, the danger becomes even more real. Without an elite team, there are not enough protectors against the graynites, and the world as they know it may fall. While Cameron and her friends are preparing for the elite trials, Cam is also deeply grieving, while trying to understand her own nature, her feelings for Levi and Curi, and find out the remaining secrets, starting with what happened to Melanie..
This series is such a rollercoaster. There are secrets so masterfully hidden you can never see the twists coming. There is always so much drama in the complicated relationships, characters put into difficult and challenging situations. No one is ever safe. No one is ever secure or certain of any facts. There is always so much going on. The writing is brilliant, with the exact amount of details to build a complex world that feels real but not overwhelming the reader with them and slowing the pace. And the characters are simply amazing in their complexity, believable with their emotions, strengths, and flaws. I absolutely loved the book and can't wait enough for the next book to come.

Oh this was so good! I have run through the full gambit of emotions with this one. I was NOT expecting the ending. The questions that are piling up are going to drive me mad.

Cam, oh boy, she has been put through the ringer in this one. Dealing with the loss of people she loved, losing teammates, trying to push through the grief. Good golly what a ride. The strength it takes to get up after losing someone so important is incredible. Cam's support system is strong and they will not let her fail.

Curi, pffft... I love him so much. The amount of strength it takes to give what he gives and not abuse that power? It has to be incredibly difficult to love someone that you simply cannot have. I feel for his character, like truly feel heartbroken for him. Will he get an HEA? How? I have many questions.

The amount of questions that I have is unending. The few that were answered, created more. The wait until the next book is going to haunt me. I screamed when this one showed up. I cannot wait!!

The Stone Curse by Debbie Cassidy is book three in the Gargoyles of Stonehaven Series. This was another well done book in the series, I will mention that you must read the other books before this one. I couldn’t put this book down, I read it in one sitting. It became just one more chapter mentality for me. This read definitely took my emotions on one heck of a trip. I felt so bad for Cam as she struggled in this book but on the same token I was rooting for her when she tried to get above it all. The writing was really good as I could feel what the characters were feeling as I was reading. What I found to be really cool was when I thought I had things figured out; boom…plot twist. I have so many questions that I need answers but I have to wait for the next book. Also this does end in a cliffhanger so be prepared for that. The writing was so good and the plot progressed in a way that kept me hooked. I also enjoyed how I was able to picture different parts of the book with such clarity. I’m one hundred percent looking forward to book four.

OMG! This series is just so thrilling!

I absolutely adore Debbie Cassidy’s PNR books… and this one was fantastic. This is the 3rd book within the Gargoyles of Stonehaven series, and it’s ramping up. After the horrible failure of the last trial where Cam witnessed Serath being killed, I had no idea how Cam would be able to survive without her mate. A lot of craziness happens but they still must prepare for the Elite team trials, and she discovers that her ex, Levi, will be taking Serath’s place. She discovers a lot more about her Fae heritage and why she has monthly “needings” that ultimately Curi helps her with. But she keeps having dreams about Serath, until she is certain that he is still alive but being held by the Granites.

There was soooo much that happened in this book, but I really don’t want to ruin the journey for you. OMG though… that ending!!! I cannot WAIT to find out what happens next!

I received a free copy of this book via the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The Stone Curse, book three in the Gargoyles of Stonehaven series is of course another well written read by this author. I would recommend reading this series in order so that you do not miss any previous details that are a must know.

Having said that Stone Curse travels along Debbie's usual writing style of a well written book. She had me all over the place, I just could not put down my kindle until i finished.

Cam I so on her side and how she is struggling and you know what, she is making it. She is a strong character lead that I can get behind. The writing is so good I could literally feel the emotions of the characters.

Also a side note, another thing of Debbie's that I love she always puts in her writing is that you are reading along and you think you have everything figured out, nope!! Plot twist. She is so good at these. It is one of the reasons I love reading her stories.

Overall a great addition to the Gargoyles of Stonehaven series and I cannot wait for more, especially after that cliffy.

The Stone Curse - Amazing Series Continues

“Your fears and doubts aren’t always real, Cameron. They aren’t always valid. It’s up to you to weed out what is true and what is false and find the balance that will allow you to be the best version of yourself. Our past experiences don’t have to define us.” He smiled wryly. “We can take away from them what serves to make us better people and leave the chaff behind.” I wanted so desperately to believe that, but… “And what if we can’t? What if I can’t?” His smile fell. “Then you’ll fail. It’s as simple as that.”

Cameron continues to fight against the graynites and the hidden forces that are keeping her and her friends’ lives in peril. There is still so much happening in Debbie Cassidy’s The Stone Curse, book 3 in her Gargoyles of Stonehaven series. Cameron and her shield, Derek, continue to develop their relationship, as Derek becomes more independent. Levi finds himself in charge and facing changes of his own. Finding and rescuing her brother Romi continues to tie family and friends together.

Serath is fighting all kinds of internal and external battles to get back to Cameron, while Cam uses every opportunity to find her fated mate again. The battles, big and small, fill each exquisite page of this fantasy-action-adventure-romance!

This is book 3 in the series and you need to have read the previous books first.

After the betrayal from book 2 this book is all about the building of relationships between everyone in Cam's circle. They are becoming a true found family, trusting each other and also relaxing when they can. At least until the end with the Elite trials and then we get a cliffhanger, but I am so looking forward to what this means for book 3.

Cam has gone from having nobody to being part of this amazing group of friends who feel like family.

I love that Cam and Serath are not the only relationships within the group, especially with how book 2 ended. Even though this book is MF, I am getting some definite why choose vibes within the group, but I'm not sure it will go anywhere though.

In true DC style, the world-building and plots that weave through the story will keep you turning those pages wanting to know what's in store for the characters.

Such a great series!

The way this series has evolved has been amazing. It started off so simple with Cam wanting to do whatever she could to find her brother. Since the first book she has had to overcome so much, but in The Stone Curse she is challenged beyond anything she's faced before.

The way she fights through her grief and loss in this book really shows her true strength. And the way her friends stand with her is what true friendship and family looks like. She'll need them, and so does the academy because the betrayal from the last book has left everyone scrambling to fill the Elite team positions. Plus it has left Cam wondering who is trustworthy.

The questions that surround the Granites made me desperate for the answers. They are coming, but I'm impatient and need them now. That nice little cliffhanger definitely didn't help either. I can't wait for the next book!

"Elite trials are in less than three weeks and you won't be taking them alone."
The Elites are in disarray. With the team almost wiped out in one way or another they need to come up with a new team and fast. Obviously Cameron will be standing for the Basque line but who will be going with her?
There was so much to deal with in this book for the characters and the reader! Loss, betrayal, shocks, surprises, heartache, the storyline will grip the reader while for every question that is answered another one appears. I thought this book would be the last one but when i started nearing the end of the book with the storyline still going strong I knew it wasn't wrapping up with this one. I was waiting for the cliffhanger and it was a very unexpected revelation. This book has pulled me in so much that I just know I am going to have a hard time stopping thinking about it and am willing the next book to come quickly. It can't come quick enough!

The Stone Curse: Gargoyles of Stonehaven Book 3 by Debbie Cassidy is a paranormal romance. Definately read the first 2 books before starting this as it picks up where the last book left off. Cameron and cadets have been attacked and Seraph has been taken and killed. The gargoyles must now create an elite team to fight the alpha. As the cadets reel from the losses they try to work together to discover the truth and find out who the mole is before its too late.
The world-building in this books is phenomenal and just when I've thought I've learned everything I'm given more! I love the characters and how their interactions continue to change as they all grow. There is plenty of action and surprises in this book that leave readers with almost as many new questions as have been answered. Thr ending was perfect things were tied up nicely but were still.left with a little cliffhanger that left me desperate for more once again. I bimge read this book in one day and was sad to see it end!

Debbie Cassidy has done it again with the third installment to her Gargoyles of Stonehaven series, The Stone Curse! If you fell in love with Cam, Derek, Seraph, her fabulous group of friends and the academy itself in the first two then you need this one in your life—especially to help heal the heartbreak of that last ending! In this story Cam is finally getting some of the answers she’s been looking for, and learns more about herself as she deals with continued betrayal, heartbreak, and non stop emotional hits. Debbie Cassidy does a phenomenal job of sucking you right into the story with her master world building and taking you in an emotional roller coaster of a ride with her characters, and this one was no different.

Full of betrayal, deceit, twists and turns and of course steamy goodness this one will leave you wanting more—so much so that the next one can’t come soon enough! If you love a good paranormal fated mates romance then this is the one for you!

This is the third installment in the Gargoyles of Stonehaven series. You don't want to miss the amazing first two books that lay the groundwork for this one. We pickup with Cameron facing the loss of her mate while trying to make the elite trials. This part was done so well where you feel like your living the moments along with Cam. Her friends are nothing short of amazing and a huge part of why I love this series! They are the strength when Cam doesn't know how. Cam starts having unique dreams that make her question what she truly saw at the end of boom two. Then during the trials comes the unexpected. The last chapters give you hope, love and a nice twist. I truly loved it! This series is amazing! It has become another favorite series from Debbie Cassidy and it's not even over! If you've made it this far your wasting time not reading this series...so go go go

I voluntarily reviewed copy of "THE STONE CURSE"
It's an intense riviting adventurous rollercoaster ride full of danger, suspense, intrigue, revenge, angst, grief, secrets, lies, betrayal, trust issues, twists that keeps you turning the pages.
Cam's not sure who she can trust after the debating attack on academy cadets it's someone on the inside their on lockdown.
Cam's looking to take & pass the e, it's exam in hopes to take down the Graynite Alpha, full of grief & revenge will help her get through this task.
I definitely recommend to get this intense adventure when secrets & lies are revealed Cam knows things are changing maybe it'll be for the better & maybe not, will these characters get their HEA.
I'm looking forward to the next book in Gargoyle Stonehaven need ASAP to see what's going to happen it can't come soon enough after that ending.

This series just keep getting better and better!
This is book 3 in the series and ohhh my world lots of things happen.
I have to admit that it was a shock to the system cause the trauma that book 2 left lived on in book 3.
An amazing rollercoaster of emotions and filled with action that i was unable to put down.
The relationships between the gang grows stronger and damn it i need more of Curi!
The plot keeps getting thicker and thicker and daaaaamn it every time you think you know what you are doing and where this is going eveything is changing and more questions pop up.
The writer has given us some excellent characters that are so well written and have depth and she makes you feel the as they are real.
I truly can't wait to see what will happen next cause despite the fact i thought this would be the final book it is not!!
The author has more in store for us and i can't wait!.

The Stone Curse is the 3rd book in the Gargoyles of Stonehaven series. It picks up pretty much where book 2 leaves off. I loved reading The Stone Curse as it kept me busy wondering how were things going to end for Cam and her friends. I loved the build up and the excitement that Cam and her friends went through and cried at the tragedy from their losses that they endured; but the shocker was at the end... I now have many questions.
Cam is strong and courageous with her friends Shar, Tor, Curi, Levi and the twins to keep her busy before the major elite testing. Cam's shield is Derek but the other gargoyles keep their shields within their bodies.. Cam is an exception as she has Fae blood in her.
My favorite part is near the end and it left me with a surprise and shock and questions.
So, if you like action, Moody females, protective mates then this book is for you.

Well holy forking shirtballs! The author blew that one out of the park! Where do I have the option to give it 10, no, 100 stars?! It's not often I get to the end of a book and actually swear out loud but this one did just that for me. There were a fair few expletives when I reached the end, especially with that cliffhanger ending.

Cam is devastated after book two, with the death of another character her heart is broken and she's left reeling from it, but life must still go on and she has a mission and a purpose to fulfill.

At this point, I'm not sure if this book is gonna somehow end up as a why choose but I'm there for it whether it does or doesn't. Now I also know I'm going to have to sit here waiting patiently for the next book to come out because I need to know what happens next.
