Agneeshikha is a published author, mostly of peer-reviewed research papers and academic book chapters, where the drama is strictly theoretical. Born and raised in India, she has lived in London and Milan, and now in some mist laden town in Switzerland. By day, she is a researcher, navigating the world of academia with citations and conference deadlines. By night (and after at least five cups of coffee), she trades footnotes for fiction, writing stories filled with slow-burn romance, goofy MMCs, witty banter, and characters who may or may not suffer from existential crisis.

This is among of the anthologies of love and compassion that everyone seeks in their respective lives. From very beginning I felt like patched with the emotions that were poured in each of the stories. I left reading romance genre way back but I feel sometimes we all need rejuvenation of the feelings hidden deep down in our heart.


Here is a bit of synopsis of each of the 3 stories:

Story #1 : This is a story about a couple (would be) Sid and Anvika. It is a charming and emotionally layered story about friendship, hesitation and the quiet courage of love. Set in modern-day London, it follows two close friends—Anvika, a city resident living with her family, and Sid, a work permit holder navigating life alone—who both hide their true feelings behind the safety of friendship. When Ian, Anvika’s charismatic boss, enters the picture, she is momentarily drawn into the allure of success in love and admiration. Yet, as life unfolds, she realizes that genuine affection and understanding lie in Sid’s quiet companionship. With its tender portrayal of unspoken emotions and second chances, the story beautifully reminds readers that love often blooms where it has been all along—just waiting for courage to catch up.


Story #2 : A Couple, Alex and Jennifer, about whom is this a tender yet bittersweet tale of love caught between dreams and reality. Once English major classmates, their connection blossoms into love—only to be strained by the harsh divide of financial status. While Jennifer moves into a corporate HR internship, Alex delivers parcels for DHL but quietly nurtures his gift for writing. Choosing distance over discomfort, he channels his emotions into a book—his silent promise to bridge the gap between them. Though the story sometimes drifts from realistic bounds, its heart beats with hope, reminding readers that miracles do happen and that love often lives most truly in those who care deeply yet step back to protect the bond they treasure.
Both of these characters are so realistic that for once you feel like living that moment with them.
Jennifer's presented as a girl that every man wants for his partner. We need to feel that there is someone who actually understand our feelings, “I’m just more conscious now. I value your money. Your hardwork… I have feelings for you, Alex, and that doesn’t change based on what you can or can’t buy. I’m with you. All the way.” (Jennifer)
And Equally responsible Male character who knew what this society demands of him and he have to bear that till he made something out of him for his family and to uplift his societal image. “I know you do. But your eyes have pity when they look at me. It’s sympathy. And I can’t live with that.” (Alex)

I say, "What matter most is not just the right person, but at the right time."


Story #3 : About Elliana and Spencer, it is a heart-stirring tale of love born in silence and serendipity. Set against the bustling backdrop of London’s tube trains, the story begins with two strangers whose eyes meet amid the hum of everyday commuters. Though Elliana and Spencer never exchange a single word on that fateful journey, their quiet connection lingers, weaving fate’s invisible thread through chance encounters and missed moments until love finally finds its voice. Tender, atmospheric and deeply romantic, this book captures the magic of unspoken emotions and the beauty of destinies that unfold in their own time (with the help of Cupid 😉)

Overall, it is a very lovely book and will surely give butterflies to most or all of its readers. Surely it needs to be produced into a 'direct to tv' movie in parts or in wholesome as one. Loved reading it both as a Beta reader and then as an ARC reviewer.

What an incredibly cutesy and cozy read this was😍🥰🫂 I had such a wonderful time with this book-stories like this always feel like a warm, comforting hug, and the author is officially becoming the mother of cozy and adorable storytelling for me.🥰❣️

The book features three stories written in a simple, accessible style. The pacing is quick, making this novella a perfect weekend read. I genuinely adored every character, but Sid and Anvika completely won my heart. They are my favorite couple in the whole book.❣️🥰

This was such a fun, sweet, and engaging read. I found myself fully invested from start to finish. The entire experience felt like watching a short 4–5 episode K-drama-filled with charm, soft moments, delightful tension, and just the right touch of angst. The romance had me grinning, reacting out loud, and feeling every emotion along the way.🔥🤌🏼😍

While I loved the writing, there were moments where the pacing felt a bit too fast, and I do wish the stories had been just a little longer. Still, it remained a warm, adorable, and romantic read overall.

If you enjoy K-dramas, quick and cozy reads, friends-to-lovers and strangers-to-lovers, the right-person-wrong-time trope, and clean/no-spice romances, then this book is the perfect pick for your weekend. 💖📚✨

An older, Tube station Cupid tells a younger, web-based Cupid three of his success stories as an example of what being Cupid should really be about - none of this 'swipe right' stuff. And so we get to enjoy three short and sweet stories of finding love, with possibly a little assistance from Cupid.

This book left me feeling happy. Okay, that's not always all I'm looking for in a book, but sometimes it's exactly what I need. The stories, while short, still feel meaningful and beautiful - and I love the writing. It could easily be overdone but the use of language is great. I particularly liked the description, "He stepped in looking like the human version of a low-battery warning." So, great writing, happy-making stories - count me in!

This was a super fun quick read! It was a wonderful change of pace from what I had been reading and I really enjoyed the story! You get sucked into this world and very invested in these amazing characters!

I loved the way the story was written because it feels like love is the central point but each story of love is about the tiny things here and there!

But he also reaches a moment where he knows he has to speak up if he ever wants a chance beyond the friend zone. Their shift from familiar comfort to something deeper is so sweet and satisfying.

• Alex and Jennifer have a spark that the reader spots instantly, but real life keeps throwing up roadblocks. We get glimpses of what they could be together, only to watch timing, family obligations, and financial imbalance make them hesitate. Their story holds this lovely tension between possibility and pause, and the way things unfold toward the end is both thoughtful and full of hope.

• Spencer and Elliana completely stole my heart. Their soft, slow burn begins with the sweetest glances across a train platform. She’s new to the city, he’s stuck in a job that drains him, and somehow their quiet moments across the train spark the brightest hope. Even when schedules shift and life gets in the way, you can’t help but rooting for them.

What ties everything together is the charming narration from Cupid himself, adding humor, warmth, and a unique lens that makes the whole collection stand out. Light, heartfelt, and endlessly endearing, this is the perfect palate cleanser that still gives you all the feels.

This book turned out to be such an unexpected read that I ended up finishing it in a single sitting.

Yes, you heard it right. I've read two of Agneeshikha's books before. One, a cozy comfort read and the other one, a hilariously chaotic rom-com and both left me impressed with her storytelling. So naturally, I went into this book with high expectations. And truly, she exceeded every single one. (Di you have my heart)

Now, This story stands out because of how unique and refreshing the narrative style is. It's told through the perspective of a Cupid who is recounting three matches he made to another Cupid. This setup gives the whole book a whimsical charm, it's like you aren't just reading but experiencing three amazing love stories. Despite being a short read, it never once feels incomplete or rushed and that is what makes the author an amazing storyteller.

What surprised me the most was how emotionally engaging the three relationships were. My heart was connecting to each one. Each story was so beautiful and realistic and Charming. Among the three green flags the story gives us, Sid absolutely stole my heart. The moment he appeared on the page, I fell in love. He's that perfect "husband-material" kind of man, not in an unrealistic, "too good to be true" way, but someone who feels attainable in real life. He's considerate, grounded, and deeply genuine. The kind of character who not only makes you swoon but also gives you hope that men like him truly exist. (I felt really bad for him in the beginning)
I also adored Alex, another standout green flag in the story. He's such a good guy. He's warm, sincere, and quietly charming in a way that makes you fall for him instantly. Both Sid and Alex bring so much heart into their respective stories, making the entire reading experience even more delightful.

Overall, Change Here for Cupid Central is a sweet, warm, and effortlessly engaging read that leaves you smiling by the end. A must-read for anyone who loves mini love stories wrapped in charm and Cupid mischief. And I'll say it again, Agneeshikha Di's stories are like a warm hug

Have you ever wondered how Cupid works? Or Cupids in this case? In this lovely book, Agneeshikha gives us a Cupid Inc., where they discuss the best techniques for making people fall in love, and you follow an old-fashioned cupid sharing his stories with a younger and modern one, trying to convince him of the effectiveness of the "old ways". It feels like Love Actually on the Piccadilly Line. Absolutely loved every second of it, feeling in many moments, just like the new cupid, falling in love with love.
