I voluntarily reviewed "LAST FLAME" I thoroughly enjoyed the journey these characters take you on, theres emotional turmoil, frustration, horrible ex, danger, secrets, steam, you won't be able to put down.
Jack Greyson is a firefighter & his ex-Cara is threatening to take his daughter Harper away saying his job is to dangerous & he leaves her when working.
Ellie is Harpers nanny next door she's well looked after never alone when Cara calls saying the judge won't give him custody thats when pretending Jack & Ellie are fake engaged will hopefully change things.
Jack when he sees Ellie with Harper feelings for her become stronger & she feels the same.
Jack & Ellie get together & when she sees the pink lines, will they end up getting their HEA & get rid of Cara threatening to take Harper away for good, a must read to see what happens.

Couldn't finish
I tried but couldn't get into this story. No buildup or background storyline, 1st day for nanny to be there but the writing is like they've been around each other for days already. The nanny hasn't even unpacked yet. 2nd day he's already leaning in to kiss her? Maybe it's more of a fast paced novella, I needed more to invest into the characters and gave up, just didn't hold my interest.
