Double Booked By The Orc Next Door

Rate this book
When our apartment flooded, my boyfriend and I only needed a couch for a few nights.
What we got was a six-foot-nine orc with green skin, tattoos, and the softest smile I’ve ever seen.

Orrik doesn’t talk much, but when he does, his voice rumbles through the walls and straight through me. He cooks breakfast shirtless, fixes everything that squeaks, and somehow makes my sweet, buttoned-up boyfriend turn the same color as his flannel.

It was supposed to be temporary.
Then the teasing turned into touches.
Then my boyfriend started looking at Orrik the way he used to look at me.
Now none of us can stop wondering what would happen if we stopped pretending this isn’t exactly what we all want.

A cozy, high-heat monster rom-com
• a grumpy cinnamon-roll orc next door
• a curious, shy-but-hot boyfriend in full bisexual awakening
• shared laughter, domestic chaos, and steamy discovery
• an emotionally safe, very spicy HEA for all three

Good but…

I liked it up until the end. There was a major scene in beginning of the book that was written again almost verbatim but with Orrik and Evan switched around and then a scene with Tess was done again almost the exact same but Orrik and Evan sharing the same hole. Ironically that was kind of a turn off for me. Aside from that it was a fun and sexy read and I enjoyed it.

Ai. DNF at 44% because I was able to skim most of what I read because so much of each page said exactly the same thing and I was hopefully something might change. Then I remembered entire books and author are being computer generated and it’s such a sad thing
