The ending of the Cosmic Garou vs Saitama fight was somewhat underwhelming, but that's very understandable. The only way we could see a character like Saitama engage in a serious fight would be to use time travel at the end. Otherwise, there wouldn’t be anyone left beside him to move the story forward with.
Also who the hell are those shadowy guys that Blast hangs out with?

Saitama vs Garou.
Dengan 100 push-up, 100 sit-up, 10 km lari setiap hari selama 3 tahun, ia berhasil mendapatkan kekuatan tiada tanding itu.
Dale Carnegie bilang “The deepest principle in human nature is the craving to be appreciated.”

Technically my review carries over to v34, which the the fight at Jupiter (which I think will actually be part of v34, but that isn't released yet). Everything preceding that moment was good, but the art and the fight take a massive step in this volume. The Jupiter panels are so high quality I'd hang them on my walls. And the storyline is great, with Saitama intensely gripping Genos' core the whole fight, thus doing it one-handed.
He's holding on the past, to what he lost due to his hubris of always being late. Time proves to be Saitama's ultimate enemy, unconquered. At least, until the end of this fight where he conquers time and beats Garo with zero punches. It's incredible.
Now, there was a stupid fart joke, but it just reminds you how silly all this is. This was a great finale to the arc, and honestly would be a great stopping point to the series. I'm glad we were able to reach great heights again, like we saw at the start of the series.

This volume is a solid four in its absurdity right up until it gets serious and has a few pages of actual emotional development that I would give an easy five. It almost feels like ONE slams the breaks on what is an otherwise exceedingly goofy fight and flexes his own muscles just to prove he can as an author. I applaud the moment, but I had to reread it several times because the pacing shift was so instant and disruptive I was not sure if it was real. I wish more of the books in the series carried the weight of the ending of this book. Rip Genos.

The Saitama vs Garo fight is underway, and it is so intense that these men are literally changing the landscape of the Earth itself, which is peak shonen. It's very funny that every time Garo does something evil, he actually accidentally saves people, and then Saitama makes fun of him for it.
The volume ends though with some sort of omnipotent, evil god taking control of Garo, literally ripping Genos heart/core out, and us getting SERIOUS Saitama. We've only seen normal hits from Saitama, so him getting serious has the potential to destroy the universe. Next volume, please.

The time has come for the strongest hero and the killer of heroes to clash, and their battle will be one that shakes Garou to his core - but something...someone...is watching, and they had decided to offer him a power that may be even too much for Saitama's prowess to survive...ONE and Murata will keep fans glued to every panel with another bombastic entry. Will Garou willingly accept the aid of an unknown variable to defeat Saitama?

WOOO de los mejores numeros ever. Goooood shit.

The first half of the book is all-out action! This book was a quick read, but if you have been following the series, it was an amazing payoff! I found myself clamoring for the next volume because this just delivered on all fronts for me! This series gets me so pumped I am eyeing the new Funko Pops to scratch the fandom itch! I have said this before, but some panels need to be posters! MUST READ if you enjoy a good fun manga!

It boggles my mind to think that this series seems to put off the conclusion by one more volume each time I read it, and moreso knowing there are still EIGHT more volumes that have yet to be published in English or written altogether. It's beginning to feel a bit stretched, but I will dutifully continue reading.

Structurally fine but seems hurried
The pass couple of volumes seem as if the creators are missing deadlines, lots of big "splash pages", title blocks, with minimal story, reminds me of Image Comics Books during the 90s, still a fan just a bit disappointed because it seems hurried. Overall, the book is fine, artwork is great but the flow is rushed.

Okay, Saitama trying to convince Garou that he would be better off as a hero is a far better idea than I could’ve come up with. It’s super in character. What a gut punch of an ending too… Just incredible.

The best fight I have ever seen in a manga. The art and detail of the panels was insane. As expected between saitama and garou. Saitama switching from serious and unserious will always be funny. It was a bit confusing though. I hope they animate this well.

November 23, 2025My review for the whole One-Punch-Man manga as of Sunday the 23rd of November 2025:
Flashy-flash the underrated goat of OPM. Zombie man is also goated.
Post monster association arc I would prefer if they made Flashy-flash the main character.

Banger, the entire monster association arc is incredible. There is so much tension and action that somehow manages to build and build and build. Every character serves a purpose within the story and help drive and reiterate the narrative.

The epicness of the fight between Saitama and Garo was lackluster because it is so huge that literal pages are black and that wasn't to most enjoyable reading experience. I wonder how the fight will end though?

The Epic Ending.
After all this time it felt like this arc was over in a whoosh of hot air.
We took a brief journey into despair and will now be returning to hairless silliness.
