Zombies Ate the Neighbors 5 - Kill, Eat, Repeat

With book 5, it’s time to start thinning the herd. Page one rips the Band-Aid off, right when you thought you'd have a second to breathe. Will Gabriel make it out of the barn alive? Will Mike, Addy and Nikki have a chance in hell of making it to the bus? Last but not least, can Frank find shelter for his crew and keep them all alive in the process? These questions and more will be answered. And of course, your favorite characters may find themselves in some new predicaments along the way!

After 56 books I have finally made the decision that the about the author section is my least favorite thing ever, no really. The idea of writing about myself is about as exciting as watching paint dry. I know what you are thinking but you are an author. To be honest, I'm just like you, a regular guy/gal that lives in the Midwest. I'm married with two amazing kids(most days) and one very energetic rescued dog named Maggie. If I am not working on new tales of horror then you can usually find me on a motorcycle hauling a$$ down the highway or working on a new recipe with my daughter. The stories I write will make you think that I get some sort of sick pleasure stringing you along page after page...well, I do, but it's cheaper than therapy. I have been releasing since 2014 and still have a lot of nightmares up my sleeve yet to write.

Good Reads

I just knew the group on the bus was going to make it. I was worried about the bus having problems, not human error. I'd like to be with Gabriel during the apocalypse out of everybody because he's not only a trained killer but he's a thinker. Yeah he can die like everyone else but he knows what it takes to survive. Then my next choice would be Earl. He's a pain but he's good with firearms plus he's good for some laughs. My third choice would be Frank. He's got skills but its not like you get a choice. I feel like this book was shorter but it was still full of action and humor. The best part is the books are already done and I don't have to wait.

OMG

I don’t know who to feel sorrier for, the old couple in the farmhouse, Frank on the run for his life, the kids on the bus or Mike and company. At the moment Gabriel and Forsyth are the only two who aren’t currently in fear for their lives. But of course Mike could drop the hammer on them at any minute.
I love the humor sprinkled hither and yon, it just enhances the moment.
On to book 6!

All my friends are dead!

Or soon would be. It's great to see our friends and heroes back in action, but not against overwhelming dead numbers! The dead are raining from the sky. Literally! The parachutes disconnecting as they landed. Hunger drives them. No pain. No feeling. Just raw naked hunger.
Great characters, drawn from the pages of some favorite series. They know how to fight and kill. Now let's see how they fight the dead! Amazing storyline! We already know the characters. Now we see how they handle the dead dropping on them from the sky. This is a good read!
