Okay soooo much better than book 1, like by A LOT oh my god!!! I mean no surprise he’s in the mafia and he’s a single daddy… SINGLE DADDY MAFIA MEN >>>>>> new obsession unlocked. That alone is gonna make me fold. Like the first one it was bit insta lust which isn’t my fave, but it makes sense because the books are so short. I do wish it was a little longer so the ending wasn’t as rushed! Mikhail and Bianca were cute as hell, and I love me a broken man so Mikhail had me sat. The way Bianca loved him pulled at my hearts strings 😭😭😭 AND HIM SPEAKING IN RUSSIAN TO HER JUST DID SOMETHING TO ME I CANT HELP IT IM JUST A GIRL.

"I'll be honest, this was very surface level as far as character development and plot...and I say that because I felt in my gut the whole time that the author was capable of adding that extra level of oooomph needed to make it truly great...

Regardless, this was solidly written for what it is: A smutty arranged marriage mafia romance.

The softest, sweetest, cutest and the most wholesome mafia romance book I have ever read. Everything in this book was so achingly sweet and comforting and I loved every second of it. The plot wasn't much exciting because it was mindless but the main characters made the story and romance beautiful and exceptional. It was simple, genuine, pure and too sweet.

This man makes me wanna do crazy things for him. Morally grey single daddy 😋 and a scarred hero who deems himself unworthy of love and happiness (SMASH). A Bratva Butcher, that's what they call him, Mikhail is dangerous and brutal, but inside he's just a biggest cinnamon roll. I wasn't expecting him to be a single dad and the fact that he raised Lena all by himself and did an astounding job at that (SMASH). His past broke my heart and he deserves only happiness. The way he loves and protects Bianca and would kill for her, die for her, crawl for her, beg for her, worships her, and would absolutely do anything she tells him to do because he is obsessed with her. He stalked her for three hours in a mall so no man gawked at his beautiful wife because he is that petty and possessive when it comes to Bianca and threatened her father by plunging the pen in his hand because he is as unhinged like that for her, but also made efforts at making cookies for his daughter because he is just a softy when it comes to Lena and Bianca.

Bianca is an Italina mafia princess and a retired Ballerina. I was not expecting her to be such a fierce and badass woman. Bianca is a soft-hearted and delicate woman and I love how she treated Mikhail with so much patience. She waited for him to touch her first, to tell her about his past and trauma first, she waited for him to show her his scars. She slowly and steadily wormed her way in his life and his heart and my heart broke everytime she kissed his scars better. She wasn't intimidated by his ruthless personality and I loved how outspoken she was about her feelings with Mikhail. She is as feral for Mikhail as he is for her and I loved how she's ready to fight anyone who sees Mikhail differently because of his scars and his eye-patch.


“And I get to kiss you everywhere. You got that? I will draw it for you if needed. Everywhere. Yes, your eye is fucked up. I want to kiss it anyway.” I grind my teeth and stare him down. “And you are going to let me.”


╰┈➤ Mikhail and Biance are so perfect for each other. The way they breathed life into each other and loved selflessly for who they truly were. The way they have nothing but respect, love, care and patience for each other. How they treated each other with so much tenderness and kindness and how they kissed and healed each other's emotional and physical scars just by being their for each other. It was simply so beautiful and endearing. The romance was a slow-burn and the subtle obsession and the build up to it was pleasantly enticing. The chemistry between these two was so good but they also had the emotional intimacy. They didn't even properly hugged or kissed in the first half and it was just stolen touches, soft brushes of their hands, lingering glances, Mikhail's hand in Bianca's hair (he is crazy for her hair) and it held so much weight and beauty in it. They made me giddy and swooning with just that.

“If you knew how crazy in love with you I am,” I say into her neck, “you would be scared shitless, Bianca.”
She pulls away a little, so she can look me in the eyes, smiles, and nudges my nose with hers. “Never,” she mouths then crashes her lips to mine.

Their family and domestic moments with Lena have all my heart and I wish we got more of them because it was comforting and made my heart melt. I seriously can read about Mikhail and Bianca doing nothing but just domestic shit and I'd still be giggling and smiling like an idiot. I read the extended epilogue and damn this man is scary af when it comes to Lena. He wouldn't let a boy date his daughter because he didn't bring her flowers 😭 someone give Mikhail the “Best Daddy-ing Daddy” Award.

My only problem with this book was that it was short. This series is my new mafia obsession because it is serving the age-gap and arranged marriage mafia romance on a silver platter and like an addict, I am eating it up. Broken Whispers is without any doubt my favourite of this series and it might take a lot of convincing and efforts to change my mind. But never say never.

Broken Whispers was a sweet mafia retelling of Beauty and the Beast. A Russian Mafia Enforcer and an Italian Mafia Princess. The strategic way of bringing two feuding families together. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

The highlight of this series is the wonderfully imperfect characters. In this story, you have the disfigured Bratva's Butcher and a non speaking ballerina. Okay I get sucked in every time...

I hope she won’t run off screaming upon seeing me, because I will be chasing.

It's fate that the one girl Mikhail has been in awe of has been sold off to the Bratva. He may be a reluctant groom but no other man will be laying claim to Bianca.

With her career over at 21 being wedded to a stranger is just another day in the family of an Italian sociopath. However her father never banked on the fact that Bianca and Mikhail would fall for each other and want to remain married.

I watch him as he bends down, buries his face between my legs, and licks my pussy.

“I'm not much to look at,”—another lick—“but I’ll make sure you never think about any other man, Bianca.”

Once again, this is a soft rendition of a mafia romance that I'm normally not accustomed to. A hint of mafia drama, a scarred hero brought back to life by an adoring wife and a cute kid; it's a pleasant read.

I don’t even know how to describe how much I loved and enjoyed this. The first book was great but this one just is top tier.

Mafia romance books are one of my favorite types. Mikhail was utter perfection. He was the definition of “looks like he can kill you and will kill you but also secretly a massive cinnamon roll”.

I loved their connection and how real it was. Loved the subtle obsession he had long before she was even meant to be married off. The scarred brutal man in love with a ballerina is simply too much to not love. The soft touches they would give each other before anything happened between them was 🔥 and the spice 🔥🔥🔥

She is mute due to a car accident and he knows ASL since sister was deaf. She can barely speak in whispers and it hurts her throat. He was just so careful with her. He wasn’t brutal or violent. He was caring and kind. He had the cutest relationship with his daughter. It was just great to read about since everyone who sees him thinks he is the devil and runs away or whispers about his looks and judges him.

Another thing I enjoyed was how she never and not once tried to please her dad no matter the threats and wanting her to spy on Mikhail or the Bratva. She didn’t even enter his office to look for any clues or let her curiosity get the best of her. She was patient and waited to TALK to her husband about what was going on and it showed so he trusted her enough to tell her what he could. She wasn’t stupid or naive. She knew the actual risk of betrayal and stayed away from it and that ladies is rare in these types of books cause the h sometimes forgets and does stupid shit.

Mikhail backstory is filled with trauma. I knew it was bad but to be given the details was hard. I do wish he had told her the truth and opened up about it and not Nina but I’m sure it would of eventually happened.

then you should've given birth to this child yourself, my guy. listen, I don't even care about the money thing right now bc wtf is that threat even? 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ just another day of men pushing back women's rights another century and then wondering why women don't want anything to do with them. 🌚 this is my first one star in a like a month (since the bird curse word book, iykyk) and I'm kind of disappointed. 😔

There wasn’t any major difference between this and the first book, but honestly, I found myself enjoying it so much despite that. Yes, it was just as slow-paced and somewhat surface-level as Painted Scars, but there’s something about the characters that kept me hooked and made the whole reading experience surprisingly satisfying.

Mikhail and Bianca completely stole the show for me. Their relationship felt so genuine, like every interaction between them was layered with unspoken understanding and quiet devotion. Mikhail had this beautiful contrast to him, he’s this massive, intimidating presence on the outside, yet inside he’s such a soft-hearted giant with so many scars from his past. The way his vulnerabilities were woven into the story made him feel human, not just another brooding hero.

Bianca, on the other hand, had this calm resilience that I adored. She wasn’t loud or dramatic, but her strength was steady, the kind that grounds someone like Mikhail who has lived through so much darkness. Their communication was one of my favorite aspects, no unnecessary miscommunication tropes, no dragged-out drama, just two people who actually talked through their fears and emotions. It made their bond feel tender and believable in a way that really stood out compared to other romance arcs.

“I’m afraid someone may try to take you from me, and I have this compulsion to kill them all before they have a chance to give it a try.”
Even if the pacing dragged at times, their dynamic gave the story its heart. Watching them find comfort in each other, build trust, and create this safe space together was so heartwarming. It wasn’t the most fast-moving or twist-filled book, but the softness and intimacy between Mikhail and Bianca made it feel special in its own quiet way. By the end, I realized I had a smile on my face more often than not, and for me, that made it completely worth the read.

We’ve got mafia wars, forbidden love, scars (both inside and out), and the kind of marriage-of-convenience tension that makes me scream into my pillow. And the best thing here is going without any expectations cause you know how the book is gonna be at the end.

🎐 I already know Mikhail is going to be the dark, terrifying man who secretly has the softest heart, and Bianca? She’s going to be the sunshine strong enough to burn right through his walls. I’m so excited to dive into their dangerous, tender, messy love story, because it promises both brutal mafia vibes AND heart-melting romance. Honestly, I’m ready to be destroyed.

Mafia arranged marriage + boy obsessed is the best combo one could ever ask for! I knew this would hit because, ofc everyone loved this one! It was a light read (except the backstory 💔) and a short read. Nothing is exaggerated or extra which made it fun! It has such cute and domestic scenes that it's hard not to love it! 🥺

Bianca is such a babygirl 🥺 I love how the author portrays different disabilities in characters throughout the series. Bianca is mute, but gosh, i loved how she didn't even care about it and slayed! There were moments when she roasted people without even saying anything 😂

Mikhail, if you have one supporter, it's always gonna be me (yes, Ri and Rowan 😏). I knew his backstory was going to be brutal, and I was not ready for that 😭. he deserved so much, and he is such a softie for his wife and daughter. Literally DADDY material. He's so protective and caring for Bianca, and so so oblivious and innocent when it comes to her Ugh 😭💕

It's nothing new, same old evil father, arranged marriage, and boy obsessed, but this is my comfort zone 🤧😌. i already know the first three books are going to be my absolute favorite!

• I can't wait to read Sergei's book (I know it's a plagiarized version of my best BF Vlad Kuznetsov 😢, but I can't miss it!).

Age gap, mafia, arranged marriage, emotional and steamy was the second instalment of the Perfectly Imperfect series.

I liked it, but imo, depth and development were not adequate.

Bianca’s back injury as well as Mikhail’s scars and torture were never elaborated.
Mikhail didn’t share his past with Bianca and kept a lot of things from her.

The appearance of Lena, Mikhail’s daughter, only served to show the reader his other side, the one of gentleness and kindhearted. Moreover, her role wasn’t well executed regarding the development of her relationship with Bianca.
Bianca accepted the role of Lena’s mother when any solid relationship hadn’t been established before.

Bianca’s brother was referred and tbh I don’t know how his limited role assisted in the story.

Bianca and Mikhail’s love and connection needed more building.
They never discussed about safe sex so protection was out of the question, and the sex scenes were not a few.

Regardless of all the above, I will definitely read the next part, Sergei’s story.

In order to... brag? I dont fkin know. This bitch is lame. And she threatened to "expose" another woman for getting cosmetic implant...? Um, okay...

No chemistry between them, and only 3 hours into the audiobook, she's head over heels over nothing. And calling him "the most beautiful man" she’s ever seen.

I don't think I'll continue this series.

Also, the WORST and lamest sex scenes I've read so far this year... zero tension, zero chemistry.

Love, love, love this arranged marriage mafia romance! The MC is a tortured hero who won't let anyone touch him and get past his walls, except for the delicate and fierce mafia princess he is forced to marry. The way this man was absolutely feral for his wife was so freaking fun, he was not above stalking her and keeping her away from any man who may be interested. While some jealous/possessive scenes can rub me the wrong way, our MC was just so sweet and completely worshiped the ground his wife walked. The character development and plot may be minor, but this smutty read was not lacking at all.

Honestly, I loved their dynamic. The slow unraveling of trust. The longing. The angst. The way he protected her but also respected her. Chef’s kiss 👨🏽‍🍳💋

Neva did her thing with this one — now I’m onto the next book IMMEDIATELY 📚💨

The way I would crawl for Mikhail is actually criminal. He just cemented his place in my depraved heart. This man is such a TEDDY BEAR and there were so many moments that were just 🤌🤌 yes, he dismembered some enemies but he also went to the park with Bianca & his daughter and chased them around laughing *cuteness overload*

Favorite moment: Mikhail holding HER HAIR in the mall because he didn’t want it to touch the Mall floor while she spoke to his toddler 💕

NO NONSENSE MAFIA ROMANCE!! Just delivers on every single thing without the unnecessary miscommunication and 3rd act breakup. The spice 🌶️ isn’t too dark either with a few ftb scenes that I didn’t mind! Will definitely be reading the rest of the series.

Especially recommend the duet audiobook!

I'm really loving this series of Bratva men who treat their women like the Goddesses they are. I really loved the build up with Mikhail and Bianca. They were two wounded animals, circling each other, feeling each other out. The little soft touches here and there conveyed so much. Mikhail was this beast. The Bratva Butcher, and yet with Bianca and his little daughter Lena he was sweet pushover. I have to say, Mikhail was so sexy, but watching his interactions with his little girl made my heart melt.

I loved how Bianca and Mikhail were both perfectly made to heal each others injured souls. I also loved how the talking barrier made all the actions and physical touch so much more profound. It also allowed them to be vulnerable and let go, instead of having to address the uncomfortable things. Their chemistry and steam was off the charts. I just couldn't get enough of them. So again, I really enjoyed this one and I'm very much looking forward to slightly psycho Sergei's story.

The gentlest and sweetest mafia romance I've ever read lol. The two MCs have nothing but love and respect (and a bucket load of lust) for each other. It's so rare to find an MMC in a mafia romance who treats his love interest as a human being. Easy read. Much better pacing than book 1. Definitely recommend.

TW: what you'd expect from a mafia book - gore, violence, mentions (off page) of instances of r*pe, threats of r*pe, physical abuse, torture, pro-life bullshit belief of the MMC (the only thing I didn't like about him)

I was just informed that Neva's 3rd book in this series is plagiarised! It's apparently a carbon copy of a book of Veronica Lancet's. So please be aware of that before you pick these books up.

All the stars for the hero and heroine.
The plot wasn't exciting - to be fair nothing really happened and there was really no effort put into an actual story BUT it compensated because the lead characters were just so perfect together.
I loved reading the way they interacted with each other and every time that said "I love you" I felt it.

This was achingly sweet and I loved every second of it.

Did it have a ton of stakes? NO.
Did it have a ton of angst? NO.

I loved this couple all the way through. They were beautiful together as they grew into love. It was wonderful and just what I needed.
