Tori Ross, the author of The Panty Plot and Contact High, brings you another steamy, laugh-out-loud romantic comedy that will answer the eternal question of just how much you can make selling pictures of your feet...and exactly what happens when the guy who's kind of your boss finds out.

Chantel - I blame my old roommate, Laney, for all of this. She moved out, taking her half of the rent with her, and the government just jacked up my student loan payment. I'm broke as a joke. There's also the problem of a "consultant" at work shadowing me and making sure I'm necessary to the company. I could lose my job, and a girl has to do what she can to survive in this economy.

There's one asset I've never thought to use before. I have pretty feet. At least, the lady at the pedicure salon raves about them.

Once my friends give me the idea, I make thousands of dollars a month by sending men pictures and videos of my feet. No face. Nothing too weird. The best part is that there's absolutely no way in hell that Jerico Merris, the grumpy and gorgeous man I have to sit with every day and invite to every meeting at my marketing job, will ever find out.

Jerico- I stay stern and professional around her, pretending I don't notice the way her pencil skirts fit her hourglass shape or that her glasses give her the hot librarian vibe. I wish I could keep my mind off of her, but she's everywhere. Her perfume. Eating lunch in the break lounge. I should keep my eyes to myself while shadowing her and not look at her phone notifications coming in, but I'm curious about her, and the phone is right there on her desk for me to see. What does she do in her free time? Does she have a boyfriend?

I never expected to see the app I see when her phone lights up at her desk. I also never expected to be the guy who's now anonymously asking her for some twisted things I would never have thought about before I laid eyes on her. It would be bad for business if she ever finds out it's me using the fake name and asking for videos of her feet. I just can't help myself when it comes to her.

She'll never know...

Tori Ross does it again! Like most of her books I've read, I have come in at the 2nd book. Luckily, they can be read as standalone. I enjoyed this story of Chantel and Jerico. Chantel is trying to make a little extra cash to pay off some bills by selling feet pictures. Then we have hot Jerico auditing her day job. Both seem to have the hots for each other, but how can they move forward without coworkers finding out or that Jerico is showing favoritism. Lots of spicy moments. Just an overall sexy story. (same review from me on amazon)

Hilarious foot frolic!

Chantel is in heaps of student debt, so when her boss tells her he is bringing in a someone to make the workplace more efficient she is now also worried about keeping her job as well as saving face with Jerico the efficiency consultant that seems to always be around.
So she seeks advice from her friend’s one of whom, Laney, has been a similar situation before (The Panty Plot).
When her feet become the focus of conversation during a pedicure they come up with a plan for her make some money selling photos and videos online of said feet.

Jerico has been hired as the efficiency consultant and he wants up make a good impression, but once he sees brand manager Chantel for the first time, he can’t seem to get his act together. What is it about this woman that has him so drawn to her.
When he accidentally sees a notification from a certain website she is using, he gets a crazy idea to be a customer just so he can get to know her better.
What could possibly go wrong or right?!

If you’ve read the Panty Plot then you will love this one too. I recommend reading that one first as it’s equally as unhinged, as hilarious as it sounds and there are cameos galore as well.

I read this book voluntarily for an honest review.

This is book 2 in Ross' Plots, Schemes, and Shenanigans series and a wonderful addition to the series but can easily be read as a standalone. Ross delivers a well written and smooth flowing romance read. Our main characters are Chantel and Jerico. Chantel is broke and comes up with an interesting way of making some extra money. Jerico is a bit obsessed with Chantel and finds out her secret way of making money and uses that to feed his obsession. It's safe cause both think no one will find out - until they do. A sweet with heat and plenty of humor too which for me is the perfect combo. I so enjoyed this read and I'm looking forward to more from Ross and this series!

Filthy and Fantastic
Chantel is in debt, worried the new efficiency consultant will want her fired, and desperate. In order to make a quick buck, she signs up to sell pictures of her feet on a foot fetish site. The instant Jerico meets Chantel, there’s an instant connection, but workplace dynamics means he can’t ask her out - so he connects the only way he can, through the foot fetish site. I loved the set up and the premise of this story - so many quips and snarks that are quietly hilarious. Plus, I will, from now on, be cognizant of what apps I allow to have notifications! Another great book by Tori Ross.

This delightful story had me connecting with Jerico and Chantel. She is one broke woman in need of financial resources. Her she comes up with taking pictures of her feet and sending them to men for extra money. When Jerico accidentally comes across the app his obsession for her has him involved thinking she will never find out but fate has other plans for these two. I laughed and cheered this couple on to finding their chance for happiness.

I was laughing my a** off from the Author’s Note all the way to the end of the Epilogue. Tori has a gift. I haven’t read the first book of this series and I am well aware that I don’t have to, but after reading this one I have to read the first one. With everything that is going on right now I need the laughter this book provided, it helped me forget the stress I am facing at the moment, even for a short time. I don’t think I’ll ever look at a ham and cheese sandwich the same way again, thanks Tori 😆.

Some secrets are buried under your feet

The Sole Scheme is the second book in the Plots, Schemes, and Shenanigans series. I have only read a couple of books by this author previously and not the first book in the series, so I was not sure what to expect. I did not have any issues reading this book as a standalone, and quite enjoyed the story about Chantel and Jerico. The kernal of the story made me laugh as it is all about the feet and just what a girl will do when she is in need of some cash, along with a man who is obsessively in love.
