It was like the last year of my life had somehow prepared me for this moment. The moment I step into someone else's shoes and pretend that Allie didn't exist anymore.
I was nervous, and honestly a bit frightened when I looked at the woman in the mirror. Who was she? Certainly it wasn't me, the wife and mother of three looking back at me.
But here I was ... stepping into a world of make believe, if only for one night.
We had our ground rules set. No names, not teases of what we would each wear. A true test of being able to spot a stranger in the crowd.
I had picked out the perfect mask for Club Noir's masquerade ball. I knew Allie would never suspect it was me.
And I was up for the adventure of finding my wife in a sea of people.
Little did I know just how exciting this would actually be.
Untying the Knot
Erik and Allie worked hard to build a life they were proud of. It wasn’t easy, but by the time they reached their forties, they were content. Not just husband and wife, but also mother and father to three energetic boys. Unfortunately, that didn’t leave much time for each other.
This series is their journey to reinvent their intimacy by diving into the world of BDSM. Their love takes them on a year-long exploration of themselves and each other. Together, they navigate the ups and downs of self-discovery to untie the knot of suburban domesticity.
As a spicy romance author, Skylar Quinn has learned the art of detail. It’s the details that matter most in a story. It’s those ‘details’ that determine the heat level. And Skylar isn’t afraid to bring the flames to her works of art. She is an Apple & Amazon best-selling author for several of her short story series. It’s in the world of spice that Skylar has found her calling. Deep down, though, she will always be a paranormal girl at heart. With a new story released every Friday, Skylar strives to give her readers what they’re looking for. Spice, and lots of it.
Another spicy, quick story about a married couple, Eric and Allie, who use a masquerade as an excuse to dabble in role-play. These are always told from both characters' perspectives, and each is written by one of the authors. These are super quick reads, but they are not short on plot or heat. I love the focus on trust within the relationship, but allowing room for brattiness is fun. Each book in the series may focus on one new element, but it also builds on what they have experienced prior. It is grounded with real moments and humor, which is always fun.
I absolutely loved this story! It was the right kind of spicy! I love how Allie and Erik played with each other! The whole concept of the masquerade event was great. Definitely one of the best in the series! I highly recommend!
I can’t say enough about this spicy little series! I’ve loved every book since the beginning of the series. Allie & Erik role play the night away at Club Noir. And when they’re at the club you know it’s going to be hot!
💚 Married couple 💚 In their 40s 💚 S3x Club 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
This is the fourteenth book in the Untying The Knot series. And Erik and Allie’s BDSM journey continues. They have awesome chemistry and their story is steamy hot! I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Erick and Allie are ready for another special night at Club Noir; this time it is for a masquerade and a night of roleplay. They arrive separately, neither knowing what the other’s appearance will be. Erik recognizes his wife quickly and has to chase away a guy hitting on her. He takes her to a private room, one she has never seen, and there is a special surprise inside, as well as the surprises in his pockets. They continue to act out their individual personas, while still masked, and have an outrageously sexy time. This is the 14th book in the series and somehow Logan and Skylar continue to ramp up the erotica between this suburban Texas couple. Highly recommended.
Played is part of the Untying The Knot series about Erik and Allie, a couple that had lost the intimacy they once had in their marriage after life’s demands, and their journey into the world of BDSM as a way to bring back the intimacy in their relationship. The couple had a healthy relationship, based on communication and respect, which allowed them to successfully navigate the BDSM lifestyle. Their latest fun was a masquerade ball at Club Noir. The book described their deliciously filthy night full of lots of smeggs and extra hot and spicy dirty talk
I love this series with Erik and Allie. Their journey is so HOT and their life is so normal. This story is about a masquerade party at Club Noir that Erik and Allie are attending separately and will try to find each other as their "other" personality! HOT HOT HOT in the Daniel DeFoe room of the club! Great story - great characters and steamy on top!
We find comfort in the familiar, excitement in the unknown.
Club Noir is having a masquerade party, and Erik has the idea that he and Allie should attend separately and meet each other as “strangers.” Through this roleplay they each discover intensified desires by seeing each other with fresh eyes—riding the passion of knowing yet not knowing. Very hot!
Untying The Knot continues to be my favorite slice of (kinky) life series. Always look forward to Allie and Erik’s next adventure.
