Unrivaled continues the epic story of Audrey’s growth in power and wisdom in the court of her monster father, the Duke. Amongst the greed, murder, betrayal, spying, and treason in the court, she builds support in her relationships with Isolde, Chay, Thomas, and the staff of the court that continues even as tension builds due to the imminent return of her father. So many twists and turns. Villains abound and a new villain begins to rise from the background. I really enjoyed how Isolde becomes a major character in her own right as a source of support, wisdom, and strength for Audrey. I read this book in one day - only taking time away from it to feed my husband! I was so captivated and enthralled that I could barely put it down – not knowing what was coming next. Exceptional story, character and world crafting. Can’t wait for the story to continue in Unchained.

What an absolute delight. I am so happy to be back in Audrey's world. This world is full of complex characters, political intrigue, Pirates, knights, and tourneys- but at it's heart it faces complex socioeconomic issues and dismantling the patriarchy. I can't wait to see what comes next
