Full of sex and swoons!
I loved it.
"I know what I want."
"And what's that?"
"You. In me."
"Gonna need dirtier, more specific directions..."
(Spoilers only if you haven't read the previous books in the series)

This novella can be treated like and extended epilogue of the No Weddings series. It's like the smutty cherry on top of the double scoop sundae of the glorious romance of Cade & Hannah.

I love it when authors do this type of thing. Kay & Stone Bastion wrapped up their series beautifully, but it's always nice to check in with characters you've fallen in love with - this novella is a total treat for their fans.

Allow me to summarize the story for you:
sweet
humor
hot
Hot
HOT
HOTTER
OMG My Kindle is melting
HOT HOT HOT
Sweet
*swoon*
*sigh*

Cade Michaelson
All that existed was blinding pleasure. Hers. Mine. Heaven.
We're back to Cade's POV on this story. It's been a year since he and Hannah bared their scars to each other. They shared their mutual heartbreak and their lack of love for Valentines Day... But now that loathed holiday has become their sort-of anniversary and Cade is determined to make new memories and replace his old ones. He's taking his new wife on a little vacation in NYC...

But nothing goes smoothly for poor Cade...

Hannah Michaelson
I love you with every breath of air. Every beat of my heart is yours. Now and forever.
Hannah has been kept in the dark about their super secret destination - New York City - for the most romantic weekend of the year... Her genuine love and sweetness always seem to boost Cade's mood when things go wrong...

And things are going way wrong....
Seems the world delights in foiling Cade's plans no matter how noble they may be.

Fortunately, this couple is strengthened by adversity, and a few moments of bliss is only a closet away.

This was magically sweet and sinfully sexy.
An absolute must-read for fans of the No Weddings series!

Note: If you Buy This Book on or before January 5th, 2015, your digital copy will be signed AND will include an intimate bonus scene from Hannah's point of view. So I recommend you get on that shit immediately.

The perfect blend of playful sultry banter, scorchingly hot sexy times and a deep appreciation for the love that these two people have for one another.

Valentine’s day triggers heartbreaking nightmares from Cade’s past. Having everything he’s ever wanted and more with a beautiful loving wife and a bright future to look forward to, he’s determined to put the past behind and make new memories of their own.
“My dreams wanted to fuck with me? Fine. Bring it. I had the amazing therapy of Hannah in my arsenal”

This novella is told from the witty, raunchy and swoon worthy Cade, who has planned an unforgettable weekend for his beloved Hannah and him in New York. But even when Mother Nature and life throw kinks in his plans, they still made it work in spite of them.
“That had been the story of us. One thing after another, the universe kept spinning us curveballs. And we kept knocking ’em outta the park.”

They made it better, perfect. Not just showcasing their incredible chemistry, but the solid relationship of two souls who are destined to be together forever.
“I love you with every breath of air. Every beat of my heart is yours. Now and forever.”

I have loved Cade and Hannah’s story from the beginning of the series. Their friendship to forever soul mates journey has gone through a kaleidoscope of beautiful emotions that will stay with me. And having for Valentine’s burn up the pages with their love and adoration was a welcome bonus. And let me tell you I will never look at honey the same way again.

I loved how, even in this short story Cade’s sisters were included, because nothing is more important than family. Which only makes this couple more endearing. And if you can believe it, For Valentine’s gives them an even happier happily ever after.

For Valentine’s is book 4.5 in the No Wedding series, which is a must read for contemporary romance lovers. It goes straight to my favorites.

3 Sweet Ending Stars

Hannah and Cade are married and happy. But, Cade is haunted by a recurring nightmare that has to do with his past. In order to exorcise said nightmare, Cade takes Hannah on a Valentines weekend to romance her. During that time he and Hannah work on what's been troubling him. Spend some romantic times together, which end in a welcome surprise.

They are both happier than they've ever been or thought they would be, together and in love.

This was a cute little ending and epilogue to the romance between Hannah and Cade. If you are looking for a sweet little series, this is a good read.

Gots me Cade fix ... Sad that it's over now :(
But it was good - Honey, closets, rooftop gardens and gondolas - couldn't ask for anything more!

Review:

Well, that's it. The last of Cade & Hannah and co. *queue sad face*

I am always a wee bit cautious when there is a novella at the end of a series. Experience taught me that I am often in for rather a disappointment than for a treat.
So I am beyond GLAD to say, this was good. In fact it was the cherry on top. Seriously. I love Cade (and Hannah). And I got all I could want from some more Cade-POV.

It's your perfect little cute&fluffy Valentine's fix with some delectable smut. And let's face it, we all deserve some extra smut since we waited two entire books to get some.
The banter between Cade and Hannah is still as fresh and amusing as in the first book. I love their little pj's and well it's what really made me fall in love with the two of them. We got some more little details added in this. Which keeps on amazing me. Seriously the Bastion's did some very good character building, and the details they added, just fabulous. This is a believable couple- their love for each other grounded, their relationship dynamic and full of sparks. I would be friends with them if they were in my RL.

There isn't much to say about the writing style, I obviously like it. I actually think that each installment of the series had an improvement. The writing style got better and better in my opinion. So well, For Valentine's has some beautifully written moments and is making me hope that we will see more books from this collaboration in the future.

The plot is actually rather action filled (and not just the smexy kind) and had me feeling all fuzzy grinny at the end. It's the perfect ending. I think I said that about Three Christmases.. but well, this one is even better.
The best part was "hanging"with Cade and Hannah again. The cast of No Weddings feel like old friends so this was awesome to revisit. I love when this happens and it speaks volumes about the character building.
I am really sad that it's over. But the end. It was the most real and perfect HEA. I totally adore this.

This would work as a stand alone. BUT why would your read this as one?! The series is to good to miss.

SOOOOO. Now all I got left... wondering what the Bastion's come up with next!

Really, this is going to be a wrap-up of the No Weddings series, which needs to be read in order. For Valentine’s is the final title, a novella, in the series.

I’ve had the privilege of watching the relationship of Hannah and Cade develop over the past year. They’re real. They’re believable, and most of all, they’re honest. If you haven’t picked up the No Weddings series by Kat & Stone Bastion, you’re truly missing out on a well-crafted, humor-infused, voyeuristic look at the way an honest-to-goodness relationship evolves.

I finished For Valentine’s and had to mull over my thoughts about it. To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised, but didn’t know exactly how I felt about the final installment of the No Weddings series. Maybe it was a little about missing Hannah and Cade. Maybe it was because everything was SO different in this novella, versus the four full-length titles in the series. For me, it was different in a good way. I’ll try to explain.

Whereas I would classify all of the previous titles in the No Weddings series as contemporary romances, For Valentine’s falls into the erotic romance subgenre. The novella contains several explicit sex scenes, all of which are written from the male POV. If you do not prefer erotic romance, this novella may not be for you. BUT…if you have read the other books in this series, you’re definitely going to be missing out if you don’t try For Valentine’s. If you’ve never read an erotic romance, and you adore Hannah and Cade as much as I do, then this might be a good introduction to the erotic romance genre. Readers invested in the couple will see the sex for what it is—making love. Making memories. Growing together. THESE are things that are important to me.

Like I’ve mentioned, I’m invested in this couple. I think Cade is the one that drew me in to the story, however. I have always thought he was wise beyond his years. Had that, “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger,” attitude about most everything. I also feel he’s grown a TON through the series. Starting off as Mr. Playboy-all-about-casual-sex, he found what I can only describe as peace with Hannah. Here’s a quote from Cade:

“I’d never considered myself an optimist. Realist suited me better. But I found myself drinking the half-full glass and subscribing to the notion. Maybe the point to focus on wasn’t the shit life threw at you, but the great things you did in spite of it.”

Now, originally I didn’t feel that Cade was all-in on this philosophy. He grew into it. Letting go of a thread of his control over all things was probably another aspect of Cade that I admired. The way he was so giving of his time, and thoughtful when it came to Hannah was probably the most important reason I fell for Cade.

Hannah, for me, became this old soul, with the perfect words of advice. Even though she also had to overcome some adversity in order to be invested in her relationship with Cade, she made it work. And she helped Cade make it work for him. She never tried to change him, or make him conform to some pristine image of what she thought her knight-in-shining-armor should be. She, too, was a realist, with a hint of optimist tossed in, I think. Her drive and desire to make Cade happy in whatever situation presented itself was admirable. Even when things weren’t picture-perfect. The entirety of For Valentine’s was a tribute to Hannah’s penchant for making lemonade out of lemons.

I’m not going to lie. There was a LOT of super hot sex crammed into this novella. Usually, when there’s lots of the bow-chica-wow-wow crammed into a short page count, there’s some gratuitous stuff going on that doesn’t further the plot. I can’t say that about For Valentine’s. Every instance of intimacy was purposeful and moved the story forward. When I reflected on the book, trying to figure out how to craft my review, I wondered if all the sex was going to be a problem for some readers. I decided to include my little disclaimer at the beginning. But right here I want to say that I can’t imagine the story arc playing out any other way. The place where Cade and Hannah were, at the beginning of the story, was light years away from the place they ended up. I think they grew together as a couple in so many ways—and their coupling was the catalyst, but surely the emotions involved in their love-making deepened their connection to one another at every turn.

Many thanks to the Bastions for concocting this fabulous series, on a pizza box. I look forward to further titles produced by the couple. And the fact that punctuation in text messages has been forever corrupted for me is a bonus take-away. I leave you with these words from Cade:

“Because no matter how hard I tried, no matter what curveballs life spun our way, incredible miracles happened in the middle of it all.”

For Valentine's is an amazing conclusion to an outstanding series. This is a fun novella that gives us an insight into Cade and Hannah's marriage. Valentines Day is a big day to some people, full of flowers, chocolates, and love......well not for Cade. Valentines Day only reminds Cade of having his heart crushed by his cheating ex. Nightmares have been plaguing him, but Hannah is right there with him chasing them away. For Valentines, definitely shows us how far Cade and Hannah has come as a couple. Hannah is stronger and it looks like she's left all her insecurities and doubts at the door. There is plenty of sexy times in this book and it's definitely a great ending to one of my favorite series. A must read for fans of this series!

I received an ARC copy from NetGalley for review.

Couldn't ask for a better novella for this series. This was a great conclusion to this series. I was so excited about their surprise and quick wedding in Three Christmases that this was just an extra kick for me. I loved seeing Cade and Hannah in love and happy.

This novella is the aftermath of their wedding leading up to the day that ruined Cade three years ago -- Valentine's Day. He planned a detailed trip to NYC for his wife, but things seem to constantly go wrong. Even though things don't go as planned they end up turning out better for him. When they got stuck in a snowbank he was frustrated, but after having a new experience with his wife I'd say that crash was worth it. Even down to the opera, they were late, but that turned into some hot sex.

This was definitely full of steamy hot sex, but it's expected in the honeymoon stage of their marriage. My favorite part had to be the end of the novella when Hannah blurted out "to peeing on sticks" -- I wanted to just die! That was simply amazing. I wish this novella shared some insight into their little bundle of joy, but it definitely was amazing.

I loved the end when Cade said that their son wasn't ready for honey yet -- lol, priceless. I loved that they had a business together and even planned on making more businesses together. Amazing.

From beginning to end Cade and Hannah have been perfect together and they worked through their past and individual issues. I love that in the end they succeeded and had such a strong relationship.

Oh...my...goodness. You know how the synopsis says steamy, scorching and explicit? Make sure you take those words to heart, because For Valentine's is that and more, starting off with one hell of a scorching hot scene.

This novella wrapping up the No Weddings series gives us a fun (and HOT) look at Cade and Hannah after the wedding, and the couple of days leading up to their first Valentine's Day as a married couple. With Hannah's help, Cade is trying to work through some nasty recurring dreams that hearken back to his ex...all while trying to give Hannah a romantic Valentine's weekend getaway.

You've got the sweet, the hot, the explicitly steamy sex, and more than one "awwww" moment, all packed into this quick novella. And you'll get it from Cade's point of view...have I mentioned before how much I love getting stories from the male POV? It makes everything even more interesting with a much more raw look at everything that is going on then what you get from the female POV.

Yes, the story is a bit gratuitous and in some places might get a little cheesy...but what it really is all about is a pure celebration of Hannah and Cade's love. Ultimately it is a very satisfying finish to an amazing series-if you've read the first four books, you will NOT want to miss this wonderful ending.

Another 5 stars...another top recommendation from me (18+ only!)...and I'm sure going to miss these characters. I can always hope and cross my fingers though, right? ;-)

What a perfect ending to Cade & Hannah’s love story.

In For Valentine’s we see Cade continue to struggle with his nightmares that Valentine’s Day has triggered for him and he finally opens up to Hannah about them. She, of course, is his rock and helps him understand and handle them. We have saw Cade and Hannah’s relationship develop from friends to lovers and then to husband and wife and I have loved every minute of their journey.

My favorite scenes from this book came from when they were stuck in the snow bank, in the coat-check closet and from their intimate gondola ride where Cade got his biggest ever surprise from Hannah.
Again, I am so glad that I got the privilege of taking this journey with Cade and Hannah. It has been a wonderful journey and I am glad to see that their relationship has survived everything that life threw at them and that their relationship is stronger than ever and still growing stronger by the day.

If you have not read any of Cade and Hannah’s stories – you need to NOW and will not be disappointed.

The books in this series are:
No Weddings
One Funeral
Two Bar mitzvahs
Three Christmases

A nice cap to the No Weddings Series.

Hannah and Cade are newly married and building a new business together. It seems they are poised on the brink of happiness, yet Cade has recurrent nightmares that increase in intensity as Valentine's Day nears. Three years ago he had his heart mutilated by this then-girlfriend who not only didn't accept his marriage proposal, she confessed to infidelity right at the dining table.

In an effort to create all new scorching memories with Hannah, Cade plans a romantic NYC escape--and nothing, not a car wreck, nor lost reservations, nor missing the first act of WICKED will put a damper on his plan.

This is a fun, sexy way to close out Hannah and Cade's love story. They find a way to turn every irritation into tittilation, every wrong turn into Oh, Baby...

Expect copious copulation and kinky kitchen antics. And a resolution that'll put a sappy smile on your face.

5 of 5 Stars For Valentine's by Kat &Stone Bastion
Worth waiting for this follow up story/epilogue to the "No Weddings' series. I read this novella in one sitting since it showed up on my Kindle this morning and enjoyed every second of it.
Cade and his Hannah are happily married now but there are some black clouds from Cade's past that hunts him in some heavy nightmares. There is only one thing that could help him to come over the nightmares and that is Hannah's unconditional love and guiding to insight and self forgiveness.
Loved this wonderfully sexy, witty conclusion of the No Weddings Series. Thank you for the extra in form of Hannah's POW. Know there is an epilogue, but hopefully you might consider some more input from Cade and Hanna's life.
Highly recommend the No Wedding Series! A must read!
Thank you Kat & Stone Bastion for giving us Cade and Hannah's smart, witty, humorous and oh so sexy story!

This little novella gave us a peek back in on Cade and Hannah and what's happening since their wedding. There is plenty of HOT amazing sex, nice little romantic moments and the typical Cade/Hannah connection that makes me swoon. This book comes from Cade's POV, which I love, and follows the two on a little Valentine's getaway that Cade arranges to make new memories on a holiday that was not so great following his failed engagement years before. If you are wanting a long, drama filled read this won't be for you, but if you have followed Cade and Hannah since No Weddings, then you for sure need to pick this up! It's a perfect addition to the series and was a quick read that left me feeling quite satisfied with the ending.

Thank you to the author and Netgalley for providing a copy for an honest review.

I love this series. I have laughed through each and every book in the No Weddings Series. For Valentine's does not dissappoint on the fun factor and has upped the heat factor big time. This series is not meant to be stand alone and should be read and enjoyed in order.

Hannah and Cade have managed to find a real and lasting deep friendship and fun romantic relationship that has survived exes from hell, past traumas, long distance separations, floods, a wedding and now a Valentine's that has the saying anything that can go wrong will. I loved getting to read the epilogue of For Valentine's. This was a special peek into the Michaelson’s future. I am going to miss these two.

I've been waiting for this book. I am totally pulled into the people and story lines of this series. Kat and Stone write wonderful stories. You can feel the love flowing all over. I love following Cade and Hannah. They are busy but laid back, if you get my drift. They have a special date coming up and Cade goes totally overboard for Hannah in NYC. He has some nightmares and Hannah is right there beside him. I wish everyone could be this happy and yes even being so in love there are hard times. There is a major at the end. You may figure it out but I won't tell. While this is an Adult series I would recommend this book to you to read. Give it a chance! I have this book for an honest review for NetGalley.

WooHoo!! We are back into Cade's POV- I think I've mentioned numerous times how much I love the male POV!!

This book is a short and steamy novella following Cade & Hannah as Cade tries to make this Valentine's erase forever the emotional scars of his past. What ensues is a sure of case of best laid plans going awry! I mean lost on the back roads, stuck in a car, missing reservations- I do believe Kat & Stone took a page out of my life! LOL

This little novella was amazing because not only is there some hot steamy car sex, but you get to see how Cade & Hannah move on after their non-wedding. And you get to share in some huge freaking news!! I am so excited and really want to follow Cade & Hannah more!

Don't miss out on this wonderful continuation of Cade & Hannah's story!

After four books comes a lovely gift for the series' readers. Here we have Hannah and Cade after the honeymoon. Even a short with these characters is guaranteed to have some swooning sex scenes and witty banter. This has Valentine's done right. :)

I loved this series. Cade and Hannah’s love story is one of the best. I read all 5 books in succession and still wish there was more “sigh”. Highly recommend.

Once again great story! I enjoy these two, Hannah and Cade and I really hated to see their story end.

In this steamy novella, featuring Cade and his new wife Hannah from the No Wedding’s series by Kat and Stone Bastion the couple decides to make new Valentine’s memories. Nightmares plague Cade as he tries to believe in his happily ever after with Hannah. Something is stopping him from realizing this is all real, his subconscious telling him this wonderful life he has been given is too good to be true. Can a weekend away with Hannah help Cade to realize he can let go of the past and revel in the present and future with the woman of his dreams by his side. Join this sexy fun couple on their Valentine’s weekend as mishaps and surprises nearly derail Cade’s carefully planned out stay in New York City. The universe seems determined to throw curve balls, but they soon realize that is when they are at their best overcoming obstacles. This sweet and sexy novella promises to be a fun read.

I am a huge fan of this series; I was thrilled when I received the ARC for this final book in the series. I knew that Kat and Stone would do the characters I have grown to love justice. They stay true to the characters that they developed so well in the previous books. I smiled to myself when I realized that nearly every chapter had a hot sex scene, where the first book No Weddings had nothing but sexual tension between Cade and Hannah, this book was nothing but sex and I loved it. As always the sex scenes were fun, sexy, spontaneous and well written from car sex, to coat closet sex to bathtub sex it was all fantastic. Without giving away the ending, since I despise spoilers I will just say the ending was perfect. The entire book screamed romance, if you are a fan of the series you will love how they bring this part of Cade and Hannah life to a close and open up a whole new chapter of life for them.

I am looking forward to the spin off books for Cade’s best friend’s Ben and Mason, Cade’s sisters Kendall and Kiki, cannot wait to see what this terrific husband, and wife team of writers comes up with next.

Received and ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Kat & Stone Bastion - For Valentine's

3 extended epilogue stars!

Cade Michaelson.
Hannah Michaelson.

1st POV, male. A novella of series. A bit dark. Nightmare about the past. Erotic romance.

I think this novella couldnt be a standalone. You need to read the series to know whats going on since there are a lot characters, dark dreams, and their earlier relationship thats not elaborate more in the novella. So when the first chapter straight showing us the erotic scene, i cant enjoyed it. I dont know they physical and connection.

Its male POV, with three sisters at that. Each sister has an interesting character i would love to know more.

A lot sex scenes, would be a pleasant experience to the reader who follows the series. Since i didnt, i just did some skimming through it.

Both the MC have experiences in being rejected by their former lover ones. Cade proposed to her GF only to be turned down and his ex revealed that she had been cheating on him all along. Hannah had been stood up in altar. All of those happened during Valentine days and a year ago on Valentine days they met each others. Now two of them married and happy together. This novella is an extended epilogue to their story.

ARC is kindly provided by Author/Publisher via Netgalley in exchange of an honest review. Thank you for the chance to review the book.

** ARC provided by the authors via NetGalley for an honest review **

Cade wanted to make Valentine’s day special for his wife, Hannah.
They went for a trip that they would remember, making memories as a married couple.

We saw how things evolved and how they decided to work together, after selling theirs companies, taking a fresh start together.
Not only Cade had some romantic, swoon moves under his sleeve, but he was also so hot for her. I think this one got the most sexiest and steamy parts, and these two could make it everywhere.
Besides all happiness, Cade was kind of struck in this past, having nightmares. He fought hard to forget them, but they were constantly haunting him.He couldn’t understand how these nightmares came from. Each time, they were making him insecure, like something was going to happen.
Hopefully, Hannah helped him to get over it.

In this one, Cade did everything to make Hannah happy and we could see how much he loved her, cherished her. Hannah was a woman full of surprises and we could see that both of the authors had succeeded to show the wonderful chemistry between Hannah and Cade and no matter what happened, they’re a team, life partners, always wanting the best for the other, having a future and dreams together! So it was a sweet and steamy novella!

I know you have heard me say before how great the books are in this series but I have to say they each get better and better. Cade and Hannah's story continues to grow and change even after getting married.

Cade is waking up with nightmares of the past and he plans an elaborate trip for Valentine's Day to try and enjoy with Hannah. She is very insightful and helps him when they have their heart to hearts.

What I loved about this book was it felt so real and genuine. I have been married for a long time and I could see why this would weigh on Cade and I even understood about Hannah's point of view.

He has such a plan with no time to spare to treat his woman, and you know how it is - what can go wrong - will. Hannah rolls with it and helps Cade see he is still being her romantic hero just by being with her and wanting to spend time with her.

I want to give this book high praise since the authors Kat and Stone Bastion have given us such honest characters here. This is the 5th book in the No Wedding series. I happily will await another book if they will give me more. I give this one a 5/5 Kitty Paws UP!!

For Valentine's is a novella that concludes the No Weddings series but was also written so that it can be read as a stand alone. I highly recommend reading this series in order since there is a lot of background to Hannah and Cade's love story and you won't be disappointed.

I am a sucker for a good epilogue, and For Valentine's is like an epilogue on steroid to the No Wedding series. This story brings Cade and Hannah full circle to celebrate Valentine's Day, a day that brought them together in the first place. This book is just as whitty and sweet as the previous books in the series and just as sexually charged! If you're wanting to give this book a go as a standalone, you'll enjoy a short book that's filled with great characters that truly love each other and show it by worshiping both the body and soul.

The best part of this book? While this whole book feels like and epilogue on steroids, it also concludes with it's own epilogue. This book won't leave you wondering where Cade and Hannah are in their life together, and you will truly feel closure to their love story by the end of the book.
