Good Book

This book was good. I felt as though some of the things happened too fast. How did Queenie become a queen pen in just a couple of months? When she is telling her sister Royal the story it was supposed to be 2yrs ago. In her telling the story a 2014 Audi was mentioned. I will read pt 2 when it is released.

I totally loved this one. I have read previous books by this author, and she never disappoints. This it the first of this series and I am definitely going to be getting the rest of them. I was drawn into the story from the first page until the last. Congrats Lola on a job well done.

I loved this...even tho it was a bit shorter than Lola's usual work, it still stood out to me.

Queenie is in new York to go to school and make something of herself coming all the way from Cali, this was her fresh start. She's not a good girl per say, she's just not with the ghetto B/S anymore and looking for more of an actual come up. Meeting Major threw her completely off track and it just took off from there....

Major is making moves and ahead of the game, he's an a** hole if you ask me, but treats Queen just as her namesake...I loved his character, you don't mess with his family and when it comes to holding down his girl he didn't even trip about how the situation came about...i respected him more just off that.

That ending tho....I know something happened, and that b**** Angie has something to do with it...i have soooo many questions, but I was actually still left satisfied...so i'll be waiting Mz Bandz

My 1st read by Lola Bandz

This was my first time reading a book by Lola Bands and I must say I was pleased with this book. She gave you just enough to keep you wanting more. I like the way she takes you from present to past as Queenie tells her story. It makes you wonder why Queenie keeps rubbing her stomach and why Royal keeps stating something is different with her sister. I can't wait to find out why Queenie returned home win nothing when she clearly had it all. I am also anticipating the demise of Angie. She is just a pure snake. Jealousy can be the root of such evil things,as this story line shows us. Major was just heartless for what he did to his baby mama and karma is a bitch for what happened to his own mama. The concept of the ending was like a television show, it left you wanting more and anticipating the next episode. I can't wait to read part 2. I would also like to read Fyast Life 3(Illusion of the Hustle).

Living a Thug good story line.

I am a big fan of Lola Bands books, but this is the first one that I couldn't give a 5 star rating. The story line is great but there needed to be more back ground information on the characters. Also the book was all over the place something just did not add up it was like the author rushed to get this published. I hope in part 2 the story comes together better. Because I know that the author is a great writer and will put out another 5 star rating with part 2 of Living a Thug just like the rest of her books. I still recommend this book too anyone that is a Lola Bandz because as I said the story line is good. I hope her next release will be Fyast Life 3.

YAY AREA!!!

My Bay Area girl has done it again. I have been riding with Lola from day one and I promise she does not disappoint. She brings that FIRE every time. The thing I love the most about this book was the CHARACTERS. I am in love with Major crazy ass. If I didn't believe in love at first sight I do now. I really hope Queen steps up and becomes the BOSS she destined to be, but I think as long as she has MAJOR by her side they will be a force to reckon with. I hope that snake Ang gets what's coming to her. I will be posted waiting for the next installment. I rides with Lola the long way. #TeamMajor&Queen!!!!

Maybe the copy I have is different from others who read this book. The grammar is so bad, I couldn't even finish the whole book. The story was all over the place. One minute the main character (I think she was the main character) was in college, then next, she was a dope girl. The author lost me in the beginning of the book because she introduced too many characters. I had a hard time keeping up with who was who. I bought part two and three to this book, but it looks like I wasted my money. Very disappointing. I thought this would be a good read because of the stars the readers gave.

Ms. Bands did her thang!

Reading this book I could I felt like she put her all into this one, I also love how she's dropping the next book soon because I don't think I could wait that long for the second part. I can't wait to find out who killed who and why Mrs. Queeny is running. Great work 5+ stars and your editor was on point.

Luving A Thug

This was an amazing read. I was hooked from the very first chapter. It's crazy how the person you believe is the goody to shoes, be the one going through the most drama. I love Queenie, and Major's relationship, I just disliked how the individual they trusted ended up being a snake. I can't wait for part two. This is a must read.

waiting for part 2

I started reading this book because another book I was reading was kind of boring me. This is about a college student who's life if turned upside by a thug she met in a strip club one night. Can't wait to see what happens when she finds out that her BFF is the one hurting her.

Pretty God read

This book was pretty good. There was a lot of back and forth. I think that the characters in the beginning could have been developed a little bit more. It did get better and a but resort to understand as the story went along. It ended a but to quickly, hopefully the next installment doesn't take long to come out because there are a lot of unanswered questions.

Awesome

Queen meet the right lady when she meet Esmeralda she brought the boss Bitch out of her. Major plays a important part in her life also. Angie really you are that jealous that you would do the stuff your doing to your so called best friend. I hope Major really think about his dream cause it sure is trying to tell him something.

I don't think there was enough of a foundation for the book laid down. Everything moved so fast, then the book was over. I still enjoyed the story. Now I'm on to part 2.
