Blueridge Hollow #2

Wolf's Vow: The Blueridge Hollow Series

Rate this book
A vow made in desperation.
A bond forged in fire.

Blueridge Hollow needed a leader, and Rowen had been ready to risk everything to provide her pack with a future.

Even if that meant forging a bond with the last man she thought she would ever choose—and the only man her wolf would never deny.

Wolfe was never meant to return.

Now he stands as the alpha of Blueridge Hollow—and also Stonefang Pack—and there’s trouble ahead.

Their marriage was a deception, a political arrangement, a necessary lie to preserve what matters most.

But lies have a way of becoming truth.
And bonds formed under pressure burn hotter than either of them ever expected.

When enemies strike from within and trust fractures at the seams, Rowen must decide if she can maintain the balance between duty and desire—or if surrendering to Wolfe will cost her everything she has fought to claim.

The world demands their loyalty.
Their hearts demand war.

This is Book Two in a trilogy filled with possessive Alpha energy, slow-burn heat, and a destined bond that refuses to be denied.

Set in a world where tradition rules and loyalty is everything, this wolf shifter romance follows a fiercely independent heroine and the dominant male fated to claim her—whether she’s ready or not. Expect emotionally charged power plays, simmering tension, and a connection that will reshape everything they thought they knew.

This is an adult paranormal romance intended for 18+ readers and contains mature themes, graphic content, and a central pairing that unfolds over three full-length books.

I have no idea where to start with this one, and I'll probably amend this review several times because I don't think I can even find the right words to describe it...

This series, in my humble opinion, is literally the best paranormal series I've ever read. Just when I think it can't get any better , you turn the page and bang there goes my jaw hitting the floor. The plots and twists are just simply sensational....you think you know where it's going, and then another curve ball comes out from nowhere, knocking you completely off the track you thought you were going. As heroes and heroine's go, Rowen and Wolfe are one of the best pairings you could ever encounter. But now it's war, and finally, that b*** druid has actually spoken properly and not spoken in a twisted tongue with more riddles than I've ever encountered in a book because I honestly seriously wanted to stab the creepy thing. What's going to happen now? ....no idea, but it's going to be one hell of a ride if this book is anything to go by.... I think I'm going to book a holiday for the next book because I genuinely can't put it down and therefore don't work... or sleep. Eve, you've knocked this out the park, round the moon, and it's still bouncing around... absolutely magnificent!!

Now, sitting not so patiently rocking and scanning posts for dates for book 3....... only joking ...........maybe

WOLFE’S VOW is the second instalment in Eve L Mitchell’s contemporary, adult BLUERIDGE HOLLOW erotic, paranormal, romance trilogy focusing on alpha Wolfe, and his fated mate Rowen. WOLFE’S VOW should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up after the events and cliff hanger of book one WOLFE’S RECKONING.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Rowen and Wolfe) WOLFE’S VOW picks up after the events of WOLFE’S RECKONING in which Wolfe having already fought for, and assumed the position of Alpha of the Stonefang Pack, finds himself the new Blueridge Pack alpha in the wake of the former Alpha’s death, and the fated mate to the late Alpha’s daughter. Rowen is struggling with her destiny, and the thought of being forced into a relationship she does not want but the merger of two embroiled wolf packs is about to threaten everyone including our story line couple. Not everyone is happy with the merger, and Wolfe’s reluctance to permanently claim Rowen as his mate, not only threatens the safety of his mate but the pack as well. Betrayal comes from within, and a united front is required to protect the wolves entrusted to their care.

The world building is detailed and complex as Rowen and Wolfe must come to terms with their mating; betrayal within the pack and from outside, and questions from those who are struggling to remain.

The relationship between Rowen and Wolfe is one of fated mates but a mating wherein both are struggling with their intended futures. As the daughter of an Alpha, Rowen is powerful in her own rite but mated to Wolfe, our couple find themselves the target of the people at the top. The $ex scenes are intimate and provocative without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of varied, questionable, energetic and angry secondary and supporting characters many of whom are struggling with their new alpha in charge. We are reintroduced to Wolfe’s inner circle: Diesel, Brand and Killian, as well as the return of the druid. The requisite evil has many faces

WOLFE’S VOW is a story of power and control, Betrayal and vengeance, secrets and lies, obsession and obstruction, acceptance and love. The character driven premise is action packed, thrilling and vivid; the romance is fated and seductive; the characters are desperate, determined and powerful. WOLFE’S VOW ends on a cliff hanger-you have been warned.

Wolf’s Vow by Eve L. Mitchell is the second book in The Blueridge Hollow Series, and it picks back up right where it was left off in Wolf’s Reckoning. It instantly drew me back into the world of Blueridge Hollow and Stonefang Packs.

Rowen and Wolfe have their challenges to overcome and there’s a lot of growth from these two characters, especially Rowan as she’s not tied down to her normal routines.

I also enjoyed getting to see how Wolfe operates his pack, understanding them and small details that you’d think most wouldn’t notice. But he’s precise, caring as much as he can be in the current situation, and strategic. He’s still definitely my favourite alpha wolf that Eve L. Mitchell has written.

There was a moment in the story that I felt like everything changed, and then like a smack in the face the twists of the story to unravel. In that moment, I knew the story would be unpredicted and then the cliffhanger struck. The cliffhanger leaves you on the edge of your seating and immediately wanting Wolf’s Dominion.

Loved this part from the story, as I felt like it was such a summary of this series so far and will probably continue into third book:
Two adversaries, one common goal. But their ultimate task: “Heal the bond, heal the pack.”

This is the second book in the Blueridge Hollow trilogy and it picks up where the Wolf's Reckoning leaves off. It tied some loose ends and answered some of the questions from the first book, but perhaps it was because it was the middle book that made this one so rich in complications and wild twists and turns in the story. In all honesty, I tend not to read unfinished trilogies/duets. The only reason why I'm here, waiting for the last book is that I had no idea the first book was a part of the series. I do have to say, I'm not sorry that I started because this is turning out to be a great tale. It's well written, well paced, and the characters are nuanced and engaging. And the best part is that there's great steam/spice sprinkled throughout the story that will make you want to melt. Overall, a great read and I'm going to sulk in the corner until the last book comes out.

This is the 2nd book in this page turning series and it picks up where book 1 left off, Wolfs Reckoning! Soon as I started this book I was hooked.

Wolfe and Rowen are doing everything they can to keep to try merge the Blueridge Hollow and Stonefang Packs, to keep everyone safe, they also have to build on their mate bond. There is so much going on within the pack, they need to work out who can be trusted, and just when they think they are figuring things out more curveballs are thrown at them.

I loved watching how Rowen and Wolfe's relationship grew, their bond is growing as they navigate everything thrown at them. I also really enjoyed watching all the relationships and dynamics between the Betas and Rowen grow from distrust into family.

I cannot wait to see how the next book is going to play out with what's coming!

I was gifted a copy of this book by the Author and this is my honest opinion

Book 2 of the continuing story of Rowen and Wolfe, forced to marry for political reasons but they fight their attraction to each other, well Rowen does! Well written , with a plot that twists and turns with situations that I didn't see coming, and which nicely segues into book 3. The characters have been fleshed into well rounded people warts and all, I struggle with visualisation but I found that I could visualise the world in which they found themselves and the problems that Rowen and Wolfe have trying to integrate their 2 packs, The treachery and unexpected hero's. I certainly recommend this novel and can't wait for Ms Mitchells next installment.

I was really looking forward to reading this and I was not disappointed. There were so many twists in the story you have to keep reading as you really need to know the answers. Rowan and Wolfe struggle with more battles and loss and the only way they can unite is by finally committing to each other and completing the bond. With their trusted pack betas behind them they have to embrace to take on the biggest challenge they will face. The pack council are coming for them and they will fight with everything they have to protect what is theirs. Another cliffhanger roll on book 3 I really didn't want it to end.

Most series can be read somewhat out of order but this is one that really needs to be read in the correct order to make sense ( and yes it does end on a cliff hanger and dont want to wait for book 3 ) More twists and turns than a corkscrew , enough action to keep you awake as you wont want to put it down and brilliant flawed characters so it is not the plastic hero types. If you like highly charged and complex paranormal stories this series is perfect for you.

I liked this book more than the first. Rowan and Wolfe are still bickering on what fate has decreed but the rapid and comical comments from other shifters is so entertaining. Rowan is also becoming more attached to Stonefang members. Traitors still need to be found but the packs are doing better. Now who is really behind the attacks? War is in the future.

Mitchell has done it again with Wolf’s Vow. Book 2 is intense, filled with anxiety and anticipation of what and who is creating havoc at Hollow Ridge. And oh my! Wolfe and Rowen together is like the calm before a storm. An added bonus Diesel is introduced and his intoxicating presence leaves the reader gasping for more. Such a hands down fantastic read.

Book 2 of The Blueridge Hollow Series. This book had so much going on with plenty of twists, action, and romance, making it hard to put down. Sadly, this does end in a cliffhanger. Hopefully, we get book 3 soon.

Absolutely loved this book! After that wild cliffhanger in book one, I couldn’t wait to dive in—and it did not disappoint! The tension is off the charts from start to finish, especially with Wolfe’s doubts about Rowen and whether she might be working against him. The twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat the entire time, and just when you think you can breathe—bam!—another cliffhanger that’ll leave you desperate for the next book. If you’re into stories with a fierce, strong-willed FMC and an equally intense MMC, this is 100% for you. Just make sure you read book one first, because this one picks up right where it left off and keeps the momentum going!
