When 13-year-old Aubreigh Wyatt died by suicide after enduring relentless bullying, her mother, Heather Wyatt, was left shattered-but not silent. Told through Heather's courageous and unflinching voice, The Aubreigh Wyatt Story is a heartbreaking, raw, and ultimately empowering account of unimaginable loss and one mother's journey to reclaim her daughter's voice, dignity, and legacy.
From the moment Heather discovered Aubreigh's body to the countless hours spent navigating a system that failed her child, this book chronicles the depth of a mother's grief and the fire of her resolve. Determined to bring awareness and accountability, Heather began sharing Aubreigh's story publicly, only to be met with gag orders and slander lawsuits intended to silence her. But silence did not win. When Heather found herself voiceless and facing an uphill battle, millions of women and men across the world rallied behind her online, sharing her story, vowing to be her and Aubreigh's voice, and raising legal funds to keep the fight alive. Suddenly, Aubreigh's name was everywhere. Her story echoing in classrooms, courtrooms, and conversations around the world.
She founded the Aubreigh Wyatt Foundation and launched legal battles against school districts and social media platforms in search of accountability and reform.
This is more than a memoir of loss-it's a call to action, a testament to the strength of a mother's love, and a voice for every child silenced too soon.
Finished it in one day. Real and raw truth. Goes into the reality of life after death and talks about the parts that most people wouldn’t think of as well. Grief lingers in ways you never thought were possible
If you are on TikTok, most likely you have ran across Aubreigh’s heartbreaking story and Heather’s battle with grief. This definitely details Heather’s grief and provides more details into Aubreigh’s untimely ending. I hope in writing this, Heather was able to find more peace and healing from the loss of her beautiful daughter. Too beautiful for Earth! #LLAW
A story about a mother’s grieve. A story about how bullying affected a young girls life, and left a emptiness in this family. This is a story about the reality of grieving and how the system failed this young girl. Sadly, it happens to much. Heather never gave up and kept speaking up to get justice for her daughter. Her love for her kids is infinite
#LLA💞 The way this book moved me to tears Heather, I hope you know you’ll never be alone and we won’t let anyone forget Aubreigh. Your strength is incredible.
I wish that I could put words into my emotions right now, but I cannot. This is one of the most beautiful and gut wrenching books I have ever read. Aubreigh did not deserve anything that happened to her, and I hate that she was silenced by the same system that was supposed to protect her. The Wyatt family didn’t deserve to go through the unimaginable loss, nor any of the things that followed after. I just have no words, I am so sorry.
Such a sad book but told her story beautifully! Stop Bullying!!!! As someone who was bullied since first grade I can relate to how Aubreigh felt when she was bullied and it hurts! #LLAW We will never forget you! Once I heard her story on Tik tok I had to read this book. Love you Heather!
I am a local to the area and witnessed the backlash that Heather endured for advocating for Aubreigh. As a therapist, this book takes a vulnerable and honest look at the depths of grief and the importance of mental health and suicide awareness. The things Heather has endured emphasize the fact that the system is flawed and that education, awareness, and changes need to be made within our schools and communities to protect kids and advocate for mental health services. Thank you for sharing your story!
This short book was heart wrenching, maddening and very emotional. Bullying is disgusting. Suicide of a child is devastatingly tragic and should never happen. But I can’t for the life of me make sense and understand how a parent allows her 13 yr old child to stay at a school that is doing nothing to protect her from constant bullying. The mom spoke to the school on numerous occasions and knew they were doing nothing to protect her child. And yet she defends her decision to leave her there saying her child still tried and smiled and seemed happy at times. I don’t get it. Take her out of that school and find an alternative. Also there was a part of the story that mentioned sexual assault but then it was forgotten and Aubreigh ended up having a class wiht this boy and a total melted down as expected. Yet her mom STILL kept her in school. And when mom’s therapist told her to take time from work after her child died, she did. So she managed to step away for her own sanity but not remove her child from it. The other horrifying things that took place by the parents of the kids that bullied her were pathetic but I had more questions than answers from this book.
If you’re on tik tok then surely you’ve heard about Aubreigh. The school system and the justice both FAILED Aubreigh. She was ONLY 13! She still had her whole life ahead of her. The girls that bullied her and lead her to unalive herself should have been held accountable, but no they instead wanted to be the “victims” when the real victims are Aubreigh and her family. I couldn’t even imagine going through everything that Heather did after the death of Aubreigh. It’s just sad that she had to go through all that just because she was grieving her daughter, like can a mother not grieve the death of their own child? The school systems really need to start doing a better job when it comes to bullying. Anyways this book was so so good, and I hate that Heather went through everything that she went through. My heart broke for her while reading this book. I hope Aubreigh continues to rest in peace and keep looking down on her family. #LLAW

If you are a mother you need to read this book. I knew of the unfortunate circumstances to what led to the end of Aubreighs life but I did not truly understand the pain and harassment the family faced afterwards. If you are a parent please learn from this book on the dangers of any social media your child is exposed to. I pray for Heather as she continues her fight. I look forward to the next book.
I felt like a friend was telling me a story, this was an easy read and kept me turning the pages to find out what happened next.
I had seen some details about this tragedy on tik tok and it made me so incredibly sad for the whole family. Then I found this book while scrolling on my kindle and I didn’t realize how much I didn’t know when I heard about it on tik tok. This book was such an emotional roller coaster, and I would 100% recommend everyone read it, and I am so so glad the Wyatt family got justice for their girl 🩷
It was good. There were times people/names were mentioned that I had no idea who they were because there was no introducing them or giving the backstory of who they were. I also felt that at times the story focused too much on Heather and not enough on Aubreigh. I’m absolutely sickened by the school district and their actions. Shame on them.
This is such a sad story and this family went through so much just to be able to keep Aubreigh remembered! I can’t believe all the ways the school system went to try to silence them! You will definitely need tissues! This is a book all the schools should have in their libraries.
The pain of writing this book had to of been difficult but I see Heathers grace and a love that can be taken from NO mother. I am so glad she is no longer silenced and she shared her story about her sweet daughter who I'm sure is missed every second of every day. I pray for her continued strength.
incredible book, it broke my heart to read but it’s well written and absolutely worth it. Just keep tissues nearby because I absolutely sobbed and I never do that when reading.
I think this story hits home for many!! She is a strong woman, and I truly wish this bulling thing would just get taken care of. Thoughts and prayers are with her family.
It was a really good book, it shared a lot of what Aubreigh went through. It was a short read and it was very good. I really enjoyed the book. I definitely recommend
