Helen Durrant is a very prolific writer and I have read many of her library. Overall the books are extremely readable, these volumes of Lennox and Wilde are no exception. Be warned though… there is no swearing or blaspheming, just good old story telling. Excellent themes, well thought out and enough to keep you on your toes.
Lennox is a DI and Wilde a DS but at times the way they talk to each other you would think it is the other way round. They complement each other superbly well. He, (Lennox), has history and she, (Wilde), wants to know all about it but he keeps stum and will not let her even know his secrets. This theme carries on through the three volumes but the stories are completely independent.
All good reads and recommended.
