Okay, first I want to take a minute to thank Mila for the chance to read this book as an Arc. I know that I’m a little behind on doing a review, but sometimes life gets heroic.
Now to the review!
Holy hell where do I start I thought Sal and Bella’s story was awesome, but after reading Gabriel and Valentina’s story I’m even more hooked into this universe. I never thought I’d be caught I. The chokehold of mafia romance, but let me tell you it’s definitely worth reading. From the first chapter on was so relatable to me because this couple reminds me of my boyfriend and I. Smart mother, witty, possessive, but loving all at the same time, if you haven’t read these books I highly recommend it.

Valentina was an amazing FMC. Strongwilled, outspoken, fierce. And Gabrielle. Strong, dominant, and hot. These two made an amazing couple. They could move mountains together. The passion and desire. This book held action and chaos. Steamy and beautiful. I loved everything about this book. I have not read the other two, but I’ll be going back to read them.

I was lucky enough to get an advanced copy of this book and I was not disappointed!!! Valentina is chaotic… impulsive… stubborn.. and an overall bad ace !!! I loved her so much throughout the story !!! Gabriel was demanding and controlling and protective… just the way we like em !!! 😉 loves the spicy scenes and the suspense kept me engaged the whole time… read this in one sitting!!!

One of the biggest perks of receiving ARCs is being introduced to new authors and series I may not have discovered otherwise, and Ensnared Choices was a standout example of that. As Book 3 in the Imperfect Choices series, it delivers intensity, emotional depth, and a romance that feels both dangerous and deeply personal.
Valentina’s long-standing obsession with Gabriel is written with raw honesty. It isn’t glamorized or softened. It’s messy, vulnerable, and entirely human. Every stolen glance and suppressed emotion reinforces how deeply he’s carved himself into her life. Gabriel, on the other hand, is controlled and commanding, a man who commands a room without trying until Valentina becomes the one variable he cannot account for.
Their dynamic thrives on push and pull. Longing clashes with restraint, desire meets duty, and all of it unfolds against a backdrop of rising danger. In this story we meet Valentina and Gabriel. Gabriel is Salvatore’s consigliere. A member of Cosa Nostra. Valentina is sister to Nico De Angelo, infact she is his consigliere also. They are members of Camorra.
To solidify their alliances the two must join together and what better way then with a marriage. Gabriel is the groom. Valentina wants to be the bride.
When she first saw him fight MMA when Nico took her to her first match at age 14 she was taken with him, obsessed. She wanted to make him hers. Unfortunately that was not to be. So they went their seperate ways and were engaged to other people.
Years later, neither one engaged and with her fiancée and
father in jail Valentina was free to do whatever she pleased with her life. Now, later, thanks to this deal that had to be made she saw her opportunity.
The wed and what follows is list and plenty of it.
But Valentina isn’t going to be your usual Mafia wife. Which causes Gabriel and the two factions its own problems.
There are people in both their pasts that want to ruin them and they will stop at nothing to destroy them both, including their families and the people they care about.
I loved the push pull of their dynamic. Yes the sex is hot but I love the arguing, the wanting to find how this marriage will work and how Valentina will fit now she’s no longer 2IC but rather a housewife.
Seeing how Gabriel navigates this relationship is interesting too.
You think he’s just doing it for the allegiance but once certain facts about his past come to life you really get deeper into why he’s the way he is.
Loved it a lot.
It kept you guessing more than it would and the moves in this book by all the players had you twisting and turning.

I really enjoyed this book. Valentina’s chaotic, impulsive energy clashes perfectly with Gabriel’s controlling, dominant personality. They’re complete opposites, yet somehow they balance each other in a way that just works. Their dynamic was one of my favorite parts of the story.
The plot itself was solid and engaging, though there were moments where I felt some of the threads could’ve been woven together more smoothly. I liked that there were multiple plot points running at once, but toward the end, when everything converged, it felt a little chaotic and rushed.
That said, I still really enjoyed this book. Valentina has depth—she’s restless, driven, and refuses to sit on the sidelines. She wants to help, even if she’s impulsive about it, and somehow that recklessness works for her. Gabriel, on the other hand, starts off overwhelmed by her chaos but quickly becomes fascinated by it. Watching him struggle—and then give in—was incredibly satisfying.
Overall, their relationship carried the story for me, and I loved how well they complemented each other despite the madness.

Ensnared Choices was a fast-paced, addictive dark mafia romance that I genuinely loved. While it’s part of the Imperfect Choices series, I read this as a standalone with no trouble following the story — though it definitely made me want to go back and read the rest 😁
Valentina is a fierce FMC who absolutely refuses to play the damsel in distress. Yes, she’s a little unhinged and definitely stalker-obsessed — but she knows exactly what she wants and isn’t afraid to go after it. In a world dominated by men, she proves she isn’t theirs to control. She’s her own woman, carving out her own power.
Gabriel, our MMC, carries a heavy load of past trauma that explains his very poor communication skills — but beneath that is a man who’s sweet, thoughtful, and eventual husband material. Together, Gabriel and Valentina were fantastic. From their love-to-hate-you banter and constant challenges to one another, to their surprisingly tender, intimate moments, these two were such a fun pair to read.
Even with darker themes throughout, this was an entertaining, engaging read from Mila Chase that kept me hooked from start to finish.

This was definitely a dark and twisty mafia romance! I love me some possessive alpha heroes, strong kick arse women who refuse to break with a twist of chaos and shenanigans that keep you on your toes!
Now this was the first time I’ve read this Author, and I love the details but at the same time, some of it kind of ran together. Frankly, I’d rather that than not understand and feel like I’m missing things. Even though I didn’t read the first two books of the series this could 100% be read as a standalone and not feel like you’re lost in the sauce.
I want to go back and read the first two books cause I’m loving these characters!
Can’t wait to see if there’s a book for because I definitely have some questions about what happens next and a bit that was rushed at the end without explanation.

I enjoyed this book. It's a mafia romance, which is something I haven't picked up before. The mafia setting added so much to the plot. The places they frequented like the gym and the club were so easily pictured in my head that the story continued to flow.
I loved the strong FMC, Valentina. She enters an arranged marriage and ends up getting more than she bargained for when her relationship with Gabriel snowballed in to more than just a simple arrangement.
I did struggle to come to grips with the story and the characters in the first part of the book, but everything clicked fairly quickly after that and I couldn't put it down.

The dynamic between the leads kept me locked in not because everything is perfect, but because it’s messy in a way that makes sense. There’s tension, obsession, push and pull, and that constant feeling like things could tip at any second. I never felt bored, never felt like it dragged, and I definitely wasn’t skimming.
Overall, this felt dark, addictive, and emotionally charged without trying too hard to explain itself.

I love how this series has a new couple to explore. Valentina and Gabriel. This duo are something else, and these 2 come together in a marriage of convenience to forge an alliance. Val has been a little obsessed with Gabe for years but life happens and the timing wasn’t right. But when the opportunity arises, Val takes her chance to get the man she wanted, but this is a mafia read so of course nothing goes smoothly and there are battles to be faced and overcome.
The battles in and outside of the marriage are intense, captivating, passionate and hot. Another fab read by Mila.

What a great read!! I loved FMC Valentina and MMC Gabriel. I appreciate a reverse stalker romance! Valentina knew what she wanted and she got it 😂 But i love that for her! Gabriel did not know what he was truly getting himself into it. I loved the different tropes in the book. Not only the stalking, but having a strong FMC. Her character was amazing to read about. All of the characters had amazing development and i loved reading about them. I haven’t read book 1 and 2 but im going right into them now! Amazing plot, amazing characters, and amazing writing!

What I loved about this book what the relationship between Valentina and Gabriel!! Valentina had obsessed about Gabriel for years and he didn’t know who she was until she walked into a bar.
Valentina is such a strong character which is refreshing to read as alot of books are about women who need rescuing.

Loved Gabriel and Valentina! They’re both strong willed and great together, with some bumps along the way. If you like a possessive MMC, independent FMC, mafia romance, you’ll enjoy this one. She wanted him and made sure she got him and he was hooked immediately even if he didn’t want to admit it.

I absolutely loved this !!!! This isn’t the usual take on mafia to say the least without spoiling anything!!! The spice was spicy and the FMC Is amazing !!
