This made me cry a lot I’m not gonna lie, she really hit home with a lot of her words. Felt like someone was reading my heart and just pouring it all out into a book.
Really recommend this book for any sort of healing whether that’s romantic, death, drama, friendships, military, problems with yourself, it’s all in here. Really love that it wasn’t about just one thing the whole time. Anyone can get something out of this.
Gave me a lot of clarity and confidence in decisions I’ve made already and need to be making now and in the future.
Everything I needed to read right now. I can hear Emily’s voice reading some of these. I sobbed and smiled. I’m so thankful for this book. It’s like she is in my head and feeling what I’m feeling. So good. So so so good. ❤️
“Self-Worth is knowing you’re allowed to choose a different ending”
Emily has poured her heart and soul into every word of this book. Through her poetry, memoir, and spoken word style, she beautifully captures what each chapter of life feels like. Whether you’re a divorced single mom, a young adult stepping into a new beginning, or simply navigating a difficult season, her words resonate deeply and bring comfort and healing.
If you’re searching for peace, purpose, or just something that makes you feel seen and understood, this book is a must read. Emily’s writing touches the soul and reminds you that you’re never alone in your journey.
A book you can relate to on so many different levels is a book that will have you thinking about it for a long time. A video of this book came up on my FYP on TikTok and it sounded good. Then it kept popping up because once you like something it keeps coming back on. I decided to just go ahead and order it. I am not disappointed. I related to so much of this book it was kind of scary. I needed this many years ago up until now. Definitely a book that I would recommend to anyone in similar situations. Also to people to help them understand what someone in these situations go through and think of.
